Goku getting the heart virus is one of the key plot points in the early Android arc. Despite Trunks coming back and giving Goku the medicine to cure the virus after it was already in effect, Goku was still out of commission while the medicine was curing him. But what if Trunks didn’t bring a reactive measure to stop the heart virus and instead brought a preventative one? What if Trunks gave Goku a vaccine instead?

Since this’ll be asked a ton I’ll pin it and answer it simply. He dies to the androids like everyone else so nothing changes lmao
I think kami piccolo could fight with tien against one while Goku and vegeta could fight the other
Carthu’s Dojo lies Goku can change the course of events using instant transmission he can escape and use the HBTC, teleport to new Namek etc.
I'm kinda curious how Kami wasn't aware of Cell's rampage though unlike what actually happened. The Artificial Humans in this fictional timeline weren't killing anyone, only Cell, so I wonder why he didn't see this?

@@jruler93 maybe but if cell wasn't there, then they'd all still be training especially now that Goku isn't dead meaning they might be on par or slightly less than where they were before the buu ark. Buy if we're going by that then vegeta wouldn't go majiin as the gap between him and Goku won't be that massive but that's a massive topic I don't think I'm talented enough to dive into.

I think the disappearance of an entire town's population would definitely catch the attention of the Z warriors like it did in the main timeline. More accurately, it'd probably catch Bulma's attention like it did originally. Bulma would probably still get the call about the abandoned time machine, which would prompt her to get a hold of the Z fighters and summon them to its location. Then, just like in the main sequence of events, she would probably catch the innitial news broadcasts and raise the alarm. Whether or not Piccolo and Kami would still fuse in this alternate scenario, I'm not sure. Maybe, maybe not. I guess it would all have to depend on how many people Imperfect Cell absorbed and how much of a threat he became.
I think it's Goku, who will arrive in the dead city and face Cell as 1st. But with the rest you're right.

It would be too late though, because cell would be on his way to absorb the androids. And if piccolo or someone else went to face cell, they would just get absorbed and make cell even stronger.

@@bluefall1311 Piccolo was stronger than cell but I'm just saying that cell went straight to the lab and absorbed the Androids, so the z warriors wouldn't be alarmed by this creature from the future since cell wouldn't be around absorbing thousands of people like he did in the original.

@@bluefall1311 Cell knows the location because he was born there in the lab. In the original the z warriors only found out about cell when they saw him on TV, but since this time cell wouldn't be absorbing people, probably not even kami would know he exists until it's too late.
Great video, I don't buy that no one would see Cell coming, both Kami and Piccolo knew something else was out there that was far worse than anything they'd faced before and decided to fuse in order to combat it. I think that would still happen as Kami would feel the presence of Cell and make the call to face him. Also, when Bulma found out Android 20 was Dr Gero she would have known about Gero's lab and Trunks especially would have been keen to investigate, potentially leading to them discovering the lab and destroying the remaining Androids before they were able to be activated. Alternatively, even if Cell did manage to absorb 17/18, playing on his Saiyan genetics they probably could have still got him to organise the Cell games and given them time to train.

Kami would be able to sense a disturbance like during the present timeline and call the zfighters to meet at the lookout to discuss and then fuse with piccolo
That doesnt make much sense to me though, even if Cell did get his perfect form early, he’d still be as cocky as ever and would want to test his new abilities instead of just offing Goku and the others like that. Because of Vegeta’s cells/Saiyan cells, he wants and has the need to prove himself as being the strongest. I’m pretty sure he’d in some way give them time to train and build up to give him that challenge.
I mean, in the main timeline the only reason he didn't off them immediately was because they'd already given him quite the fight in his previous forms and he thought that they had the potential to at least challenge him. Here, he wouldn't have any faith in them.
Yeah, I think Cell would still let them train.
In addition, Piccolo would still go to Gingertown. He’d still want to see what was happening, and even if Cell was capable of escaping, he’d then be hunted down by the Z-fighters.

I have a few questions
1) Didn't Kami sense Cell and wouldn't he warn the Z Fighters
2) Cell is aware of Goku's potential to grow stronger. Wouldn't he want to give him that Chance. His Saiyan cells might make him curious if given time would Goku be able to give him a good fight.
3) Goku didn't die of Natural Causes so wouldn't he be allowed to keep his body.
4) Perfect Cell isn't at the level of SSJ2 so will that be enough to revive buu.

You have a whole hell of a lot of misconceptions like the fact that the Z Fighters wouldn't immediately rushed to a town randomly losing its entire population or the fact that God would have at least notified some of my Piccolo or Goku and I'm pretty sure that the Z Fighters would have been trained that whole time and eventually had the namekian to revive them all so that they could give cell the ultimate fade and then everything would have actively go back to the way that it was outside of the Future Trunks timeline which may or may not be screwed
While I can't say I enjoyed this take, it does showcase why I love what-ifs so much. Anyone can take a simple change to events, and take it in a wildly different direction depending on what they personally think would happen.

Great video, but I HIGHLY doubt the sudden erasure of an entire town wouldn’t instantly alert the Z Fighters into some sort of action. In the original timeline Piccolo was the first to react to the massacre at Ginger Town, so I doubt he wouldn’t at the very least alert the rest of the warriors prior to combating Cell. A united attack from ssj Trunks Goku and Vegeta at their current levels would at the very least prove a taxing battle for Imperfect Cell, even post absorbed Ginger Town Cell.
I agree with. Cell wasn’t nearly powerful enough at this point to confidently defeat 17 and 18, so I highly doubt he was that much stronger than the Sayains. The z fighters could have defeated him if they ganged up on him

Good point... I'm not sure how did the Manga handled it, but the anime shows the effects of Cell's rampage in the town on the TV screen, which made Bulma worried and curious. Not only that, but Kami also knew about Cell... But not bad what-if, regardless.

There's one thing you forgot to bring up, Cell is composed of EVERYONES ENERGY from Goku and Vegeta ALL THE WAY TO FRIEZA, and Goku being able to sense HIS OWN ENERGY OUTSIDE OF HIS OWN BODY AND IN GINGER TOWN WOULD BRING CAUSE FOR ALARM TO HIM, giving Goku enough reason to investigate and find Cell, there he would fight him, either loose or the fight be at a standstill, Cell would escape, and at that moment, Goku would suggest the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and go in. You're pretty good, but Goku being able to sense his own energy outside of himself would be enough to make him worry, if in the ginyu saga when he lost his body and said "its going to be weird fighting against my own body", when Cell would flare up his energy just enough, and he would at some point, that would be the ticker for Goku to sense his own energy and investigate.
So what if Goku held off on them noodles and normalised his cholesterol level?

What if Cell absorbed the androids in the future when trunks returned back to the future after the cell saga ?
Kami and Piccolo both sensed the town originally and would have in this timeline, the Z-fighters would be on edge since Trunks said there were more Androids and would definitely react. Also Bulma would still tell them where the lab was, especially with Trunks' discrepancies.
I'm pretty sure kami would still sense cell like in the original and fuse with piccolo. Plus it would be out of character for cell to jus kill goku, his saiyans genes would want a real fight and would give him time to train like in the original as well.
I'd still like to see a what if on "What if Cell didn't self destruct before Gohan killed him".

I'm glad that you went pretty far with this theory, in regards to reaching the end of the storyline so far.
Although, after watching this video, I was wondering; would it be possible to discuss a sub-theory where; "What if, Cell also absorbed Android 16" or, in regards to this theory; "What if, Gohan turns Super Saiyan when he saw Goku die."
Could his rage give Cell hope of a future challenge and maybe spark a new Cell games tournament?
A bonus theory would be; "What if" Cell left Earth after defeating the Z fighters and eventually ran into Broly on Vampa!

Cell can't absorb 16 because he's entirely mechanical. This actually comes up in canon, because when the two fight when Cell is still in his Imperfect Form, Cell tries to absorb his energy but fails because he can only absorb bioenergy, which 16 doesn't have.
Realistically Kami would communicate with the Z fighters and get them to deal with Cell, the only reason he didn't in the main timeline was because Piccolo was already on his way to visit Kami to fuse with him.
The future timeline is kinda scuffed in some ways, just feels darker than other parts of dragon Ball, and I feel like nothing that dark would happened again, like if Goku died from the virus in the timeline we view then things would not have went bad. without plot armor life is scary, that timeline didn't have plot armor...
I Think Kami would still notice the destruction Cell was causing and would fuse with Piccolo like in the Original and Goku would most likely go in the Time Chamber with Trunks to overcome the ssj wall like he did with Gohan in the original just with Trunks witch would lead to Goku being stronger in this Timeline

However, in universe, I agree, the only people who would be able to stop Goku are Black and Jiren until Goku reaches UI. Broly may be around the same level or even slightly stronger at his full power.

My theory: Goku got his heart virus on Yardrat. The people from Yardrat itself are nearly immune to it, as they evolved to have such an immunity, while far more aggression oriented genetics are weak to it (as Yardrat denizens teleport to avoid fighting), so Saiyan Goku got it from bad food or another inconspicuous problem.

What if Goku was sent to Planet Vampa instead of Earth (Part 1)
The story starts off where Gine and Bardock have already sent young Kakarot to another planet. But it's not earth. Meanwhile on Vampa, Broly and paragus are stranded and are inside a cave. Not long after we cut to that scene, a space pod lands a few yards away from paragus and broly. So paragus would go see what has crashed near by. He notices that it's a Saiyan space pod. he opens it up and sees a young child with spikey hair and a tail. It's was goku obviously. Paragus was selfishly about to kill him just because he didn't care for the Saiyan child or did he wanna have to deal with another Saiyan child. It is already stressful enough for him to raise his son Broly, especially when he knows that he also has to train him to keep his insanity. Then Paragus stops and realize something. He realizes that he can raise him as his own along with raising Broly to become great warriors and in slave him. Over time as kakarot and Broly were alittle older but still kids, Paragus would not only train Broly primarily, but also train Goku as well. But Goku would be out of control just like he was in Dragonball with Grandpa Gohan. Paragus would eventually teach kakarot how to control his emotions as well as his Saiyan instincts. He would also teach him Ki control and with this training and learning out to meditate, Goku, Paragus, and Broly knows how to sense ki. Eventually Goku and Broly would train with one another and create a bond with each other. Several years pass and Goku and Broly got insanely stronger. Also this Goku would be different because he has been influenced by paragus. So he's not as milicious as his what could've been evil counterpart. He's not too much of a good guy but not too bad either. He would also have the same torn attire as Broly just like Broly had on from super Broly. Also Paragus would get alittle stronger but still weaker then Goku and Broly. Broly would also be stronger than Goku.
Somewhere in space, Frieza is headed off to namek. Back on Vampa, Goku and Broly are training as usual when suddenly a space pod crashes right in front of them. Out comes Raditz. Paragus assumes that Raditz is a Saiyan who not only survived planet Vegeta but he also came to help them. Raditz sees kakarot and he demands for him to go with him to be on a mission. Paragus jumps in and says "What do you need to take him for?" Raditz responds "Well I was ordered by prince Vegeta to recruit my brother to join us on a mission." "Even though you're my brother, I will not go with you." Fine Kakarot, then I'll take you by force." But Paragus says wait. He tells him that they've been stranded on this planet for several years and they are in need of supplies. Raditz although reluctant at first, agrees as he thinks of an idea of maybe just maybe joining forces with them against the Saiyans. Before this, Raditz cut off his scouter so no communication would get through to the Saiyans or Frieza and conversate with Paragus about his idea, as he see potential in Goku and Broly. Raditz would leave temporarily to get some supplies such as food, clothing, ect. He manage to do all of this when Vegeta or Nappa wasn't aware and went back to Vampa. Sometime later they would train. With Raditz joining them and betraying the Saiyans, Paragus had high hopes that they will easily defeat them and maybe on day defeat Lord Frieza. Goku and Broly would train often with each other and Raditz would train with Paragus as well as Raditz can tell that he's the weakest out of all of them. Then they would switch with training partners periodically to learn different techniques from each other. They train hard for the next several months to prepare for the Saiyans and or Frieza. One day while Raditz was sneaking to get more supplies for the others, Vegeta sees him getting back into his ship and taking off. The prince suspects that Raditz is up to something and that he may be betraying him and Nappa. So Vegeta and Nappa both follow Raditz while he wasn't aware that he was being followed. Not long after Raditz got back to Goku, Paragus and Broly, 2 different pods crash lands on the planet just a mile away. Vegeta and Nappa arrive and they would eventually find the Saiyans. "Dammit" Raditz says as not only did he knew that they would find out what he was up to eventually, but also he didn't notice that he was followed until right then and there. "So Raditz, this is where you been all this time" Vegeta says. As Paragus realizes that he see prince Vegeta, he gets in raged. "Vegeta, I will get my revenge on you. Your father throw us away like trash and that is unforgivable! Vegeta says he could care less because it has nothing to do with him. Nappa asks what Paragus is talking about and Vegeta tells him not to worry about it. Paragus tells Broly to attack Vegeta before Goku cuts in and says" No don't do it. I wanna fight him first." Paragus reluctantly agrees and while Goku and Vegeta begin to fight, Nappa and Raditz begin to fight as well. Goku and Vegeta are even, even though Vegeta is only slightly stronger than Goku this time since this Goku is stronger than his Saiyan Saga counterpart, even without the kaio-ken. Raditz is somewhat struggling against Nappa. But with the distraction by Broly, Nappa was killed. Vegeta is getting pissed at kakarot so he overpowers him and begins to charge up a galic gun. Before the beam could connect, Raditz jumps in front of kakarot and knocks it into the sky, showing Vegeta how much stronger he has gotten since his training. Goku, Raditz, and Broly begin to beat down Vegeta. He stood no chance against the 3 of them at once. Then Vegeta had no other choice. With his last ditch effort, he creates an artificial moon, looks at it and turns into an Oozaru. Vegeta is now pumpling Raditz and Goku. Broly would somewhat get knocked back as well but it was really Broly who was putting up a fight against him as he grows stronger as he fights. Raditz did not look at the moon because he didn't want to go Oozaru and be out of control and he told kakarot not to look at it either because he would be out of control as well. Without Vegeta noticing, Paragus came from behind and cut off his tail, reverting Vegeta back to his human state. Vegeta can no longer fight. He is now weakened from the fight. Vegeta is crawling to his ship before Raditz, Paragus, and Broly are standing over him. One of them was about to kill Vegeta. Then Goku, just like in the original, stops them and says, "Don't kill him. Do not kill him.. yet. He seems like he has been going to something and may even need our help with something" That's when Vegeta goes on to explain that Frieza was the one who destroyed planet Vegeta because of his fear of the legendary Super Saiyan. The other Saiyans are shocked except for Broly obviously because he didn't know or was told anything about Frieza. Vegeta then says that they should join forces to defeat Frieza. "How can we trust you?" says Raditz. Paragus says "We have no other choice. I think he's telling the truth. Everyone agrees and let's Vegeta fly back in his pod to frieza's planet to recuperate. But not before Vegeta tells them that Frieza his on his way to Namek to 7 magical orbs that has the power to grant 3 wishes. And also to take the other space pods and go to Namek and he will join them shortly after he recovers. "I hope you know what you're doing, Paragus." Raditz says. "Don't worry, he knows what he's doing, and if Vegeta were to betray us, we can take him out." Says kakarot. "Fine" Raditz response. "Anyway, let's get off of this planet and go to Namek, We suffered long enough on this planet" says Paragus.

Honestly I think the events during majin buu would go differently. I see 2 optins playing out
Option 1. The supreme kai while in a desperate search for help comes across broly's power and enlist him to help, the universe may be saved but will still be destroyed by zeno. broly may even be killed by berrus
2. King Yemma gives the z fighters a second chance of life about a year after majin buu's relase. Being that they have been dead for eight years it's possible they been training non-stop for those years and even harder after they felt cell be killed, goku could've mastered super sayian 3 at this point. The humans may have kioken at least kioken x15 at that time. Vegeta moved on to hell and chi chi and gohan went to heaven. So when goku and the z fighters are revied maybe supernamkian piccolo if he and kami didn't pass on. Win but then Berrus arrives and then he hears about what happens. Then realizes they could ask shernron but he is dead

This is a neat idea! It turned out worse than before! The only thing I think wouldn't work is the instant Cell absorbs 17 or 18, all the Z fighters would feel it and arrive at that location, which would change things a lot.
Counter-argument, Goku can teleport before he is killed (people tend to leave that out during these what ifs and don't say he kills Goku before he can teleport all the bad guys play with their food before they destroy it, giving Goku plenty of opportunities to teleport). And then comes up with plan to defeat cell. even if he does die Goku just goes to King Kai he contacts Namekians they wish Goku and the others back and then they go train for a while😁. Or lady babba brings Goku back for the day he teleports to namek and wishes everyone back. also why wouldn't Cell still hold the Cell games he wants a challenge that's the reason he held them to begin with. He would be more cocky than ever since he didn't get his tail whipped around by Vegeta. so he'd be more than willing to let them train for a while to see if he could get a good fight. Even if the Z gangcouldn't train enough to beat Cell-off world that can still stay ahead of him until boo or beerus shows upsupreme Kai would get involved if boo showed up and could help them become strong enough to defeat him. And beerus would probably kill cell after fighting him. And maybe the gang could get ahold of God Ki. Since Cell wouldn't be able to teleport in this what if he might not even leave Earth because it would take him forever to fly everywhere.
The story change is exactly about vegeta finding doctor gero before he gets to the lab.

The thing about Buu getting to Vampa is that Broly is not smart or violent enough to exterminate Buu, and Buu's answer to an opponent he cannot possibly defeat is absorbing them. Meaning that there's a very real possibility that in fighting Broly, Buu would just absorb him and become a multiversal threat because he'd get access to Broly's insane power that seems to scale upwards infinitely. Considering nothing was done about Zamasu becoming a multiversal threat, chances are nothing would be done about Buu and he'd probably go around and start killing the GoDs just for shits and giggles.
In the anime timeline at least, Broly is stronger than Jiren, who was on the level of the Gods of Destruction if not stronger than several of them, meaning that in the anime timeline, Buu with Broly absorbed would only be stoppable by the angels and Zeno. Who famously don't do anything even when they really should.
So it's gigafucked.

+ Carthu’s Dojo I feel like you forgot about Kami. In the original story Kami was the one that told Piccolo about Cell. Now, given they would both be on the same side now and there’s not much to do I’m certain Kami would’ve alerted Piccolo of the energy he was sensing like in the original. Another point would be the fact that Goku would’ve still wanted to ascend despite not having any urgency to due to the fact that the future would required trunks to ascend beyond Super Saiyan to protect it against the Androids. The last point would be Bulmas arrival at the end of the fight with Android 20, most likely her being there and trunks arriving would’ve made it so he would’ve wanted to check Dr Geros lab and destroy or find blueprints to the androids 17 & 18 if he found either there. And to make the counter point that the z fighters would’ve wanted to check out the sudden disappearance of a whole city of people to see who or what made that possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if Krillin and Yamcha saw it on the news and piccolo arrived due to Kami telling him about it. Idk if they would’ve fused though since there wouldn’t have be any urgency to because no defeat to 17 & 18. And he survived his battle with 20.
Yes, you are right. To further enforce your point, the Future Trunks Cell killed was able to deactivate 17 and 18 from his timeline with a remote Bulma(not our one) had built for him in an alternate past. This means that the Z fighters from that time must have gone to the lab.
Ok. IF Bulma didn't raid Geros lab. And things played out like you say. Buu is brought out, causes chaos. Here is where I feel you were off. The Kai's came to Earth to stop Buu from breaking free, not to fight him. The only reason supreme kai stayed was cause he had the Z fighters. One way or another whis would have woken up Berus. Whether the Kai asks for help, or whis realizes the danger and unbalance
