Thinking about dropping in a 1jz-gte in mine, I can find them complete with auto trans, ecu and loom for about $2K.

I’ve got a 2jz-GE out of a 2002 Lexus IS300 and a 1990 b2200 as well as a 93 b2200
The 2JZ was going to go into the MKIII but I had to get rid of the shell sadly
Never wanted to waste the block, hints why I got this b2200 rolling shell, my biggest question is what was your cooling solution, I saw you had to chop up the radiator support a little bit but is a radiator still able to fit in there?
