    Hi Dr. Lee, I was wondering if this skill is performed on a Candidate or Mannequin during testing? Once again thank you for your videos. You are an amazing instructor. Is there a chance you could do a video on test anxiety? Are there techniques you teach to your students or maybe some method in which you help them memorize skill order?

      Hello Christina, Thank you for the kind words. I will think about making a video dealing with combating stress anxiety.
      All of the ROMs are performed on a live person.

    Please do we need to raise the bed to a comfortable level for the cna to work with? Thank you

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před rokem +5

      Hello Chika, Credentia does NOT require the student to raise the bed to their waist level. Not all patients have an electric bed. If you are working in home health, you might not find a bed that will go up and down. Therefore, this step is not a requirement.
      Let me say this, I teach my student NOT TO RAISE the bed during the state exam because they are normally nervous and might forget to lower the bed. If a student forgets to lower the bed, this will be considered as placing the patient in an unsafe position. The student can fail for safety reasons. So, to me, it is not worth the chance during the state exam.

    So you don't have to put any gloves on for range of motion

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před rokem +1

      Hello Bridget, that is correct. It is the same as taking a blood pressure or walking a client. We don't need gloves on for the exam. Now, if you put on a pair of gloves you will not be marked off. You must make sure you take the gloves off appropriately and wash your hands.
