- Hello pals,
Hope you enjoy watching me ramble chat at you whilst I mostly empty two of my bookshelves in my living room, then you will get to see them magically reorganised into some sort of colourful chaotic order.
I won't be listing all the books featured here as there hunners BUT please feel free to count how many times I say the word "phenomenal" in this video 🙈
Are there any books here you've read or I've enticed you to read?

The rediscovery is why I love to move or rearrange my shelves. It is so fun to watch you work.
I'm glad it wasn't a dull watch 🙊
Did make me laugh because it sounded just like me . . loads of books "not read that one, not read that one" finding books you didn't know that you had and ones that you've bought more than once because you had forgotten that you had it. A true book lover just like me 😂
It's the life of a true bookworm isn't it ;)
This was so interesting to see the difference between your book covers in the UK compared to the ones we have in the US🤔😍
Oh I do love some of the US covers - sundial by Catriona Ward I prefer in US but lessons in Chemistry I prefer UK one
"I used to be indecisive but now I am not quite sure!" Tommy Cooper.
😂
🤣
Believe it or not, I’ve never read a book by Kristin Hannah so when you talked about “The Great Alone,” I checked to see if it’s in my library. There are 500 reserves on it even though it was published back in 2018! I think that might be proof that it’s a good read.
Thanks for the fun of watching you organize your bookshelves.😃
500 reserves!! Oooft, it is a gooooood read though!
So many good books!!! I have not yet purchased a paperback if I have the hard cover. I HAVE purchased the physical copy after listening to the audible because I must own a copy. I liked The Silent Patient. The Maidens I thought was just ok. OMG- a SIGNED copy of The Handmaiden’s Tale ❤❤❤❤❤
I do that too with kindle or audiobooks I really enjoy. The paperback tbf I picked up at a charity shop so I wouldn’t normally buy new if I had it in hardback
I’m just going to bed so I’ll check back in in about 10 hours!❤🇨🇦
Nighty night 😴
Totally related to your angst over getting started on this task, not for bookshelves but other stuff, so that was good to watch. I moved house about six weeks ago and my books were the first thing to be unpacked after the kettle. After the initial organising I've had no urge to re organise, however in my last place I was tweaking on almost a daily basis. Indicative of my unhappiness before and my happiness now I think. Need to get my hands on Mary by Nat Cassidy, sounds great. Would love to find more menopausal main characters.
oh so you've been through way more upheaval than emptying two bookshelves, I hope you are settling into your new home. Mary sounds so good doesn't it?!
Im back ! Ok, so here’s a challenge for you! Please do a vlog of you reading your shelves! You have a lot of unread books there my friend! I feel the same about Crawdads! Finlay Donnavan book 3 was a dnf for me. It was like someone else wrote it! Art of Racing in the Rain was wonderful. Every time my dog sniffs my face I think I’ve got a tumour😂 funny not funny! Platform 5 was cute and cozy, for sure and her first book too! She got another coming out this summer, I believe.
That's a brilliant idea I think I might make that my mid week video select a bunch from my shelves for you guys to pick two that I need to read next month! You've read quite a few of the ones on my shelf too, probably more than me - ha ha ha!
OH clearing his throat and trying not to cough in the background ❤
Indeed!!
I’m reading The silent patient at the moment, very good so far xx
keep me posted on what you think!
Love a good bookshelf organization, your book collection is so cute and eclectic! I just did this recently too and it’s pretty daunting and kind of a pain but so nice to get it reorganized! Oh and I love Fredrik Backman too and have been slowly collecting all of his books 😍
Yay! Another Backman fan - what ones have you got?
It's good to have it organised but it was daunting to begin
with but glad i did it.
@@MeMyDogAndBooks yes, love his books! I have the Beartown series, Anxious People, Man Called Ove, Britt Marie Was Here, and the grandmother one with the long title 😂 so basically all of his full length novels!!
amazing - those are my goals. Britt-Marie isn't shouted about enough!
@@MeMyDogAndBooks yes!! They’re all thrifted or from little free libraries too which is fun. I actually have only read Beartown and Anxious People from him (and his novella) but I loved them so I definitely want to read more!
There are several books on your shelf that you haven’t yet read. You could select 10 of them, and ask us which one of those 10 that you should read. Just a thought.
Blooming great idea, that's a mid week video idea sorted, maybe get you to pick two for me to read next month!
That was fun (for us anyways). Ordered Nat Cassidy’s Mary as it caught my eye. Would like to know what you think of the Christina Dalcher book, I think it’s called The Sentence? I just read her book The Vox and liked it. I should just randomly shelve my TBR’s but I keep them separate and, at 49 books, it’s guilt inducing.
Oh I read the Vox and liked it too! Mary sounds awesome to me - thanks for watching!
