- My book “Josie’s Journey” is a not a motorcycle book, but rather a spiritual tale told in the story of one man’s journey to freedom. However, Josie’s is not a flowery yarn, nor does it venture anywhere near the sterile cleanness or deep phycological thought of many spiritual books:

Lotta guys tell me theyre getting unsubscribed lately. Really glad u like the stuff enough to keep looking for it.
It's nice to see someone who pays attention to other people while having conversations and looks them in the eye! A sign of a genuine person.

Cant get enough of your videos... adventures and wisdom... as the riding season starts here in the northeast.... i gave you an open invitation a few yrs back and it still stands if you come through Connecticut.. youve got a place to camp.... ride safe out there....👍
Havent been up that way in a long time Yank. Always rains in Laconia.
@@scootertrampscotty ... understood... but if you do wander up here into the northeast/new england.... open door for ya... garage space.. tools, bike jack.... etc... looking foward to more adventures and more of your wisdom/outlook on life.... ride safe...👍👍
@@yankeeryder7430
Sounds like u got a nice setup
@@scootertrampscotty .. it works for me...just the basics... nothing fancy
I love how you share info with the young guy who is getting started. If he was smart, he would have hung with you for a while. I'm sure he could have picked up a ton of tricks of the trade you have learned from all your years on the road. Cheers.
Why would someone trash a perfectly fine tire? Great for Scotty but just would like to know
Of course I will watch your videos but I really enjoy seeing current adventures
Thayre never current. Takes to long to make these things and i usually get around to them later.
Great vlog ive always loved motorcycle camping since i was a kid and we used to ride our trail bikes into the woods with tents tied down and camp out to now at 62 years old
Scotty, love your vids and how frugal (cheap) you are - that's a good thing, lol, I am too. We're about same age, I ride also but day will come when riding days will come to an end. What are you planning to do when time comes, do you have a place to go to when it happens?
Awesome running into Juan. Seems like a good dude.
juan r0cks!!
😎🤙
Scotty Great video. As usual. Spring is breaking. Finally warmer weather. God Bless safe ridin rubber down

What was that jacket Scotty had on in the rain interviewing a young guy. Did it say Merlin?
It truth im not sure. Cristoph gave me that jacket. But i think youre right. Merlin. Its European.
I’m sure you’ve found a lens, but if not I have one I’ll send you.
❤
Always enjoy watching your videos.
As always, thank you 👍
Another fun filled adventure !
FYI. Do not sit at the drag strip with out hearing protection, especially at the launch area.
My ears are still fine. Its eyes that are starting to wane.
@@scootertrampscotty 70+ and my eyes 20/20 and 20/15, need readers. My hearing is going, spent almost 30 years working in a noisy machine shop that used hammer forges all day long. I even put in ear plugs when I riding a bike or a woman for a long time.
Well done Brother
Hey from Lubbock 👍🏻
Ride on brother
👋Great Video - awesome drag race 🤩 - TY for sharing some awesome memories w/ us - I always tell fellow bikers to check out ur channel - Real Knows Real 💯- Much RESPECT Bro - Godspeed!! 🇺🇸😎🏍️💨😎🇺🇸✌️
I have the exact same bike as Juan other than my handle bars. Same paint and all. Been a good bike since day one
Always wanted to do Sturgis and Daytona beach. Maybe one day before I die.
Great content Scotty, I’m a long time subscriber n your work is really entertaining , the editing is vastly improved since rebooting with CZcams, keep it rolling bro👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Loyd.
🤘😎🤘
I remember that vid. when that man in TX welded something on the bike and if Im not mistaken they was a older lady who had a big teddy bear on her bike doing a solo trip. didn't whone take you to diner with his family after work.
U have an excellent memory!
I had water getting into my headlights on my truck with them plastic headlights one time. I found out in a WalMart parking lot when the bulb blew in one. I called my pop, an old mechanic, and told him that I bet him a dollar that he had never did what I was doing to a vehicle. He took the bet... and lost... I was siphoning water out of my headlight with a hose!! I never did find out where the water was getting in. I siliconed all around the seam where the clear plastic lens met the reflector and sealed off the pigtail. It would slowly fill up from time to time until I replaced them with some Ebay ones. It was trippy when one would get like your turn signal and have enough water in it to notice it sloshing in the light pattern before it hit that hot halogen and busted the bulb. It would almost be like a shadow moving in front of me as I drove, then BAM! Out she went!
I realized the tape id put around the thing had blocked the little drain hole at the bottom.
Smash the like button
I wonder if the water in the bulb was the reason why the rectifier went bad?
I have a 95 heritage Softail, stock aside from s&s super e. Seems to start okay but certainly wont idle off enricher after 30 seconds as i have read. Once it warms up i get a sputtery sound (after 30minutes+ ride). Maybe its nothing but seems a little weird. I checked the plugs after a ride and they had a nice tan. Tonight i checked again and theyre def white, could be due to some fast on/off start/stop i did while testing intake. I really want to put a stock cv carb 27206-93 and cover once i find one reasonable, whole other issue. What should i start with here to get sorted? Carb clean/adjust, voes (couldnt find specs).

The worlds fastest Indian is in Invercargill NZ my mate was there recently and posted pictures of it on social media. The one you seen must be a replica.
Thay shipped it in only for the rally. Ot was on loan.
Surprised you still run a motorcycle tire on the rear of that bike
I switched to the “darkside” last year. Run a car tire on that bike.
They dont make a 16 narrow enough for old baggers or id have one.
@@scootertrampscotty Back in the old days we went to a 15 inch rim with rim locks and ran a car tire with very low air pressure on a rigid.
@@everettcalhoun8197
Panhead Billy does that
@@everettcalhoun8197
There still wouldnt be enough room. Maybe if u swapped the belt for a chain. Not gonna happen.

11:45 is the same as 22:59
Sometimes i dont remember to get enough riding footage
How ballsy are you? For those who aren't aware those Nitro bikes put out a thousand horsepower and leave the line on the back tire for about 10 to 60 feet if working right essentially a massive unicycle with only the weight of the rider to control direction.
