I. Better Place of Service (v. 1-6)
A. Christ offers a superior ministry. (v.1-2)
a. We have a greater High Priest who has finished His task. (8:1)
b. We have a greater High Priest who ministers in the Heavenly Tabernacle. (8:2)
B. Why Christ offers a superior ministry (v.3-6)
a. A Change in Priesthood, Law, and Covenant
II. Better Promises for Salvation (v. 7-13)
A. The Old was temporary and powerless, the New is eternal and effective (v.7-9)
B. God would change the hearts and minds of His people and put His Spirit within them (v. 10-11)
a. The Holy Spirit & Salvation [cf., John 3:3-9; Ezk 36:25-27; Jer 31:31-33]
C. God would forgive us of our sins (v.12-13)
a. Faith must be personally appropriated to avoid God’s judgment. [cf., Like 19:41-44]
