Renz Esparza it’s most likely just the audio mixing - there’s his mic and a mic or two on the audience. whoever does the audio mixing (for the recordings) brings in the audience for a couple seconds then takes it out almost instantly so you can hear him. the reason the audience is mic’d is so that the show doesn’t seem dry in recordings

If you've never looked into the Antarctic accents I recommend it. All groups of scientists end up with their own accent eventually. Any isolated community will develop an accent.
