  • What's up guys and welcome back to another video! In this video i'll finally be installing the Bmw M2 comp BBK on my F80 M3 with Turnermotorsport steel braided brake lines. This was a rather time consuming process that required a lot of patience. I want to give a special thank you to everyone that made customizing the BBK the way i wanted possible. Everything came out even better than i imagined and the performance in stopping power is undoubtably more noticeable. Hope you guys enjoy watching this video as much as we did making it and it is helpful to anyone looking to make this upgraded wether it be OEM or aftermarket, it'll be the same process and as always LIKE, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE!!!

    Great video!! Did you change the brake booster or do any coding changes for the BBK?

    • @ShrugMedia
      @ShrugMedia  Před rokem

      No sir it’s simply plugging play if you go with the iron rotor set up however, if I were to install carbon ceramics, then you would need to replace the brake booster because the brake booster on the carbon ceramic set up is larger.

  • @MrDeepseadweller
    @MrDeepseadweller Před rokem +1

    That nickel color looks awesome. Hopefully it won’t flake off when you have to clean the calipers. Btw are those little horses on the calipers, above and behind the black lettering?

    • @ShrugMedia
      @ShrugMedia  Před rokem +1

      Na there’re actually goats because I’m a goat 🤣🤣🤣 and thanks man I don’t think the nickel will flake off because of how it was applied.

    Are those the same 6 piston calibers with the m performance kit cuz they look different

    • @ShrugMedia
      @ShrugMedia  Před rokem

      I ordered them new using a vin from an M2 C they originally came red and I had them refinished.

  • @PC-hr2rc
    @PC-hr2rc Před rokem +1

    Might’ve missed this but why not use standard m3 rotors?

    • @ShrugMedia
      @ShrugMedia  Před rokem +1

      The standard M3 rotors are 380x 30mm front and 370x 24mm rear so they won’t fit the bigger pad and caliper size.

  • @tractioncontroldelete
    @tractioncontroldelete Před rokem +1

    How do the weights of the M3 rotors/calipers compare to the M2 ones?

    • @ShrugMedia
      @ShrugMedia  Před rokem +1

      The M2’s are much heavier compared to the stock M3 but it’s a good heavy that you can feel while driving

    • @hn92
      @hn92 Před rokem +1

      @@ShrugMedia I’m pretty sure the ccb were a optional upgrade. I mean the 6 pot calipers should’ve been standard on the m3. The stock 4 piston callipers look so small and weak.
