    Can the brightness be changed to values that aren't selectable on those tabs?
    Can I put it to 15 or 20%?

    I like that little delayed quip at the end....(Not buying a CM-2) You Ba@*#d. Some of us had no choice. Haha. Except.. The day my CM-2 landed on the doorstep I get an email saying.. We have a limited supply of the old model still for sale. Well thank you very much VP :-( I would have preferred the original version....
    There is also added functionality of the LED buttons. (with 20200204 software and CM2 at least) While messing around. I found I can choose a colour and brightness for each LED. Which is useful. I'm searching to see if there is a way to change the LED colour or brightness depending on if the button is On or Off.

    I've got my CM-3 throttle set in no mode and I'm using it the same way that you do (with Joystick Gremlin). Is there a way to use B1-B6 as a on-off toggle and use the LEDs as indicators to that status with either the light off for off status or one color (say red) for off and another (green) for on?

      @supertopsecret5485 Před 2 lety +2

      Yes I managed to do that tonight - Go to LED, in ON Board RGB LED, set them all to ie: GREEN then, at the bottom - go to Simple LED's indication - There are 8 fields for entry (You'll use 6 out of 8 for this). B1-B6 = Input# 49 to 54. First line could look like ie: 49 - TGL (toggle) - Click "LED Disabled/Click to...", Click the drop down menu in the color POP UP, choose On Board #1 (#1 thru 6 for what YOU want) click the color you want to close the menu (ie RED). Save to VPC etc. Now B1 will light up default GREEN, when you press it, it will switch to RED until you press again for it to return to default color (GREEN)

    Not sure if you have had any software updates, but it looks very different now from yours maybe it's because I have got a cm3 but, this video won't help me much with what I am looking for, hopefully you'll update the video! TNX anyway.

    Does anyone know if they (Virpil) or someone who has written a mod have come up with a way to program the LED's individually ? So in other words, I want just one LED to control the HOOK in an F18 for example for the hook down state of green, and then that same button turns red when depressed for Hook UP state. So one button doing two colors depending on the state of the HOOK in the F18. I'm not picky, how about two different LED buttons, one would be HOOK UP as Red when ON (lit), and below it another LED button light would be HOOK DOWN GREEN. Perhaps someone has written something, perhaps SPAD.NEXT or another program or a custom written mod. But ideally, VIRPIL will write something so the firmware gets updated and then suddenly we get to control each and every light with anything we want to do!!!!!! ANY HELP FROM ANYONE THAT HAS FIGURED THIS OUT WOULD BE SUPREMLEY Appreciated!!!!!

      I posted a similar question in another video. I want individual buttons to light up & go out when pressing the button to turn on a function and then pressing again to turn off the function (and the light). So far it seems like the lights are either all on or all off. But despite my low tech skills if I find something helpful I’ll comment here again

      @@jcjammer8972 thanks, i have tinkered with the Virpil LED Tool (i don't even think it's an official release yet) but it's like having to write a program that you know will change once another update or patch comes out for DCS or MS2020..... requires things like SPAD NExT and all kinds of variable chasing , etc.....
