    When I was in the Appalachian and Smokeys this past early October 2023 I rode all around the area. I came through Cherokee just before a parade was to start. People were parked in their chairs along the road and the children were playing waiting for the parade to start. I began waving at everyone seated as if I was the beginning of the parade. Some people waved back, but most just stared in wonderment. lol. Excellent Video.

    Hi Scotty, I love following your travels. I've just watched this latest video and the helicopter you looked inside appears to be a Westmorland Wessex, manufactured starting around 1959, it was used primarily by the British Royal Navy and as you said, it used a turbine engine. Hope this is of use. 👍

    I know it sucks to have to reload all your old stuff, but I am glad you are taking the time to do it. I like this kind of content a lot. I enjoyed seeing the difference in Cherokee and Gatlinburg. I haven't been up that way in a good while. The woke crybabies probably have a stroke seeing The Wig Wam Inn and The Totem Pole place. I was surprised the 1st time I went through there with my folks back in the early 80's, and can only imagine how often the Cherokee Nation gets told about how RACist they are for getting in on that sweet tourist trap money!.. Can you imagine how BALANCED that drive shaft for the back rotor on that chopper has to be to not shake your teeth out, being that long?? Wow! Thanks for climbing in there and showing that on camera. I would have thought it would be impossible to have a shaft that long spinning that fast, and thought they were all hydraulically operated or something. I look forward to the rest of the parts to this story. Take it real easy, Scotty boy!

    I've been through Cherokee and Gatlinburg at the height of tourist season. What a pain in the @ss. I live 10 miles from Ocean City Maryland and would rather ride through there instead.

    Hey Scotty, I have a 95 Road King I would like to put a hitch on and wire for pulling a trailer. I cant find any wiring kits for this year, or any info on how to do this. I am wondering if its possible to just splice in a 5pin flat connector to the existing wiring on the bike or will that overload the system? All the kits seem to have modules and power connections to avoid overloading the bikes system. If you have any knowledge on this, i would greatly appreciate you sharing with me. You are such an inspiration to so many, and for this I thank you. Have a wonderful and blessed day.

    • @scootertrampscotty
      @scootertrampscotty  Před 5 měsíci

      No! Manual trannys have always taken thicker oil. HD calls for an 75/90wt on all older bikes but says u can put 20/50 in your new bike. Guess u can but i wouldnt. I use 80/140, which they recomend for higher heat but, especially because synthetics are thinner, i use it always.
