  • By using mapping technology to track sexual abuse and harassment, ElsaMarie D'Silva is forcing the issue into public consciousness and creating real change in cities across India and Nepal. Her project, SafeCity, has tracked thousands of reports of assault, identifying hotspots to be addressed by local communities, and creating safe spaces for women.
ElsaMarie D’Silva is the cofounder and Managing Director of Red Dot Foundation (Safecity) which is a platform that documents sexual harassment and abuse in public spaces. She aims to make public spaces safer and equally accessible to all especially women and children. She is a fellow at Aspen New Voices and Vital Voices.
