- In this battlefield research video we show you some interesting war relics that we found in our last visit on the eastern front. Such as medals, rifles, some pistols and other things that were left behind in the woods after the war.
Greetings from Holland. - Zábava
Hey friends, great job ...
I love this hobby, because in addition to historical research will bring to light the forgotten for decades, items that belonged to people that there is no more ...
Honor to the fallen of any army!
You guys are amazing ! The relics of war you find are priceless ! Great job and video . Thanks for sharing !
Thanks for watching Jeff!
We discovered a place where a few German soldiers had threw away some rifles, pistols and small stuff like the tags. When a soldier gets killed and buried in the field, the tag with the 2 holes stays around the neck, the broken off other half ( with one hole ) is taken away for administrative purpose. At the end and after the war, a lot of soldiers discarded their tag and other warstuff, it was no longer needed.
Wederom prachtig gedaan.
Man, amazing...but at the same time so sad. Good on you guys for saving these important pieces of history before there gone for good. Thanks for sharing guys!
Wow. And to think right after the war you could have gone out there to find firearms just laying out there. To find them after all these years is just incredible. Great video.
Old comment but NO you cant. There are mines and kinda stuff... Also winners want their loot.
You guys are History Savers!!
Fantastic finds , I'd love to have a day doing what you guys do , thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome. Thanks for sharing!
The best thing about you is thatyoiu share with us what ou find !
Please keep going and keep sharing, PLEASE.
Thank you
Thanx Gus. We use 2 Fisher detectors with 10,5" spider coils, and one XP with a 14 x 12" coil.
Excellent video boys!! thanks for posting it. One cannot help but think about the soldiers that buried them there,
Yesterday my Grandpa gave me a 38H that was given to him by his brother. His brither got it from his father in law. No-one really knows the true story behind how it got to the United States. It is a very cool piece of History. Thank you for sharing :)
Your videos are always interesting!!
Hi Sebastien. The relics we find we show here on CZcams, and are on display in a private collection. Of the excavation of a missing soldier we would make an interesting video, everything official.
Wow, very nice finds. The P08, and the Luger are so cool. I worked in a gun shop here in the 80's and a man brought in his grandfathers luger from WW1 which was an artillery luger his grandfather LIBERATED from german prisoners or something and it was the same but with a huge long barrel and case, etc, and it was beautiful. What craftsmanship. The Germans had to replace the luger because of it's expense to make, so of course this is the reason they made the first real double action P08 9mm Kurtz. Thank you so much for the videos. Regards from the US. Tim
Excellent as usual and thanks for sharing :)
Hunter
Excellent video! Each of you must have a heck of a collection of relics!
you guys are awesome!
You guys ROCK!!!
erg mooi filmpje en super vondsten ! TOP
Beautiful finds Super Video greetings from Polish.
Klopt.
thats nice, thanks for the video
That is a very good thing to hear. Good luck in your future searches.
Thanx David. Yes, we have done some ww1 digging in France, very interesting too.
I envy you guys so much! You are truly fortunate to find all these things.
Big shoutout from a fellow digger in Sweden.
Thanks colleague! It is special indeed to find these relics.
WWIIMD
This is a great video and a touching tribute at 5:40 where you have all of those Mausers in a stack arms formation to those who either lost their lives in the effort or took part in it.
Thanks, indeed a small tribute.
Nice, that's a very cool pistol. So you grandpa was overhere and saw it all happen, interesting. Good luck finding your rounds.

You did the right thing Leutschuk. Sometimes they left the soldiers helmet to mark the fieldgrave.
These guys must have one awesome collection!
Not for private, they are obliged to hand in everything from the government.
Nice thumbs up

Each relic represents a young man who would have rather have been back home working on the farm with his parents.

Super! Wij gaan het in september proberen.
Succes!!
Great series you have going here and very interesting, Thank you.I must wonder if you guys ever run across any unexploded bombs or landmines.
Nooit opgeven, inzet wordt beloond :-) good hunt!
Wow the pistols are in very good condition, the P08 is my favourite because it was the first 9mm gun!!!
Just awesome!
Well done....keep em coming!
Nothing like that here in Australia....just a pile of old shellfish you cant touch because some aboriginal used to eat clams.
We read about it in books and soldiers personal journals. Or we get an idea seeing a documentary.
This was an excellent video. Good job. I spend a lot of time in St. Petersburg, Russia and even though I don't do this myself, I have seen a lot of helmets, weapon parts, shells, dug in tank positions and characteristic mortar craters very visible in and around the city. Sadly, I have seen some of these items not handled with respect, especially when I saw an old Russian helmet with a bullet hole tossed aside and left to rot outside of someone's shed. Anyway I hope to see more of your discoveries!
Thanks for watching! Not everywhere relics are treated with respect.
New video is in production!
Greets, WWIIMD
Nice!!!!!!
have ww2 site videos myself, nice work!
Epic!! the pistols are awesome! Love the medals as well... Lol the toothbrush is such a great idea. So how does one go about relic hunting? I must plan this into my trip to Europe!! Thanks for the video, can't wait for the next!
Vielen Dank für Ihre Arbeit. Hallo aus der Ukraine.
Hi Mike, in the beginning other people have joined us, but that did not work out well.
;-) my brother has just started editing, so please be patient, a new vid is coming soon.
hey guys. i loving following you’re side and films, and wanna visits the different places. but where are you guys at in the film? is it i germany, hürtgenwald or?
echt mooie vondst man..heel mooie...groetjes st
maar voor de rest you are the hero's of militairia metal detecting :)
Truly awesome! Do you have to report your findings to the government?
Looks like you found a piece of "exploding stuff" from ww2 called S-mine, or S-mine 35.
Hele leuke video`s
Thank you! If we ever find a missing soldier, than we do. Otherwise not.
We have donated some items to a private collector, not to museums.
Hello Sebastian, During the end of the war in the netherlands the germans threw away their dogtags and stuff and changed into civilian clothing so they would not be protecuted. People are still finding dogtags in the Liesbosch forest nearby my house :)
Any chance of a collection video?
Amazing finds..
If it has to be rusted, why do you ask 2491tj in one of his video's to donate his "very nearly mint, all matched numbers coded "byf" Mauser P38"? Sounds strange to me.
Hi V, thanx for the tips ;-) Gr, WWIIMD
....not yet ;p
Cool!
Goed job guys :-)
Die P38 is echt supper gaaf!
so many people from all over the world go to Europe for vacations all the time.... This is why I want to go. I want to see the major battle fields and hunt for the past hidden in the earth of a conflict waged so long ago. Just walking through the fields and forests where history was written would be enough !
Some very cool finds! Have you guys ever gone to any WW1 sites?
What happens to all the stuff you find? I hope something good, this is amazing stuff, particularly the handguns, I am amazed how they are still so identifiable after being under the ground for 70 years.
fanty pierwsza klasa super
Where do you guys put the rest of the parts , throw them away? or put them back? or? plz reply i want to know
and do you guys find bones?
You'll only run into problems when you dismantle things yourself. If you find ammunition, don't touch it more than is necessary. Check this video out: подрыв в Синявино ....this happens when you have no respect for old live ammo.
Hi Seb, Thanks for your comment, I have just sent you a message.
And all this time I thought guns were manufactured.
In Europe they grow under trees :)
Pick them when ripe, don't let them rot.
Thanks for video.
