I love these showcase videos. Sometimes all I want to see at a miniatures channel is the history of the hobbyist at the other side.
Awesome crimson fists, love the blue!!
Thankyou, I feel the same way, always nice to see an insight into peoples collections! 😊
Really liked this video! As Rush noted below, it's nice seeing what someone's done outside the context of their channel. Where they've come from, where they've gone, the pieces that stand out. Also, ditto on the crimson fists
Thankyou so much! I feel the same way about seeing the history of peoples collections, and why they like certain miniatures. Plus these videos are alot of fun to make because it lets me go on a nice nostalgic trip too! 😃
@@TheHobbyGrotto No doubt! Definitely makes me want to go find some of my own.
Though I gotta admit. As much as I want to keep all of my old minis as-are, I also want to repaint some of them. After all, when am I going to have another chance to paint a pewter Kasrkin? xD
It's definitely a temptation, and I do repaint old minis as well as paint strip them and completely start again. But the ones that are special you know, and they must be treasured 😊
@@TheHobbyGrotto Makes sense! I did strip one I regret, so I'll be more selective going forward. Don't regret repainting my partially completed Chimera and Hellhound though. Kitbashed them a bit too to make up for the parts lost over the years.
Yeah, partially painted is much easier haha, I think it's important to keep early work but you don't have to go overboard! I find paint stripping very satisfying so I definitely have to restrain myself sometimes 🤣
Lovely stuff
Glad you liked it! 😁
Your production quality is insane. Keep these videos coming!
Thankyou so much! 😊 I have alot more coming!
@@TheHobbyGrotto keep them all coming please! I am starting a Perry’s miniature English army and your video on painting metals helped a bunch!
I have a bunch of Perry minis, they're great!
@@TheHobbyGrotto I would love to see how you paint them up! I admit I struggle with preparing myself to paint them!
I've always loved the Perry sculpts, ever since their early Warhammer Fantasy days. I actually bought a bunch of Agincourt French Infantry to use as Men At Arms in my Bretonnian army because the original (Perry) sculpts are so expensive. I also got some of the Agincourt Mounted Knights and found you could make really good mounted squires with them. The horses are slightly smaller than the Bretonnian Warhorses, but its supposed to be like that in the lore 😁 I haven't painted any yet but I might do a video at some stage on how good the Perry minis are. Great value too!
the dark skin scout reminded me of Blade.
It's honestly a great head, that cyberpunk visor is rocking! This dude is definitely marine material 😁
@@TheHobbyGrotto big trouble in little china.
Man, I remember seeing those minis recently, so good!
oh i need to get my old mini out and take photos. imperial guard adn beaky and squats.
Yes! Plus Squats are coming back!
