Man you are awesome! I'm going to refer to your videos for anything I need from now on thank you so much! Very detailed and informative as well as light-hearted and humorous! You were made for this!
Good video, was able to replace vvt actuator without disconnecting rear sensor or removing alternator. If you get the manifold loose you can get under the intake manifold and replace the solenoid. Make sure to be careful with gaskets!
Thank you 1A auto for posting this, it was very helpful!!!
You guys are awesome… you do you boo boo!!😂🤣
Thanks guys. The operator is at a professional level! So go on!

Thank you. This was a huge help when me and my son replaced the vvt solenoid on my Ram. Damn the rear connector was not fun to disconnect on the intake manifold.

Awesome! Thank you for the video. Helped out a ton.
I replaced the stock alternator, serpentine belt and battery on my 2012 RAM 1500. Those myriad tangle of plastic connectors to various sensors are very sensitive and tricky. The plastic can be brittle and crack easily!! You need to be super careful to reconnect them correctly and tight or the engine will not start!! I would use a di-electric (blub) grease when refitting the sensor connectors. Good video, big job well done!

You are amazing. Thank you so much. Going to get started on this job now as I’m getting oil from the PCV valve leaking down the back of the block. I’m sure I’ll start checking air and get a lien code. If I don’t get to it truck is 10 years old with 50,000 miles to the age that got me.!

Close to or 100,000 miles plus I would change the injectors especially DIY people. I used dish washing detergent and hot water very warm water on a LH concorde. Changed everything but the injectors and changed all mounted sensors. I don't envy y'all at all very good video. Also, replaced Throttle body and sensors.
Very good video. Just wanted to add you do not need to pull the alternator for this job and also be careful of the plug on the idle motor on back of intake. Recently did one of these because customer concern was oil leak on the back right side of engine. Little did I know someone had there hands in it previously and broke the plug on idle motor and forgot to put the gasket for pcv box in so it was leaking out of intake manifold..
Rear passenger side? Cause I got oil leaking out of that side too, which is why I'm looking at this video lol
After you got the red lock off of that PITA connector on the back of the manifold, is there anything to squeeze before the connector will pull off?
Do you have a video on the short runner valve for 2010 dodge ram 1500 5.7?
Apparently have to replace mine p1004
Does the intake manifold control valve require a green seal?
Once the red lock is off of that PITA connector on the back of the manifold, is there a clip to press or should it slide right off?
Great video....if someone else is doing this job loosen the clamp at the throttle body, go over to the air cleaner remove the hose , pull straight up on the whole housing it comes out that easy, i have to remove and replace mine each year for the visual inspection when I have my aftermarket intake on there.
+TheBULLRAM Thanks for the tip!
Good video. Snappies on the cowl wanting to take a dive into the block.. made for a tense few moments. Isn't it nice when you do everything including pulling the valve cover to find a misfire and realize it's a manifold gasket leak? Okay? 😂
Please make this same video for the 3rd gens Ram 1500 there is no videos anywhere on how to do this and I have a 04 Ram 1500.
Great Video, but !!!YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE ALTERNATOR !!!!
Why does the part link here show the V6 kit instead of the one for the 5.7 Hemi?
I dont have a brake boost hose for some reason-- 2020 rebel 5.7 hemi
2011 1500 dodge ram 4.7 classic crew cab rebuild engine got my heads shaved now I have intake manifold leaks on both side replace with used 1 but same wat could it be n new Gaskets
what were the sysptoms that lead to this beinh the fix?
Where Did you purchase that torque wrench?
Lol good team work!
Torque Sequence at 57:30
Is this similar to chargers?
Well, when you have the intake manifold back in stock
He kind of made this look a little hard lol I'm not a mechanic either so much respect

Great Video but there is NO need to remove the alterator..took about 4hrs..the alterator is a good place to rest the intake manifold
Clean your bolts and holes, torque values with a oily bolt can vary by 30%
Good information. Though your reply’s are just a little too automated and generic
Is that oil i see in the intake you took off?
There is a pcv system, so yes there will be some oil residue from recycling vapors.
How do you replace the serpentine belt
+Andres Aguilar I have attached a video for your reference: czcams.com/video/hjlF9cyBfJs/video.html
I had to look this up to check my spark plugs. Vehicles now a days are not very self service friendly

+Luis Montemayor Thanks for checking us out!
My truck its. Throwing wihte smoke fron the tile pipes could it be the intake manifold gaskets?
+Luis Montemayor We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com
Best part was do you booboo 😆 but thanks for the the vid helped me out alot
36:54 🤣
next time clean that area off with air gun before you pull the intake off. jesus
Bad video. Should specify which model. Looking for the 3.6 model
I’m assuming the oil residue around the back of the intake is from the gasket leaking? Not something else?
