I thought it was more of an American Kamen Rider then it looked like Power Rangers and now I'm not sure WHAT it is.
Well in this trailer do they not show the red ,yellow and purple rangers giving him the crystals to transform him from the green into the white ranger ? Only dif I can see is that they just didn't use the word power rangers other than that it's pretty upfront about being a power ranger movie.. I am having trouble remembering was Eric or Eric Reed his name on rhe show back in the day ?

I think he knew he did his thang already the best he could in this world and sometimes in life the world or even the people around you can change and can push you too depression and anxiety level uncontrollable too the point of Insanity pushed to a corner of a price might have too pay of being a superstar while sporting a new look where they test ya where who knows that type of person can't no longer be dealt with carrying the load for solong as we all human and eventually breakdown of nomore hope too that type of reality of living in fear factors simply can't handle it or recover anymore. He said he putted EVERYTHING on this movie, every feeling, every anger and pain, every sadness....So yeah, now hear his lines have another context... I didnt know much about his career (out MMPR) but i think he was a great and wise man, his death hit me really hard, if he did it what he did, it was cuz he had a really bad time.... At least for me, it showed me that even the famous are not excluded from the depression, sometimes we see them as people who have everything, money, status, big houses beautiful couples or whatever, but they are just humans as all of us...
I have been passing by depression too and.... I just would liked to be with him when that happened and tell him how many people was with him, tell him that he wasnt alone.
He was my hero on TV and now i think i would liked to follow him across his career time, cuz he was a hero in real life too.

Jason David Frank did so much for us. Power Rangers, his friends and us his fans. Now it's time for us to do something for him by seeing this movie he put his heart and soul into as our way of thanking him. My girlfriend and I actually got to see him he had a heart of gold.

Gone too soon but he will never be forgotten. I've mourned many celebrities but this one hit differently. The news of his passing shook me and I have not been the same since.
RIP to Jason David Frank, he was one of the reasons why I had started martial arts, I had an injury that set me back but I'm definitely going to get back into martial arts and get stronger and better than I was before. He gave hope and strength to so many of us fans, I really do hope that this movie is able to come out in theaters still. If we're able to get this movie I'll definitely be going opening day myself.

I agree! I can't remember his name but the actor playing the Master/trainer/sensei (I'm guessing) is someone I've seen in a ton of low budget or just not mainstream stuff and always really liked his acting.

If there are any younger folks reading this, one day you'll come to recognize that you CAN absolutely love people that you have never even had the pleasure of meeting as if they were your own family. To me, Jason David Frank will always be like the cool big brother of an entire generation. I can remember the first time I ever saw this man. I was 9 years old and like every other kid in what felt like the entire universe, I was into the power rangers. I saw him and I think he had to be the first time I ever thought a bad guy was cool. His long hair. Just the fact that he knew karate. And above everything else, now there is a new ranger... and he's green... and he has his own Dragonzord 🥲 And then we grew up and found out that he was just a guy with an acting career... except unlike so many other celebrities that have amazing lives because we want to live the world through what they do, Jason actually gave a fuck about us. Ive seen the video where he asks the fans to stop saying "you hear this a million times but..." , because he wanted EVERYONE to be able to express themselves because he understood what a life changing thing it could be to meet your hero and walk away feeling like you ruined their day. He wanted all of us to be ok.
I'm STILL bawling my eyes out like a kid as im typing this like an idiot 😂 But I just felt the need to express something because you so often hear phrases like "the world is emptier because (PICK A NAME) isn't here anymore". And I always thought that it was just a formality thing to say- like offering your condolences or saying "I'm sorry for your loss". But I actually know what that feels like now. JDF's dialogue in the beginning is a crusher after the way he ended up going out. It's a shame as though he was living that characters downfalls in his mind.
Either way, this movie really looks motion picture quality. I wish a trailer would be released on t.v. with a theater date put in place. Not to use his loss to sell tickets but I guarantee this would sell a fair amount. Definitely make more than enough to cover the production budget. I'd definitely pay to see it in theaters and I'd enjoy doing so. Would be great to see JDF go out on the big screen in style.

I was never what you would call a Power Rangers fan, but I caught an episode or two and saw the original movie. Depression is no joke. Alot of times the people that you think are the most at peace or always have a smile are the people that need love the most. Take a chance and show compassion and love to other people. Everyone deserves those things. You could help save someone who needs it.

Wow. Didn't even know my childhood hero passed away or that he was struggling with those thoughts and emotions. Such a big part of who I am. Even now, my last Halloween costume was of him. Makes me feel even worse because I've been going through my own depression and selfish thoughts. Have to keep pushing for my family and get through my mental struggles. God bless him and anyone else that's going through the same.
