I enjoy watching your adventures, seeing your doggos and hearing what you are reading. Thanks for your video.
Thanks for watching and for such lovely comments you are too kind 🥰
It was so nice to meet your friend Ruth. From now on, I’m going to describe the psychological thrillers that I read as “murdery.” 😄And speaking of murdery, I recommend Mary Kubica’s latest thriller, “She’s Not Sorry.” An ICU nurse is caring for a woman in a coma who fell off a bridge and is very badly injured. I can’t say more without spoiling it but it’s worth reading.
That cracked me up too. Murdery. Going to use that.
@@janeandclementine It's descriptive AND fun. It really needs to be a word.
I'm letting Ruth know as she will be chuffed to bits to know you liked her description 😄 I don't think I've read Mary Kubica's books at all!!! Sounds like a good thriller to me!
@@MeMyDogAndBooks Here are some of Mary Kubica’s other titles that I suggest:
“The Other Mrs.”
“When the Lights Go Out”
“Don’t You Cry”
“Every Last Lie”
“Pretty Baby”
Have a look at these titles on Goodreads and see if they appeal to you. I would give a pass on “Local Woman Missing” and “The Couple at the Table” as they’re not her best, in my opinion.
@@MJ-in-Canada AMAZING - thank you!
The Watchers was such a fantastic read for me. I read it a couple months ago. It does start slow but it picks up and leads to a shocking conclusion. Hope you enjoy it!
That's good to know, I shall pick it up again for sure!
I really look forward to seeing your videos thanks for all the input. I downloaded the book app you recommended and found that very useful. I highly recommend Stephen King's Fairy Tale . Absolutely loved it . Take care
That's so very kind of you to take the time to say - thank you! Oh Fairy Tale was a good one it was just a brilliant showcase for his story telling. His next one out later this month is a short story collection I think?
As a huge Stephen King fan I'm wondering why I've never read Rose Madder!!!! Definitely one to check out soon
So far it's really good, pretty dark !
Lovely vlog!! Oosh it did get hot there for a bit (we're in Wales though!)
Thanks so much pal! It was and I was melting!
Love your dogs. I’ve got 3 cavapoos. I used to do ok in the sun when I was younger but now in my 40s I don’t enjoy it, I get too hot and muggy pounding headaches
Aww what are your cavapoos called? Hope they aren't too hot in the heat?!
Naughty Lucy with the tea cake , my dog once ate a bag of rum’n raisin fudge 😱😱😱😱😱 overnight vet stay 🥲 lucky the insurance covered it. The watcher sounds so good. I’m currently reading Never saw me coming by Vera Kurian and Not that kind of girl by Lena Dunham 📚📚🐶🐶
Thankfully I have insurance too but it’s always so scary isn’t it! Are you enjoying your reads?
@@MeMyDogAndBooks yes scary and stressful 🙈 yes Never saw me coming is a type of dark academia the chapters are short and I’m getting g through it fast and the other one is non fiction it’s funny , I’ve just started watching her series girls and I’m very late to the party on that it’s hilarious and relatable in parts I’m on series 3 now 🤣
Another interesting video , thanks Johanna xx
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for watching and comment, it's much appreciated 🥰
