If someone stole from out here they would be shot and the God lord would be dealing with them. If you’ve forgotten we used to cut peoples hands off for stealing and they still do in other countries. The last bike being white I didn’t see a battery but that’s more than likely integrated in the frame. Either way everything and everywhere is different no town or store does things the same. For gods sake we had someone steal a candy bar and the female cop pulled his pants down and held a tazer to his balls for nearly 5-10 min before releasing it ALL OVER CANDY. we don’t put up with it out here. Plenty of resources for people in need. These are just greedy individuals.

When E-Bikes first hit over here in my county, I'd laugh at all the arrests I'd see because the idiots had no clue they had GPS, and moment they were removed, they activated and cops actually went after the thieves. I myself modified an old smart phone to use for GPS tracking, and was able to get my bike back the day the lock was cut, and bike stolen.
