Glad to see Amy is doing ok since JDF’s passing. I want the PR fans to see her as a Filmmaker and not just everyone’s Childhood crush. I don’t blame her if she wants to distance herself from PR. I’d wished JDF did it earlier and focus on his true passions…I know he LOVED his fans more than anyone I’ve ever seen at a Con.

When you're in on high demand and people coming at you. It's very hard to get away from a franchise you worked on. JDF tried in the past to move foward from Power Rangers in the past it was hard for people to see past Tommy Oilver. He tried to develop projects away from PR. None of them went beyond discussions over budget issues or whatever. JDF loved being a ranger but he didn't care for the politics behind working on PR.
She is aged like fine wine. Older but still gorgeous.
She’ll be 53 in a couple of weeks. Her joining the 55 club in a couple of years will be truly strange.

“Perfect Body” is actually the second time I saw Amy Jo as an actress other then Power Rangers. It was shown to me in High School Health Education during our unit on eating disorders! Will never forget it.

Amy Jo Johnson's Pink Ranger and portrayal of Kimberly Hart was so genuine and perfect for the character and when she morphs and says "TERRORDACTYL!!!" It's so awesome and said with passion and purpose I get pumped still!! I'm actually watching MMPR The Movie right now. Love her and really miss Jason and Thuy. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers set the standard and are the greatest Rangers ever. Wow... I've had a crush on Amy Jo Johnson for decades now loll

Amy Jo Johnson's Rita impression alone was epic. I loved that episode where Kimberly pretended to be under Goldar's spell and overplayed it so that the goons would let her go. But I also really like when her actress adds subtle touches to scenes as well. I really liked her reaction to the zords being totaled in Season 3. She also had a nice moment in "The Green Dream" when Kimberly screamed and clutched Zack's wrist in fear when Tommy betrayed them and sadistically swung the Sword of Power at them in the Command Center. The others, save Zack/WJ, just stood there and didn't even react.
And now, Amy Jo is writing a Power Rangers comic. I love that she's doing this for the fans, and that she genuinely wants to revisit the characters.
I feel sorry for her, she was devastated when jason david frank died.
To the autistic fan and the trans fan who went up to ask Amy questions, you are both awesome and I hope you keep being genuinely yourselves!

i just looked it up in 1994 was the unversal stuidos and 1996 was when hawii episode aired in 1996.
I would see her on TV when I was a boy in the 90s. I love power rangers.
Remember when Amy Jo Johnson was the first pink ranger. I just finished writing my own superhero book called Super Troopers and hopefully I will have it published.

Why isn't she ever in group panels with the other members? She's always alone or was with JDF.
I always found that strange too. She also appears sometimes with David Yost but other than that she seems to isolate herself from the other Rangers.
I know some Rangers personally. Amy almost doesn’t want to anything PR related. She wants to present herself as a director. How many PR fans know about her work outside of PR? JDF wanted to do the same thing with White Dragon. I’ll be honest, I’d wished he did retired from PR earlier.
Lately Amy has been reconnecting with other Rangers, Johnny Yong Bosch told me that at a Con, he barely kept in touch with her.
maybe she just does the gigs she's comfortable with doing. im sure she has a life also besides it

The truth is she doesn’t know them that well or isn’t close with them. She was closest with JDF and David Yost only.

Well, that’s not easy for everybody. I know I can’t stand him right and get over it so people can’t say it. I have a learners abilities sometimes saying certain things or surnames is hard for me not easy for everybody I mean I had a raging bless your problem you said they were having issue with it not a big deal do you know who they’re talking about?
It’s sad that Thuy is deceased. It would be nice if she could talk to us publicly now.

She had a bad problem with a stalker and for years she wouldn’t do public appearances out of fear.
Did this happen to her back in the 90s? Patricia Ja Lee of In Space dealt with a similar incident as well and that's why she has completely sworn off public appearances for the past 15 plus years or more, she has completely avoided the public since then

True, I know some Con promoters personally, like Scott Zemiler who runs Power Morphicon. He told me JDF wanted to be the only Ranger guest at Cons. Amy can be like that too. But she’s loosen up since JDF died.
