Nice to see you back, Alex!
GUESS WHO'S BACK! 😆
Huzzah, new vid!
A nice, straightforward, and effective technique. Honestly, the technique and colours you used for the pre-glaze flesh would go well on a *lot* of models (e.g., eldar, psykers). It was just a really pleasant (if not-quite-healthy) looking palette.
A nice thing about using glazes is that you could also easily add extra variation by, e.g., glazing a few models' flesh in a different colour, or even leaving one or two un-glazed and hopping straight to the tongues/gore.
Thankyou! You nailed it, with glazes you can get variations in one colour by doing multiple layers or even use different colours! I might do a video on a variety of different skin tones achieved through glazing over a base like this, because its so quick and easy! 😊
@@TheHobbyGrotto Sounds like a great idea! Skin Tones, Chapter 2: Glaze Boogaloo!
Seriously though, I think it's a good idea.
Yeah, think of all the crazy skin colours you could do with glazes! 😁
I know I'm late with the comment, but today I saw this beautiful video and I wanted to thank you for giving me the inspiration for other models I will do in the future. Thank you 🤩
Thankyou so much for watching, it's always great to inspire painting ideas! 😊
Great video as always! Quick and easy to follow with awesome results, nice work man 👍🏻
Thanks for stopping by Dan, always appreciated! 😊
i like this painting guide. i can try and use this paint my nurglings that are on my death guard.
Definitely, the random little Nurglings on other models are some of the coolest! 😊
I'm getting some nurglings for my IW's and was thinking of making a painting tutorial. can i use some of your techniques here but use different paints and get a fundamentally different result? I don't want to rip you off.
It's just glazing really over a skin tone, you can get all different kinds of effects from those techniques so you're welcome to experiment 😁
In descripion you add info about microphone you used, camera etc but no paint names lol we all watching this to know what camera u used, not paints
The paint colors were listed in the beginning of the video and as he used them.
@@markcsalvesenjr1148 thanks :) but I probably not hurt author if I’ll add my little tip: please list paints in description. Its easier to find, easier to copy etc ;) peace
Thanks for watching! I'm always happy to provide the paints used in videos, I did actually used to list them in the chapters but it was a bit of work and I wasn't sure if anybody noticed with the list being in the video as well. But I do appreciate that sometimes text in the description can be easier for some things so I've updated the description here to include it. I'll try and update some of the other videos when I get the chance too 😀
