What a wonderful introduction (man with glass of red plonk in hand!). A man after my own heart. Lovely Norton Commando (Roadster 750?). Totally agree with your thoughts on downsizing to lighter easier handling machines as we fade away. Electric leg essential for me now. Keep the videos coming 👍
just grabbed a glass of wine at 5.15 pm here in North Carolina USA (formerly from Warwickshire) & notifications informed me you had a new video 18 minutes ago see it's always 5.00 pm somewhere in the world, anyway enjoyed seeing you out & about again on your biking adventures, i,m recovering from kidney surgery so no biking for me at the minute, but enjoy watching my favorite you tubers of which you are one.
Thank you for your kind comment, I hope you recover quickly from your surgery until then relax with your wine and plan a trip or two for when you are fit and well again.
Just this weekend travelled to a bike rally with a mate who has an identical bike he has owned from almost new. About 800km round trip it never misses a beat. He is 70 this month and has no drama riding it. He just maintains it properly
@@oldguyinshed1703 As did my old 650 (think it was a slimline 650 Standard, single monobloc carb) until a conrod broke as I changed into fourth at about 90 - I was only a teenager is my excuse!

Of course the wine is purely medical you understand, the Commando is an 850 I think Roadster but not sure.

There are a lot of us still knocking about enjoying our bikes
Greetings from Canada, great ride
Hi Tom Thank you,
Sat on an 850 a while back at a dealers, was amazed how light and slim it seemed - as did my 650 single carb as a 20 year old several years ago....😂
By today's standards they are very small but they still pack a decent punch.
