- CHICKEN RANCH TACOS
3 chicken breast-cooked&shredded
half packet of taco seasoning
half of packet of dry ranch dip seasoning
1/2 to 1 tsp. cumin
*Mix together in a bowl
*Heat up a pot with some oil in it for frying-i used peanut oil.
*Corn tortillas- flash fried a little, this helps the tortilla not fall apart on you while stuffing it with your seasoned chicken meat.
*Now to flash fry your all the corn tortillas your going to use for this recipe in the hot oil for about 30 t0 40 seconds, and then put them on a plate lined with paper towels.
*Now take your flash fried corn tortilla and stuff in with some of your season chicken meat mixture. I like to assemble all the before i fry them again.
*Now fry your chicken tacos until golden brown on both side of your tacos!
*Drain on a plate lined with paper towels to drain a lot of the oil form them.
*Now stuff your chicken tacos with all the tacos topping you would like to use, like shredded cheddar cheese, chopped lettuce, chopped tomato, chopped onion or green onion, sliced black olives, salsa, sour cream, and pickled jalapeños. Use the topping you like, you don't have to use what i used.
*Serve them with any sides you would like!

loved this! my mom (born in mexico) always fries corn tortillas with refried beans and raw onions in them, then at the dinner table we put in the regular taco toppings (meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc); it's nice to see someone else making something 'similar'! lol #canada

For those who want to try this recipe but are concerned about the tacos being too greasy, you can fry the tortillas and fold them in half while you fry them to form taco shells. Drain them on paper towels and then fill with the chicken. That way your filling doesn’t get soaked in oil.
Great idea. This is why I love this channel. We have so many members who have different ways to do the same thing.

u are so precious and down to earth! i love your videos... for some reason when i got on youtube this morning, your video about your bout with pneumonia popped up.... i too, year end of 2015, was hospitalized with severe pneumonia, on a vent for 13 days, several days in a physical rehab to learn to walk, feed myself, etc... BLESS U!! i fought my way back, so did you! so happy to have found your channel.

The way we do it in Mexico is heat them in a pan. You don’t need to flash fry them. They will warm up about 1-2 mins per side on med-low, in an already hot pan
That will stop the tortillas from tearing. You can use toothpicks to keep them in place too

iiAMnina no oil. The heat will make the tortillas stronger. It is the water that makes them fall apart. As the water evaporates, the tortilla becomes stronger.
Or microwave in bag or mois napkin for 30s

Sarah, years ago a friend of mine and I used to go to a Mexican restaurant and we used to order their delicious tacos. They were corn tortillas and soft yet crispy, just like what you just prepared. We loved them so much and I never could figure out myself how exactly to prepare the tortillas myself to give them that effect! I’d just flash fry them and they were soft but never could get the crispy part down. THANK you for this. I’ve been cooking for years and pride myself on being a decent cook...this has always been a source of shame! lol! No longer, thanks to you.☺️

Suggestion Sara, when frying corn tortilla's in oil, always space them between paper towels. That way it absorbs the oil. :)
