  • On October 30th, 2022 at Big Texas Comic Con I had a one on one sit down conversation with Martial Artist, Actor, Entrepreneur, Prankster, Jason David Frank best known for his character the Green Ranger in The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on Fox Kids broadcast.
Sadly, JDF is no longer with us. He will be missed and always loved. Without knowing the character Tommy Oliver was one of my first characters I was a fan of. Growing up with not much to do I would binge watch Fox Kids after school. I believe a lot of my up bringing had to do with shows like Batman, X-men, The Tick, Eek! The Cat, etc… had a lot to do with my love for comic conventions, movies, and comic books.
This video was so hard to edit and get finished, after a few conversation with friends and how I should release this interview. I finally decided to just share here on CZcams so fans may see their hero one last time. We had a serious talk about Mental Health and how he deals with it.
By the end of our conversation, I had left leveled up, like the Green Ranger himself reenergized me so I could go back out there and help spread the good word. Then on that Sunday morning of November 20th, I hear that JDF is no longer with us. I was heartbroken. Every time I was ready to edit this video I would get sad and just shut my laptop and focus on something else.
It wasn’t till a few friends that truly asked me to please get this interview out so people can see JDF again. Thanks to those conversations I was able to get this video finished.
Side Note: I am not a journalist or interviewer or some guy that works at a big tv studio network that ask the big questions. I am just a fan that was able to spend some time with one of his childhood role models and have an open discussion about a serious topic. I like to learn from people and who better than JDF himself. Thank you for taking this time to read what this interview is all about.
Mental Health is a serious topic that should not be neglected. You can always work on yourself. It’s never too late. A conversation with a friend or stranger about your well being is ok. You are ok. I will talk to y’all later. Take care.

Such a kind hearted man. I know everyone says they were so loving when someone passes away but, this man was a real one and the world lost a beautiful soul when he left this world. Rest easy and God bless jason david frank, thankyou for all the love and time and thought you gave to us all. 🙏✝️🔥❤️

    He looks so tired 😢

This interview happened three weeks prior to JDF’s unexpected suicide. Sad to hear about his death since he was a brave Power Ranger and wonderful human being on this planet. Two more days until we reach the first anniversary of JDF’s death. :( RIP JDF (1973-2022) 💚🤍

I've met JDF several times and watched a lot of his interviews over the years. This interview was the most enjoyable to watch. It was apparent JDF had a lot on his mind and you did an excellent job allowing him the latitude to speak freely in a non-judgmental environment. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for taking the time and effort to edit and upload this, especially in light of Jason David Frank's recent and tragic passing. JDF is so raw, so real, and so human in this interview-moreso than in any other one I've seen him give over the last 29 years. That speaks to your talents as an interviewer and as a genuine fan of his work, and where he was mentally and emotionally at that time, where he felt comfortable sharing things with the fanbase that he might not have only a few years ago. This man was a childhood hero to millions of us, and having this profound look into his head and heart at this one particular moment in time is priceless, poignant, and timely. Again, thank you. And God rest his soul.

Suicide dosent end the chances of life getting worse, It eliminates the possibility of it ever getting any better. RIP JDF you were my Hero and alot of our Heroes!! =(

Thank you so much for this. I needed this today. I miss JDF a lot. I had the pleasure of meeting him so many times, and he was always the nicest, most down to earth people that I have ever met. Mental health is something I've fought with all my life. I'll be 43 this year, and my mental health issues will never go away, but I find things to do with my time to take my mind away from it.

This is definitely a clear sign that even the most wise and experienced people can still be struggling with mental health more than you could ever perceive. His voice carried FAR and this is such a strong interview, just hits so damn hard... We lost one of the best.

It hurts me when Stan Lee and Kevin Conroy passed away, but this one hurts me the most because he's my childhood hero, my favourite Power Ranger, my favourite Sixth Ranger, and i still miss him to this day.
