Vida is a straight boss!! She don’t give a shit about the place, its shelter and it serves the purpose. She’s happy to be in a beautiful place with you bud! I’d stay there and do exactly what you did. Set my tent up inside. Hell I’ve done it before working out of state when I was younger. We were working in Florida and the house was a shit hole with palmetto bugs everywhere!! We all set our tents up inside and kept them zipped up…😂
Vida is great. A good travel companion. Living on one’s own is a lot of work. Sharing the load makes time to do the things you want. Rare person in that lady for sure. Good video Scotty. Ride safe.

Thanks for sharing. My wife would stay with me in that place. We lived in a camper trailer for a year and a half in the woods with only a generator for power and used an outhouse. We heated our hot water on a propane stove. It was great.

I've done 850 back from Sturgis to go to work on Monday. Did 950 from DC on a Monday to go to work on the Tuesday after Memorial day. I have gone 1100 miles on the weekend to see my middle children in Ohio. Now at 70 after 15 miles I need a break. Go figgar.
Did u enjoy that kind of milage? I mean really enjoy it? Some do. But 15 minutes might be a little extreme in the opposite direction Everett 😊
@@scootertrampscotty No it was not enjoyable other than the fact that it was an accomplishment. I would never have rode that far if I didn't have to. Being retired and not having a limited amount of free time my daily mileage has been reduced significantly. I have issues with my right hip and it is not comfortable riding my bike for a long time now. Later Scotty..

Oh, i never go to Daytona unless im already in Florida because after the rally youre stuck in Florida for 2 months before its warm enough to go north. So, i probably wont be there this year 😔

I sure thought the nino on the Suzuki was flipping me off to start with !! It seems to me that the two chicas would be better served to take turns carrying both boards on one bike to balance them out, since they are going the same place. But that would be too much BS swapping mounts back and forth.

Thats personal preference. But i defiantly like having the windshild short enough to sit up and see over it when extra vision is needed, which is often.

@@scootertrampscotty - So I just monetized my little niche channel (not this one). It's small, I get maybe a hundred views per video, if that. I'm not an expert and rates vary (and yours will probably be higher) but I make about 1 penny per view. At this writing and a similar rate, you would make $56 on this video alone from YT if you clicked the monetize button. I am watching commercials on your videos anyway, you might as well get a cut off of your work. You're already toeing the line just to maintain this new channel so it's not really "selling out" (in my opinion, anyway). Using the same math, you left $700 on the table in the last 4 weeks of videos if you're not monetized.

Scotty this is just my humble opinion, but you're getting older man, let Vida buy a place like that for you guys, 6-8 months out of the year yall ride the bike and explore, then you have a home base, a place to relax for a bit and enjoy the community for a longer bit. Just my opinion.

I'm 72 and have had my share of near-death experiences. The only reason I am still alive is having the common sense to avoid going into places I might not walk out of. Most women I have known don't seem to have a sense of danger. Sometimes a little fear can be a good thing. I hope they make it, but they are going into part of the world where violence is common especially against women. @@scootertrampscotty
