- The road has not been kind to the Colorado Avalanche this season. That is no secret. So a four game road trip might have some fans concerned about how many of the eight possible points the Avs can take. Very valid concern.
But this will also be the first road trip the team takes post trade deadline. Will it make a difference? Let's hope so! Because if not, you are heading into the playoffs with a season long road issue.

Chris, your reaction every time Kyle brings up Vegas is very relatable. There is a glaring problem that's been obvious to everyone since the hawks won with Kane on the ir all year. The league just seems to enjoy or at least be OK with the controversy around it. Their hard on for the hard cap will always limit the league and allow for dumb stuff like this
I think the tortz reprimand was the league trying to shut that down before it happens again. The flyers did say they'd pay it, so that's a nice little middle finger back at the league

Vegas isn't doing anything illegal, it's just ironic they seem to be playing the same card every year. Let's see if Stone makes another miraculous return for Game 1, Round 1 first. If that happens, you can't tell me something fishy isn't going on here, especially with the injury he has
The stupidest thing about the back to back is that they were already in Calgary, but they have to go to Vancouver and then fly back to Edmonton for a game the next day? Couldn't schedule the road back to back for the two teams in the same province? Gah.

I mean there’s 4 weeks left to the season. It’s time to start ironing out the issues so that we have a chance at another cup here. There are still some concerns with this team. 5 months into the season. He’s right to be negative. Mistakes can’t happen at this point.
