I was devastated when Kimberly left the show, and I just wanted tommy to miss Kimberly and get her back. Yes, I understand why she left, but they were my absolute favorite.
Well, technically, he did, but it was in comics & it was in a timeline where Tommy Oliver stays evil, rechristens himself Lord Drakken, kills mentor/surrogate mother figure Rita Repulsa (doing so well before she could even reform to become the Mystic Mother of the Mystic Force Rangers), kills the good counterpart of himself that surprisingly appeared in his reality (White VS Green Ranger fight, with evil Green winning), kills several Rangers from across multiple incarnations & timelines, combines Alpha 5 & Finster into one being then quickly murders him when he starts showing concern for his master's deteriorating health due to the waning Green Ranger powers depleting & the pure White Ranger power not listening to him because of his evil heart (especially once he decapitates talking sword Saba), is elated to know prime Zordon dies in the climax of the "Countdown to Destruction" plot from _Power Rangers In Space_ meanwhile he thinks he's killed his timeline's Zordon (in reality, Lord Drakken's alternate universe Zordon is caught in a temporal time warp somewhere in between divergent, merging realities & talks to his OG self, who somehow was able to cross realities to a time ahead of the events of "Countdown to Destruction" & witness through his alternate universe counterpart's account the danger Tommy Oliver wrought as Lord Drakken), and basically brainwashes his reality's Kimberly Hart into being his personal assassin appropriately named The Ranger Slayer, except Kimberly's secretly a double agent covertly working behind Lord Drakken's back to support the good guys, including other nobler versions of Tommy Oliver from across the Morphin' Grid who've not become Lord Drakken & her prime counterpart who had split from Tommy following actress Amy Jo Johnson's departure from the show in season 3.

Amy jo is still looking good to this day more than 20 years later. I miss the original power rangers. It was never the same since they all left and it was a different cast every year since then.

I need a dvd set with commentary tracks of JDF, Amy Jo, and the other original rangers. I'd pay for that.
They should do this for the 30th anniversary. Release a 30th anniversary dvd/blu-ray set that features cast commentaries. They don't even all have to be in the same room together doing the commentaries, so many commentaries on movies are done with the cast apart, but watching the movie discussing it over skype or whatever. It wouldn't even have to be all the episodes, it could just be key episodes of the first 3 seasons, talking about behind the scenes things, reactions seeing it after all these years, etc.

Jason came to our Martial Art school back during the power ranger days. there are some videos of him teaching on our channel. I'm excited to see bloodshot. I also got to train with JDF at numerous EFC and other conventions.
I used to watch his power ranger karate tapes where he taught self defense stuff.

I got to meet Jason David Frank when he was in Ashland Kentucky a few years ago, but I never got to meet Amy Jo Johnson! She was my favorite girl ranger when I was a kid. In fact, she was the only ranger toy that I had that you could press her belt and go from Amy Jo to Power Ranger! I'd love if she would visit here!

In one of his interviews, he was talking about heath, ledger, and his suicide, how getting deep in a real commit mess up with your psyche he said white dragon, drained everything out of him.. R.I.P

The talk of learning some layman's gymnastics reminds me of when (in college) I had an assignment to create illustrations from photographic references. I was like "Okay, superheroes!". Yes, granted that the photos had to include masks. A friend and I (she had done gymnastics in high school and the prior year of college), took photos while posing on single story architectural structures, and bursting out of a vintage phone booth, and then she taught me how to vault over walls and couches!! Over the years, I just sharpened that skill, and vaulted over things when I got bored (I have long legs, which can make it more tricky). Most of the time, I had to approach at an angle, and pivot my wrist while grabbing the obstacle. With practice, I was able to go over it without hands (just lifting my legs and titling my core), and while I could never hit the jump directly, I was able to reduce the angle some.

These two are great. Lots of fun.
I watched this, and while I appreciate that Amy Jo is making an effort to engage with fans... when it comes to Power Rangers, I feel like she is offering virtually 0 insight into anything. You listen to JDF talk, and he's obviously made a nice long career out of power rangers, and I'd imagine a huge source of his income/life comes from doing these types of shows, and he's super into it, and is engaging, and genuinely wants to be there. Amy is basically answering every question with "Gosh, that was so long ago, did we even do that?" Which is fine... but if you're a fan trying to gain insight into a portion of someone's early career, isn't particularly engaging.
Yeah all her money comes from 🇨🇦. She huge THERE. Her music, movie's and tv shows are up there and not here in the 🇺🇸.plus power Rangers caused her first divorce.

In all fairness, it's a job to her. If you asked me details about my first major job I wouldn't be able to contribute too much either. It was fun having her ask Jason questions,"do you remember..." She's so chill it's just another day for her.
From what I can remember Tommy & Katherine never kissed. They held hands and hugged but not to my knowledge did the characters ever kissed.

Power ranger stuff keeps popping up on my feed. I see comments about how he's a narcissist and I see it now. Austin St John is way more enjoyable to watch
I still prefer the original series over the movie, but I didn't think the movie was that bad. Maybe its better there won't be sequels though, because the film did deviate from the original series.
A lot of movies based off a TV franchise deviate from the main arch. For instance, South Park: Bigger, Badder and Uncut.
Think the original set of rangers knew the score how to really work as a team effectively, as it evolved there was more emphasis on personalities rather than team playing which was what they could do anyway. Amy jo johnsons contributions to MMPR were second to none.

No she turned into a cat the little boy in turbo was a kid who turned into. An adult when he morphed
Raghu is right, Amber, and so are you. Cathrine used to be able to turn into a cat when she was Rita's servant. By the time the rangers were turned into kids for several episodes, Kimberly wasn't part of the team anymore. It was Cat who was portraying the pink ranger by then.

Can you teach me how to do backflips because I can't do it anymore I could do it no cartwheel and hand stand in gymnastics I ever got close to do that but I pulled my back out in 2016 and I'm kind of out of shape has I gain 185 ton I am scares weights throw balance backflips and cartwheels off cuz I can't do it on flat grass it has to be on the hill which is weird because it never affected my martial arts reflex training before

No because JDF got married and had children really young. I believe he was 18 or 19. David Yost and Amy have said that they used to babysit his kids so he and his then-wife could go on dates.
He couldn’t have been 18 or 19 he was on mighty Morphin when he was 20 and he stayed on power rangers for like 4 and half years at least so he had to be older then that but I love power rangers and it’s nice to know that he still keeps in touch with the original cast after all these years I would love to see something with all 5 of the original cast again but that can’t happen sadly R.I.P Thuy thrang the original yellow ranger ❤️❤️
