- Just another run of the project. Moved the engine harness and fuse box for a cleaner engine bay. Downpipe attached, smoother idle. Still haven't installed the charge piping or an O2 sensor. So the engine will run smoother and come off of idle smoother once it has O2 readings.

I can't thank you enough for that Pic intense walkthrough you made!!! I got my 91 swapped a few weeks ago and was wondering what you do for the wipers? I followed your diagram pretty close and just added a fuse box then spliced into a stock kia harness. Then I realized the wiper motor wires ran to the old computer... I hate the idea of keeping the ancient brain just for wipers. Seriously man your advice and an old service manual was everything I used to swap in an FE3, you should consider teaching shop if you don't already.
What did you do for the idle are controller since it was mounted on the crosstube u removed.
where did u get the turbo headers at or did u make it urself
Would the Mazda fe3 bolt right onto the Kia 4x4 gearbox?
what exhaust manifold did u use
What are you running for exhaust?
Hey man can you answer our questions?? Injectors? Turbo Manifold? Help out the viewers
What do you use for injectors
Where can i buy a turbo manifold??
hey, i have a 2002 sportage motor in my b2200. i need some help finding bigger injectors and aftermarket fuel pump, any advice would be great.
You can put any bosch type short body injector. And any aftermarket fuel pump.
Silent Dawn I was thinking of doing this swap in my 1986 mazda b2000. I was just wondering if you would be able to give me some pointers on what I need and how hard the swap is and maybe a build list because this seems like it would be a very fun swap. Thanks much appreciated!

Silent Dawn I do have an account on there I'm pressure I also belong to the mazda b scene. And okay thank you! I will look into your link!
@@SilentDawn Wish this was still up. Wanting to do this swap, but the website domain doesn't exist now..
How did you turbo it?
Hi, I have a Mazda B2200 94' that makes some noise in the engine and is failing.
I took it to 3 mechanics in my city and they do not find the fault.
Search the Internet and found a site that said read error code into a box that is near the engine but I can't find it.
I also thought about buying the code reader but apparently has no OBD2 port.
Do you not know where to check engine error code?
Thanks a lot
Greetings from Argentina!
Rickypro 25 You will not have OBD2 port. You will have to "flash out" the codes. You have to jumper a connector under the hood and then watch the check engine light to count the "blink codes"
Here are instructions for how to get the codes.

Here is a list of the codes:

If your engine is making noise, it is likely a mechanical problem that the engine computer may not be able to diagnose correctly. so it may be hit or miss to chase engine trouble codes.
SilentDawn Thanks a lot. I will try to read the code. Best regards!
badass swap and how much did it cost in all to swap
+Steven Hernandez Thanks! These basic swaps are very easy. Its pretty much just the cost of the engine and harness. You can get everything you need for the swap for under $500 and about a weekend's worth of work. Of course, the addition of turbo crap will increase the cost of the swap, but these engines have a lot more power than the stock B2000 engine, so that is already a huge jump in power for the truck.
Does this engine plug into the stock transmission
What kind of boost can that engine handle?
@@frogjuicer5240 excellent question!
Does it bolt right up?
@@frogjuicer5240 I just did some research and yes!!! It does!
The flywheel is an 8 bolt on the Kia rather than a 6 and the oil passages are different so you want to keep the Kia head on the Kia block.
I believe these engines were in the Ford probe as well!
