I usually just go between Coyotes and Radscorpions so none see me, then i go to neil's shack get past super mutants while youre on the cliff and then just get thru the indiana jones reference with a dead trooper. Take troopers armor, get to mccarren take the monorail. Easy
Finally, a route with some chest hair
The black mountain path is far easier just go north out of hidden valley past centaurs and discover black mountain. Then just fast travel to the top and you're home free
1st play through *heads north*
2-99th play through *heads south*
100th play through *heads north*
I head north because it's a surefire way to get my favorite melee weapon as early as possible.
@@rudolfantlerofficial
That knife is pretty much a must-have for the early-game of any melee build.
@@arifhossain9751 I'm actually not talking about chance's knife, but the fire axe that spawns on a dead fiend in the tribal village.
@@rudolfantlerofficial
ah yes...
Knock Knock Jr
@@arifhossain9751 Knock Knock is good but the durability's kinda shit ngl.
I do like this one. I'm partial to heading to Neil's shack from hidden valley. The going up black mountain until you see the dead NCR solider on the path with the bear traps. Just avoid said traps and the rock traps and you're golden.
Yeah you might have to fight 2-3 super mutants but I think that's way easier than possible cazador and deathclaw encounters. And if the mutants have some good weapons to sell/use then that's just extra.
The rocks won't hurt you. To avoid the muties just sneak on the hill nearby instead of walking straight down the road.
There's a ledge you can hop on that the muties won't even see you
@@BlueBeetle1939 yeah you might be in caution but otherwise you're all set.
Nothing better than taking the train at camp McCarran
You can get additional stealth boy from Joe Cobb, also the route along the main road on the right past Sloan is much easier.
Points for "inner Skyrim horse".
Go by black mountain. Punch the air so the Mutant doesn't talk to you and fast travel to it as soon as it pops up to avoid his dialogue. This unlocks Black mountain for later if you ever want to finish the story. You can just hop down the mountain to the substation. There is nothing dangerous on this route except some centaurs which can be dodged easily. Then just head north to vegas or go to McCarran and take the monorail straight to the strip.
What do you mean by "punch the air"?
@@megatronjenkins2473 Literally attack the air. If you’re “in combat” NPCs won’t talk to you
@@deejaythedj313 I mean I wouldn't talk to someone randomly punching the air lmao
If you go through Hidden Valley and then straight over to Neil's Shack, you can avoid the centaurs. If you then stay up on the ridge to slip in behind the first checkpoint on Black Mountain, you can find a fallen NCR trooper whose armour you can take to get you onto the monorail without making anyone hostile.
Always happy to see an upload from you! Your cheery disposition is just what I need in the morning!
Love your channel FroBro. I’ve been playing NV off and on for 6 years and I’m still learning so much because of you. Currently playing it again for the first time in a year and I didn’t forget your wonderful channel
I knew about the path, but I didn't know about the stealth boy! I just usually ran from the swarm of scorpions and cazadores on the wonder path made of No. 😐👍
There's an even easier method with the stealth boy. Just kill the bark scorpions near Hidden Valley and reach Neil's place, from there follow the I-15 from up above on the rocks, crouching.....as soon as the Deathclaw become cautious, activate the stealth boy. Keep hugging the wall going north east, eventually you'll see the Repconn HQ and you'll have created a lot of space between you and the Deathclaws. You can just run there at that point
What's up FroBro, found your channel from your shorts. Not sure if you'll respond but your channel is a refresher compared to the other stuff I see. New Vegas is one of my favorite games, I appreciate the great content.
i just goes to black mountain and grab the ncr uniform and go through the rocks below to camp mccarran
Loved the part about the Inner Skyrim Horse! Lol Great Video.
I usually just go through Scorpion pass
This is the way to do it. Don't beat around the bush. Screw Goodsprings, screw the Powder Gangers, screw the Legion... get me to Benny now. I have two recently stiched bullet wounds and exactly one holdout weapon. I will F5 the rest of the way from here.
I take a somewhat similar path (I'm not level 1 when I reach the strip but close enough):
1. Go through the hills.
2. Take out the cazadores in the tribal village (pick your poison, I use the grenade rifle for convenience sake).
3. Go down the hill and dispatch the raiders in bonnie springs.
4. Go through fiend territory (usually taking out Cook Cook and Violet in the process).
5. Keep going up until you reach Westside.
6. ???
7. Profit!
But then you'll level up before buying intelligence implant at the clinic, the inefficiency!
@@benito1620 I value getting a fire axe, Love and Hate, a Trail Carbine, flamethrower, and .44 magnum revolver over getting the intelligence implant.
@@benito1620 Unless you're doing logan's loophole character there's more than enough points to max everything by Lv.50 and plenty of skill books. Sounds like a fun route tbf
The route thru black mountain is also easy
Damn, you weren’t joking about the rad scorpions lol
That is so suicide right there, if you don't know what you're doing or if you're ill equipped. I always just do it the vanilla way, everytime, with the tutorial and all and just make my way to the Strip that way after dealing with the Great Khans in Boulder City. That way, I am fully equipped with two companions, Boone and ED-E, and at a good level with enough caps to take on Freeside before heading to The Strip! Lol, nostalgia!
But how are you going to get your int implant before level 2 :( so not optimal (I'm kidding you should play it however you want but I always rush to the strip so I can get that implant and my room at the lucky 38 ASAP
I managed to get the bugs to try to follow me up the mountain, which they somehow suck at even though they fly, and attract the attention of the deathclaw. Then I snuck by as the deathclaw tangled with them. xD
A very helpful video for my friend who preferred Fallout 3 over New vegas because he cant figure out where to go lol
When the courier has his empty hands up in front him, I'm just imaging him driving an invisible car while being frustrated
Thank you bro been playing fo nv again and I killed Benny in record time
Hey FroBro, have you tried the Stewie Tweaks controller options? You can set a custom deadzone and also have a smoother response curve. I would imagine you have already but I just wanted to throw that out there if you haven't seen those options yet.
Looks like you were going for a no combat route. I usually climb the hills to the West just before the warning sign. Then hug them as I go to the Khan's camp, picking up Chance's knife and gear. Blow up the cazadores with dynamite. Then climb the hills again to get as high as I can to take out the raiders in the town ruins. After that continue to the Posidan station then to Camp Mccairin
Now that's a route with some chest hair!
The always went the Primm Pass way.
You can either take the quest route or you can just run like fuck through Quarry Junction.
Always go straight to Vegas so I can get that reputation reset out of the way
Does anyone else kinda like following the story and going south?
the question is, what happens after youve reached the strip? no speech for quests, no sneak for weapons into casinos, etc. regardless this is a great info, players on console could probably make use of this at some point.
Ideally you set your luck high enough (I like 9) to beat the atomic wrangler for money then do the same to the strip casinos and enjoy your early game implants and weapons 😂 but you can do whatever really
fair enough, i didnt think that luck affected odds in gambling in fnv. thank you for that info as well.
I'm not gonna lie to you I ignored your instructions and I ran straight through cazador territory nearly dieing somehow pass deathclaw territory and survived 💀
Can't you just take I-15 North and just use the Stealth Boy when you get to the Deathclaws?
Yes, you can even do it without a stealth boy or anything if you climb and hug the cliffs to your right, directly north from Neils Shack. then just head east towards repconn HQ and you're free.
I crept dying to the bug things😢
I like to pretend im Forrest Gump and lower my Charisma and Intelligence to 1 but max my Strength, Endurance and Agility to 9. Then Run to Vegas.
Fallout new vegas stealth edition.
