Welcome to another weekend reading vlog, this weekend I head to Edinburgh for a book event to see Coco Mellors talk about her book Blue Sisters, have a wee morning of cycling and hanging with the pups and tell you (through too many yawns) what I've been reading and some new books I received this week!

My appliances are definitely on strike and it was either save for a new dishwasher or travel to Bristol for a bookish weekend and buy books - guess which I chose

Saw your vlog and was very conflicted. Watch now or chores first and then sit and enjoy. . . Consequently,an afternoon of chores. The cost of instant gratification .

You really make me want to cycle more! I have an indoor bike and I enjoy it, but your scenery looks stunning. I just recieved my copy of Blue Sisters from Blackwells UK, since in the US it doesn’t come out until September. I loved Cleo & Frank so I’m beyond excited- especially since we have similar book taste 😊❤

Loved seeing the Edinburgh footage, I went there several years ago and it might be my favorite city in the world 😳😍 Or at least top 3, haha. And I’ve been seeing lots of good things about Blue Sisters, definitely curious to check it out!
Glad you enjoyed it! Edinburgh is a beautiful city and I’d say almost as beautiful as its sister city Glasgow (which is Scotland’s largest city!) blue sisters is outstanding
