Welcome to Madeira.Great Video. I am from Madeira living in London. Do not even start with dentists here in UK it is a mission impossible to see one. If you ever need a hospital or medic i recommend the one near the market down town Funchal MMC Madeira Medical Center they are quick and private and speak English. I hope you enjoy your move.

Am coming to Madeira for a holiday in September hopefully with my children. I hope I fall in love with it and change our lives for the better. Good for you I lived in Spain and France before having children. Would love to be brave and do it again with my kids and give them a better life. You sharing true life and reality is brilliant. As an English-speaking person of color, are there are many other English-speaking folks who of color from countries like the US, Canada, and UK living in Madeira? I considering relocation, but I don't want to feel completely isolated. My Portuguese is pretty decent, due to being raised by Brazilian parents who inly spoke to me in Brazilian Portuguese growing up.
There's a few and I wouldn't move anywhere that didn't have diversity as it is super important to me! One of the biggeest barriers I've had is around language so you will be more than able to establish a local network
Why did you choose Madeira and what job did/do you do? I agree about living in a different country. Vital.

My pleasure 😊 tricky but maybe try Camara do Lobos - I find it's one of the cheaper main cities and by a beach, hope that helps!
Amazing video, I would recommend for you to visit Porto Santo for a day if you want to enjoy a little break with amazing beach, scenery and food Also you get to enjoy the ferry and seeing dolphins :)

@@Livinginmadeira Nice :) I would recommend doing this trial very early in the morning because it can be super hot after lunch time , I do this walk sometimes when I comeback to Madeira for holidays.

I'm so glad you are enjoying Portugal. I lived there a few years ago, but I found them extremely racist. I'm really surprised that so many black people are moving there. I guess I just had bad luck.

I am dreaming to already be living at Madeira !! but I know that near future things will get very messy ,New quantum financial system ,huge crash of banks ,stock market,realestate ,bonds ..US dollar no be world reserve currency ,,anyway ..nojobs ,AI tech plus New stellar quantum ,will killed 60% jobs expecially US and UK ..
