I have a good feeling about tonight. Mainly because there’s no way the Avs are going to play poorly on the day my granddaughter is born. And yes, you heard that right. This 40 something is about to be a freaking grandpa..dear lord 😂

I said before the series started, Avs in 6. Still believing that. I could see the game going several different ways. Since the Avs pretty much dominated both games (minus Georgie in game 1) I think the Jets could either come out their strongest... Or choke. Still hoping Avs take it, either by a substantial amount, or a tight game maybe won in OT. Playoff Avs are a different beast and while I love seeing the other guys contribute BIG, we need our stars to pop off this game. Dallas ain't doing well, so we need to have Vegas afraid to win that series! 😂

Since I will be in attendance I expect a spirit crushing game from the avs. Preferably something like 5-1 avs. I think winning 2-1 could do the trick too. In reality I think the avs win 3-2 with a fourth goal as empty netter

I agree that Game 2 was business as usual and now the Jets need to respond to us. That is the best place to be. Its a chess match and they are playing checkers.
Business in the sense of a “avalanche” style game
Very good point concerning Hellebuck (sp?) Chris. All you heard about him (ad nauseum) from their fans and especially the press was that their goalie was all world, possible Vezina winner and on and on. Now the seeds of doubt have to be keeping the Jets fans and players awake at night. Can he be that all-world goalie in the playoffs? Not so far.
However, this is the problem the Jets have. Helly plays lights out and then the Jets defence take the night off over and over.. *IF* the Jets play the system they know how to play, they won't have to rely on Helly. They can play much better. We'll see if that happens. Keep in mind, the Jets tend to play much better when on their heels. Go Jets!
The craziest part of this series so far? The Avs have scored more goals on hellbuyck than the jets have on georgiev 11-9. Save % not withstanding. With a decent goalie this series is 2-0 Avs with 2 blowouts

Nate has yet to go off, Rantanen has yet to go off, Georgy disappeared in game 1, and they still got the split...that should worry the Jets

Girard is cleared to play and they say it's up to him if he's ready. Walker, I haven't heard.
Bednar stated after the game that Walker was fine
I think in one of Bednars last conferences someone from the press asked about walker and said he was fine .

Prediction: Avs win 6-4. I have a feeling the Jets are going to throw some rubber towards the net tonight but the top line for the Avs strike back several times. Moose, MacK and Middlestat need to go off tonight and demoralize Winnipeg.

Jets were not playing their system in the first two games. Helly is off his game. Bones has made adjustments. Jets play well on the road. They are also a come from behind team. Expect more from the Jets tonight. Respect to the AVS but tonight the Jets win.
I'm not saying you are wrong but that is a very one sided way to look at it. Are the Jets not playing their system because the Avs are not letting them? Jets might be good on the road but the Avs were the best home team this season. Avs were also the masters of come from behind victories. But I do expect more from the Jets tonight. That much we can agree on.
@@LockedOnAvalanche I agree with you. The Avs have been really quick and the Jets have been off their system likely because of this speed - atleast that's part of the reason. Typically the Jets have dominated most teams but it seems the speed of the Avs has been a real problem for them. Regardless of who wins, I do hope it's a competative and fun game. I think the Jets need to go with Brossoit this game but that won't happen. Helly hasn't been good the first two games.
