Another fab weekend vlog, thank you ❤
THANK YOU for watching ☺️
I love thrifting for books! It is extra satisfying when you find something
Always. The only kinda shopping I love the most 🥰
Your mom so beautiful. ❤❤❤
You are so kind thank you 🤩
I prefer quick summaries rather than the whole blurb but only slightly! ❤ I don't read blurbs myself so I tune out partway through haha
Noted that’s very helpful to know thank you 🧡
Any weekend where you don’t get electrocuted is a good weekend.😆 I’m good with either a blurb or a quick summary; they both work for me.
Thanks ☺️ trying to avoid future electrocutions 😂
I’m always so happy to see you posted a video ❤
Your comment has made me smile today thank you!
Happy gotcha day! We celebrate those too!
Aww 🥰 thanks! It’s a special day isn’t it?!
I really look forward to your content!!
Thanks so much pal!
I’m the same I prefer quick summaries xx
Thanks that helps me! Summaries going forward 👍🏻
Thank you for this video. I really enjoyed it. I'm sorry you got caught out on the day of the March. I loved seeing the cuddles with Patti.
I know we were talking about your mams frame but I can't remember if you said there is a seat. A four wheeler is definitely better for a seat but it can be a bit more annoying to fit in a boot of a car. They do fould though so that is good.
I love hearing both your summery AND hearing the blurb. Because we all take different things from them.
I love seeing the dogs in the videos too.
Personally I'm glad your videos are not edited to death or super polished. It really makes it feel more down to earth. Like chatting to a friend and not an influencer selling an unachievable life style ❤
thanks as always for watching, mum's frame doesn't have a seat so that's a good idea for her! The doggos will always feature if I can get them in and they aren't snoozing ;) aww thanks so much for my video feedback as I am very much a beginner and still learning and my life isn't polished so no point in my videos being ha ha ha ha
I really enjoyed this vlog. New subscriber as of 3 mins ago!
well hellloooooooooo new pal! thanks for watching and subscribing I hope you enojoy my videos and chatting with me, Lucy and Patti
Happy over one week late Gotcha Day Puppo Patti 🥳Ginger and Me sounds quite interesting and I definitely want to try that on audiobook. I'm currently reading God of the Woods by Liz Moore and absolutely adoring it!
Oh is God of Woods the one doing the rounds on all the bookish socials right now?
@@MeMyDogAndBooks it is! Thankfully, it’s absolutely worth the hype. It’s in my top 5 books this year. So atmospheric and a great exploration of class and town dynamics!
My book haul this weekend includes 2 of your recommendations; Word Slut and Cut From The Same Cloth ☺️ I think I'm a quick summary person over the whole blurb, especially if it's something you've read as I'm more likely to go off recommendations.
Oh I do hope you enjoy those books from your haul! That feedback is super helpful re blurb vs summaries thank you.
I met Gillian McAlliser earlier this year. She came through the airport, and I did her makeup. I didn't know it was her until we got chatting. I don't Know who was more excited me for meeting her, or her because I had read her books.😂

OMG really that's amazing!!! It makes me like her even more knowing she was excited by you reading her books!

Totally love Matt Haig's Midnight Library and Reasons To Stay Alive. Also really enjoyed them on audible. Sad and confused as to why the Midnight Library got some bad reviews. Hope he makes it into your weekend vlog when you go to the signing. Used to have Ginger and Me but couldn't read it because it was the wrong size (I'm autistic), but I think maybe it was an advance copy so it might be smaller now. I shall have to keep a look out for it because you have reignited my desire to read it. I do prefer your summaries to the book blurb, but you read so many books there's a lot to remember. Do you go to Wigton Book Festival? Glad you had a much more peaceful weekend.
I think some of the reasons people struggled with midnight library was the content themes around death i know a few people that struggles with that. I however really like it, I will definitely take you along to the Haig event! I've been to the Wigtown Book Festival twice, I'm overdue another visit. Not this year though but maybe next. Have you been?
I haven't been though it is local to me so maybe this year or next. Bloody Scotland and Newcastle Noir are also on my radar and the International Agatha Christie Festival would be just brilliant though much more difficult to get to. Money, time, childcare, transport, someone to go with etc. But if not this year then definitely next year for at least one bookish trip.
Also both Bristol and Bath look like good bookish places to visit.
I know finding the time and money is the first hurdle to getting to a bookish events
No blurbs please, short summary with no spoilers!
Never spoilers and will summarise more thanks for the helpful feedback
