@David McConville Wouldn't that tactic fall apart the first time he tried to surprise strangle someone? In Empire he did that one guy with no gestures whatsoever.
I dunno about reporting bad news...maybe early on he was a little temper-tantrum prone, but by the originals, the only guys he chokes out are:
1.) The ones who won’t be sporting and just GIVE HIM THE PLANS.
2.) The ones who are grossly incompetent at their jobs.
3.) Punk-ass bitches who think they’re hard and start talking shit, requiring him to exercise his pimp hand.
Some poor schmuck who gets the “bearer of bad news” job should be fine, provided he shows proper respect and is not personally to blame for whatever’s gone down the Sarlaac pit this time.

The scout troopers were always my favorite as a kid. So much so I became the scout trooper equivalent in the US Army. I did six years in Cavalry squadron that specialized in reconnaissance. Our chain of command never let us have speeder bikes though 🤣

Just starting the video, but officer standing in the barrel of the Death Star cannon without a safety railing has to be one of the worst jobs.

I feel like being a repo man would be pretty dangerous in the coruscant underworld. Imagine trying to tow someone's speeder bike and some bigass alien with six inch claws comes out of nowhere and sees you hooking up his ride

The death star fire control guys also have no railings. one bad step and splat. perhaps that is how they cover up the radiation deaths.

What exposure to zero G? Doesn't the Star Wars universe typically have fairly reliable artificial gravity?
Indeed, haven't seen a single ship without gravity. Not to mention these are not early 21st century Earth ships, that don't have to worry about Radiation from space. They have proper shielding. Alan, I think the comparison to our Earth tech videos are making you lose focus on the sci-fi of Star Wars sometimes. :P
The Death Star Prototype had no gravity outside the few habitable areas.
togr01 Agree, now in 21'st century we don't have much or any experience with the zero g, but we have a high exposure of microgravity, which works similar to zero g on a human body. It also seems, shorter time you are exposed, the worse it is for you in some ways (the body gets well by a certain time except for atrophy, but in a shor time we have Neuro-Ocular Syndrome, shorter the time is, the worse it is for you.) Maybe they shall have also use some shielding from the radiation.
Most ships had total gravity as long as the ship wasn’t totally breached, and most are radiation proof so likely neither will be issues.

Generation Tech, I respect what you said. Considering who the Emperor really was, the Empire itself really doesn't care about it's own military. I also realized that the men on the Death Star who manned the command center to power the Superlaser were not able to keep themselves shielded by the Radiation. If we have to blame anyone, we really should blame the Emperor because he Orchestrated all of it using Extreme Cruelty for his Followers as well as his own Military Gunners. It leads to one very Important question...
"Who in their own Right Minds would want to serve a Tyrant like the Emperor?"

the new Star Wars trilogy had so many problems after the prequels things changed as a result certain fans hated The Rise Of Skywalker.
Mark Hamil needed to explain that Jedi never give up anything there is no way in hell any Jedi would become a hermit. Luke had left Tatooine because he wanted to be part of something he cared about not spend the rest of his life in silence.Obiwan felt it was time for someone else to carry on the Jedi tradition so a new path was placed before Luke. Disney lost sight of good story telling the way Vader lost sight of what mattered to him before going into power joining the dark side.

What is OSHE ?
Darth Revan Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment. They’re the people who put minimum safety standards into law. For example on the Death Star they need harnesses to prevent a fall, railings to prevent a fall, and radiation shielding

Darth Revan it’s cool until they fine you because the ladder at your job site has 13 inches between the rungs instead of 12 inches. It’s not a very expensive fine but it is still a pain in the ass.

Imagine your a young moisture farmer living with your family, and life is tough. Everyday is just continual painful work. You decide to run away from home, and end up joining a Coruscant based corporation, as you become a Freighter pilot. Quickly you learn it’s taken a toll on your health, so you decide to join the military! You enlist, after long training periods, you become a scout trooper. You are a scout trooper for a while, it’s a good job, but then you get sent to Endor.. on a scouting mission you end up in a terrible crash, but end up not crippled or dead! So now you leave the military, going to Coruscant thinking you could make an actual living there. You learn quickly it’s tough, after realizing you don’t have a chance, you join the Underworld Police. Three days in, you’ve already had to shoot a guy, seen your own troopers shot dead, couple robberies.. normal stuff. But then, you’re patrolling a street, it’s mostly empty. As you patrol around, you hear something, you turn and everything goes black. You wake up, everything is blurry.. you look around, where are you? You quickly realize your in a spice mine on Kessel, where you spend the rest of your days...
No atmosphere on Kessel?
Well that makes that mission in galactic battlegrounds utterly impossible.
It's honestly amazing the sith function after the rule of two. Like i get why it exits but fundamentally the sith ideologically is basically self destructing I think you count two hands the amount of sith who lived to see 50 in human year's and after the rule was implemented and one hand of sith who died of natural causes and I'm being generous with that number

Grav-Plates takes care of the 0G problems and Ray Shields deals with Cosmic Radiation so Freighter Pilot would be no more dangerous in the Star Wars Universe than Truck Driver is here on Earth...

I know this doesn't count as it's not human but I'd say being a Gonk droid. The one droid no one seems to pay attention to or notices. *GONK* Actually maybe do an episode on the ten worst and best droids. I remember reading about a nanny droid that takes care of babies. It also had weapons built in, in case an issue came up. Not sure if that's best or worst lol

Hey Allen in the freghter pilot section. You talked about 0g in star wars there is artificial gravity would you still have negative affects?
The actual worst job is being a Rebel on any ship transporting Leia cause chances are you will shit yourself, get cut by a sith lord, be choked to death, or shot dead.
Alternatively any job that involves you working on any planet that gets 1 shotted by a Deathstar or Starkilling base.

Those beams are probably plasma and magnetic field based of some kind. Probably negligible or no radiation to speak of.
@@robertagu5533 The Death Star is based on an ancient Sith design, which in turn is based on lightsaber design; i.e., they generate the beam using the same principles.

What about a video on what the cultural repercussions of the Holdo maneuver would have on the SW universe? Interstellar Trucker, of course it's going to be dangerous. Even in the relatively safe US commercial drivers are one of the ten most dangerous occupations. RL truck drivers die on the job at a rate over three times that of police. Beaten only by loggers, fishermen, farmers, and miners. Worst job in Star Wars, logger you have to go to strange alien planets full of dangerous wildlife and log the native's sacred old growth trees while they do their best to kill you, along with all the wildlife.

Yo, uh... 2 things for freighter pilots. These ships have grav gens, so... zero Gs aren't an issue, and the ship has a uh... oh, I uh, Oh yeah, a dense metal hull! that would likely block the radiation.
