In this video, we’ll discuss how to set up an exterior lighting for a daylight scenario. You will see how to work with the different light settings including V-Ray Sun, V-Ray Sky and Dome Light to achieve a desired daytime lighting for your scene.
The settings are applicable to both V-Ray GPU and V-Ray CPU.

Hello chaosgroup! First thank you for the tutorials and for letting all of us download the scene to practice, but I just have just one question about the lighting. I'm following the same steps of the video and I came to notice that when I add the vray sun and start the interactive rendering, it looks with a lot of exposure, do you guys know why could this be happening? I checked and color mapping is in linear multiply, the sun is located as the video but still have some burned out areas, I havent changed any settings from the file i downloaded from your page. Hope you can help me! Thank you so much

Great video. Hardware wise, what's required to make the rendering in the frame buffer update changes as fast as possible? Fast graphics card? Lots of RAM? I have a GTX 1060 at 32G of RAM running on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper.

I noticed the interface is different with the v-ray 6 for max install. I followed the steps in this tutorial but noticed no vrayhdri in the vray materials dropdown. Am I missing something here?

How can activate the drop down menu in the: "vray frame buffer" in order to select the lightning mode? For some reason is missing from my frame buffer, is a option enable it?

DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY NO VRAY HDRI option from list?!??!

In my material editor > maps > vray there is no Vray HDRI option from the list.
Running 3DS max 2021 / Vray GPU 5, hotfix 1
