hello friends, i hope you are all doing okay! i'm back with another vlog, this time filled with lots of reading! i finished two books in this vlog (both of which i looooved) and started an old favorite. i've been reading quite a lot lately which i'm so happy about. i'm genuinely enjoying all of the books i'm reading and it's been such a treat! i've also included a bunch of snippets of my mornings, the tv shows + films i'm watching, and other cozy moments. i sincerely hope you all enjoy this vlog!!

well now i need to read and watched anne of green gables. when I was little I used to watch the 1985 version and I was obsessed with it!
yess do it!! the book is fantastic, and so is the netflix show (even though they're a little different)!! i've heard such wonderful things about the 1985 version, it's on my to-watch list! along with the anime version :')))
Anne with an e is my all time fave tv show and Anne of green gables is such an amazing book I cried my eyes out at it!! seeing you annotate the book is making me so so jealous because I read mine via library book 😭😭 your annotations are so so aesthetic tho!!

anne with an e is such a delight! i kid you not, i cried my eyes out almost every single episode and bawled during the last 2 episodes of season 3. the whole show has my heart 😭😭 it’s the absolute best, and reading the book right after finishing the show just felt so right. i love both the book and the show even though they’re a little different :’) you should definitely get a physical copy and make some annotations of your own! i had so much fun with anne of green gables in particular 🤍🤍🤍

I also bought the book after seeing the Netflix series ❤ it was so beautiful and the best preteen coming of age story from a girl’s perspective. It was so calming and I’m just sad that I didn’t have a series like this to watch at that age. Even as an adult, it really was profound to see the young girls find their inner strengths.
i’m so happy you liked the film and bought the graphic novel! i feel like the author and artist deserve allll the love 🥹🤍 yes me too! it’s such a beautiful story, and i agree. i can only imagine how powerful it is to a younger audience 🤍
I felt so connected to the way you talked and felt about reading Anne and the way you annotated! I love doing it but I had never done it like this before! I drew branches on every Anne’s dialogue that I loved (basically all of them lol), I underlined almost the entire book with green highlighter and I used A LOT of sticky notes. I did it because I knew that’s what Anne would have done and it felt so right and it was so fun so I related so much to your video 🥹 it’s the first time I relate to someone doing heavy annotation 💚 and I also watched the series first so I was comparing them a lot too and I’m feeling so happy about the fact that the vibe is so similar 🥹 (I haven’t finished it cause I don’t want it to end haha I’m having the time of my life 💚), another thing I related to with your video ☺️ and I knew it was my favorite book even though I hadn’t even started it just because of the show 🥹 I absolutely loved your video! I’m subscribed now 🥹 so happy I found it through Anne, she’s my favorite person ever, I also wish I had known her a lot sooner 💚
Ahh finishing a book in 4 hrs feels so great! When I have time this may, I plan to do a 24 hr readathon (and maybe I'll even start the booktube channel I've been dreaming of forever🙈❤)

also i got a question , how can you anotate your books and write on the with a pen and highlighters ?? i really can't touch my books with something other than pencil
hi!! oh wow, thank you so much! welcome hehe 🫶🏼 i’m so happy you enjoyed the vlog! it honestly started out with some post-it notes and a pencil (i was veryyy scared at first too)! but i slowly got more comfortable and am now more than happy to “ruin” my books 😅 it definitely takes practice :)
