Thank you for the fantastic tutorial! It was incredibly clear and helpful. I have a MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the axis curves with a button. Specifically, I’d like to set up two throttle modes: one where 0% corresponds to 0 and 100% to 100, and another where 0% corresponds to -50 and 100% to 50. Ideally, I’d be able to switch between these modes by pressing a button. Thanks again for your help!

If virpil recommends removing those bolts then why are they even there? :) I just got a grip from them and its DOA but I can't even tell if its plugged into the base correctly and if I do get it screwed on its DEAD. Do I have to configure it first? or something?

Hello there, I´m using the VPC Rotor Plus TCS. How did you set the increasing the RPM with your throttle twist on your collective? I can use my collective normally, but I am not able to set increasing/decreasing RPM with my collective. Thanks in advance 🙂

Mine doesn't work anymore either. But it was working this Morning. Now the LED on the Hawk 60 lights up briefly and Windows reports a USB error. 😞

Thanks for making this. I used PG44A grease instead of 767A, works like a charm. When disassembling I had an issue with the second spider leg rod. It must have been loctited really well because I couldn’t get it to budge at all. What I instead did was I unscrewed the top plate from the internals and lifted it as far up to the connector as possible which allowed the rear clutch arm the lift a lot higher which because of its design created a little more space between it and the plastic disc. Then I rotated the plastic clutch disc so that the 45° cut was where the clutch arms are intersecting at said spider leg rod., to alleviate any pinching points. From there it was possible to remove it without taking off the rod. Could also work on the other clutch as well! The clutch design with the thin groves is a much more capable design than what I have seen from my Gunfighter MK3, too bad Virpil doesent ship it with dampening grease preapplied.

All the buttons work on here but when I try to map they keys on star citizen nothing happens do you know why ?

Ok, this is great for peeps with throttles. But what about us space sim guys running two alpha constellations? Got a Z extension, and i am using it as a throttle.

Was/is the controller connected by BT or wired?

The damping force is proportional to the velocity. Diagonal velocity magnitude is larger than the two x and y components. But not by much. The stair motion ultimately achieves the same diagonal motion. So you are not supposed to lose any degree of freedom here. I would encourage you not to think about it too much and try to focus on the goal. If the damping force is too much, reduce the clutches a bit. This stair motion is encouraged by how the two axes cams are designed, a true universal joint will have a gamble, ball socket, which will give you better smoothness.

I have a 250 mm extension on my constellation Alpha how do I increase or decrease the range on movement or the saturation would that be with the dead zone beginning and end

thank you (really, this is really helpfull) for providing information the product provider was not able to provide for something that should not have even been necessary to provide for an update about a "merge install" should have , well "merged" I a few decades, looking back, maybe someone daringly will ask if random chuckles were to be heard at some point en suite a purely imagined slight head movement from left to right and back in repetition :)

Great tutorial as ever.....the Virpil AH64 grip's hat has loads of movement on the axis, for anyone mapping that to the real Apaches cursor up/down/left/right in DCS.....I'd recommend setting the values to 0-5% and 95-100% otherwise its too easy to hit 2 x button presses when moving the stick. 👍

how are you spawning units in game? I thought that stuff could only be done in mission editor.

Could this be a method for XP12/FCU Autopilot Toggle between Selected and Managed Modes for Rotary Switches E1 and É2 (press to latch)? I have Virpil CM3 Throttle E1 and E2 rotaties bound to HDG +/- and SPD +/+ (on a Toliss A321Neo Airbus) but the mode change toggle doesnt seem to work as the presses are not latching I want the 2 buttons E1=61 and E2=64 to be LATCHED Or you you have a better suggestion? what about vertical and horizontal scrolling?

If the base cannot be seen by the PC, and assuming the cable is working, would this resolove the issue? I have this on 3 devices, all cannot be detected by the computer, and its the same on my laptop as well
