I’m so glad you enjoyed the Christina Henry book since I am developing a small mound of books by her. I need to give Maggie O’Farrell another try but her writing style might not be for me, for reasons you described.
One of my fave Maggie O’Farrell’s books is The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox! Oh I think you’ll love Henry’s books
I told you The Last Housewife was dark and disturbing! 😳😂 But yes, so good, glad you loved it!! Glasgow Boys sounds great, adding that to my TBR, and I’m interested in The Midnight Feast 😊 My favorites from June were Seven Days in June, Piranesi, and Words of Radiance, but I loved everything I read in June!!
It took me by surprise but I loved Housewife. Glasgow Boys is just lovely. Oh I liked seven days in June but haven’t read the others !
@@MeMyDogAndBooks for sure!! Oh you need to read Piranesi! What a unique book. It was a bit slow for me at first but once I got into it I didn’t want to put it down and was so intrigued! Loved it.
noted! my friend lent me her copy so i'll bump it up my list.
@@MeMyDogAndBooks yay!! 😀
Oh no! another groupie t shirt to buy 😂
Joanie clothing 😉
😎📚👍
Great haul. Like the sound or Glasgow Boys. Congratulations in making it through a video without yawning 😂
Well spotted on the no yawn 🥱 front!
Honestly thought Lucy was a teddy until she moved lol.
Thanks for bringing Angela Saini (author of "Inferior") to our attention. I see another book of hers that sounds very interesting - “The Patriarchs: The Origins of Inequality” in which Saini explores the roots of what we call patriarchy, uncovering a complex history of how it first became embedded in societies and spread across the globe from prehistory into the present. I enjoyed “The Age of Magical Overthinking” by Amanda Montell too. Patti has opinions!🐕
Patti always has opinions! And I defo want to read The Patriarchs too 😀 thanks for watching
