Great job for a rattle can Andy. I'm inspired enough to give it a go on my Strada.
I was surprised at how good a rattle can is, I just wish I had done a better job of the preparation, ah well live and learn.
Great job. Those little Italians bikes you have are like works of art.
They certainly do have a certain something, they are just so appealing to me.
My conscience insists that I say a word of warning whenever using paint with hardener, 2 pack, whatever else it's called, isocyanites are very dangerous and is the main ingredient of hardener, even in a spray can (that has the separate chamber). Wear a vapor respirator, not dust, and you should cover face and clothes too. We want old-guy-in-shed to be around for many years to come. It's great hearing you keep us up with your adventures.
You are 100% right and it was very remiss of me not to cover off the dangers of 2k paint. I did in fact use a vapour respirator.if I did a lot of this I would have an air fed mask.thank you for bringing this up.

It's hard to maintain motivation sometimes. Since I got the Bonneville and fell in love with it I've neglected my old Honda 500 twin that really needs a few jobs doing. I really want to get it done so I'm not using the Bonnie in the winter but while the weather is good it's always easier to ride the Bonnie than to start getting my hands dirty fixing the Honda. The Morini turned out good so i wouldn't regret the lack of prep you've tidied it up but still kept it useable.
For me it was a case of avoiding the Morini and doing anything but start on it, it took my pal to keep me focused for long enough to put it back together so I could use it. Good luck with the Honda

i don't know myself yet as I have been busy with other projects but I will doing another episode on it soon.
When did you get the Motobi?
A few weeks ago, it was a none runner but after a little fettling it now runs. It is quite an odd little bike, fun though.
