Park and National Palace of Pena | Sintra, Portugal

Palácio da Pena (Pena Palace) is by far one of the best sites in all of Portugal. Since moving here we've visited the palace and national park four times and it never gets old. Definitely check it out if you are in Lisbon.

Between Lisbon and Sintra there's another Palace, in Queluz (a suburban town with some 60 000 people), very beautifull, with a pretty garden. Use the train, then walk about 1 km.
