Yeah, now that I have watched further, the Figure 4 Deadfall Trap came in an Apocabox, same packaging, but with a video link for subscribers, hosted/instructed by Creek Stewart.
I was an army ranger in the 80s so i love when you talk about back in the old days lol.i love your channel keep doing what you do.
Just wanted to say that, I'm from the UK and have never done any military service, but in my opinion any soldier has probably the hardest job of all; it's not stated, but any fool knows that, in essence, you're on duty 24/7! If there is any kind of emergency you have to be there whether you like it or not!
I'll bet even your Father would say, in Vietnam, he slept with one eye open?

I spent time in a Reserve MP unit. Anyone who tells i[you it is ONLY one weekend a month and two weeks during the summer is either dumb or lying. The Reserve and Guard are some hard working MFs!
After I'm finished my degree I'm going full time for a bit. Living in Canada the most I do is personal relations in other countries, but I figure its a great way to travel the world and show my appreciation for my country. I may not be in the USA, but I have nothing but respect for the US armed forces

Lol. My wife is in the Air Force and she works at least 45 hours a week, has to spend time working on military projects at home, and is expected to take part in community volunteer events as well as meet education requirements. The military is way more than a typical full-time job. On the other hand, I used to drive a truck, and even though I usually worked 70 hours a week, I could talk to my friends all day on the phone using a hands free device so I'm not sure what that viewer is talking about.

New thing Fubar String thing is new to me too, look useful and easy for storage...
Omfg this is the best 1 yet I saw it and u was like "Wow, that's a good looking box, I like it. Since I like it, I know he will like it."
It's a ok lock pick set it won't get you in to a lot of high security locks, but will get you in to most American doors, I've used befor and carry the same set in my wallet

Master locks are usually really easy to pick, most of the time you can shim or rake them.

Knives that make you go ooh, that last one was definitely one of those knives in my opinion.
I can't swear to how well it actually holds up, but it sure feels good to hold, you know?

That FUBAR deal looks like Mule Tape...Mule tape is super cheap and is around 4.5k lbs tensile strength. Back in the day, they used to use that mule tape on the paletized gear shipments to secure loads not sure if they are still using it though, that was about 20 odd years ago.
Have you done a review on kolourco knives yet?
Also what would you recomend for cleaning the rust that is trying to form on a saber i bought?
When I want to clean rust off a blade I use WD40 and some very fine steel wool, or a green scrubby pad from 3M. It works pretty well unless the metal is really badly corroded.

The Fubar string....I subscribe to Apocabox, as I'm in Canada, and don't need some of the firearms stuff most boxes offer; but the instruction sheet you got with the Fubar string....I've received the exact same "hand drawn", "photocopied" instructions with Apocabox, for at least 4 items over 2 years. Just FYI, it's quite likely a sweet deal going on with the box providers however, having said that, none of these lo-fi/old school items have let me down. Keep the faith, hold the line.

That Dogfish knife is awesome. Not a bad box at all. Depending on what that M48 knife is made from it will take a nasty edge. My M48 Destroyer tomahawk took a shaving edge no problem. You should post a video on that FUBAR string when you get more info on it. I don't know about my fellow viewers here but I'd be really curious to hear what you find out about it
One of my best friends has been a SERE instructor for about 12 years so this weekend I'm going to get together and see what his take is on it and mess with some. I'll let you know what the outcome is.

Nice box. Mines stuck in Georgia. I emailed today and they said the hurricanes have fedex backed up. It's been at the fedex facility since the 15th.
shouldn’t larger blades have some wobble? To make it less brittle? That’s for swords and dirks at least...
It depends on the length and thickness and material. Some blades have natural give when struck, but that doesn't mean you should be able to bend them with manual pressure. A brittle blade has as much to do with bad tempering as it does with the hardness of the steel. If you were to take a Scottish Claymore you wouldn't be able to bend it with your hands at all. But if you watched the blade in slow motion during combat it would give slightly as it struck a target. The "wiggle" factor is very specific to the elements of steel type, blade design, thickness, and heat treat.

The M48 is damn cool looking but I think the look is most of the appeal. As for the other knife, 9.99, you get what you pay for. Lack of a rigid sheathe a wobbly blade is a deal breaker for me.
Outside of that, and I would like the cases of the matches to be screw on, this box was pretty much a win. I definitely need to get myself a saw like that.

Well man thank you so much I really means a lot brother I appreciate it be careful with the 550 cord I actually bought some that was from China and it's definitely not the same quality as the US 550 cord that's why it was so much cheaper LOL great video as always brother and I'm definitely going to try to get them scissors I remember putting that stuff on my dad's boots for him as a kid and I could definitely use that bag as a first aid pack or a good Tinder pouch cuz it looks like it kind of has like a rubber lining or watertight lining and I'm definitely curious to know about that Fubar string
Hey, Doc, I know a thing or two about lockpicking, it's one of my hobbies. The lockpick set looks pretty good in my opinion, but you don't really need much in the way of padlocks, a bobby pin and screwdriver would actually be good for those.

Being a veteran I can say the Military is more then a full time job what a clown. Good vid. Looked like best items came out of the lower levels. That last knife is horrid and novelty looking. Though for sure you were gonna rip that one up lol
I might do a whole separate video on it. I really didn't get a chance to mess with it. It was just hot as money balls out. I'm not sure how I feel about a cast steel knife, and I don't think I've ever had 2Cr13 steel before.

Deplorable Ed when I was in high school and for two years after graduating I was a land pirate with my brother and a few others and learned you can't live like that and not get caught eventually..

Good grades and a solid education will open a lot of doors to different options once you're in. Even better, take a different route than I did, do college and ROTC, and go in with some shiny gold bars on your shoulder.
