  • r/Prorevenge In today's episode, OP gets hit with 2 separate cases of harassment. First an employee harasses her, so she reports the incident to her boss. Then her boss harasses her! OP decides that enough is enough and waits for her moment to strike back against her incredibly toxic boss. That moment arrives when the regional manager comes by for a surprise inspection, so OP happily spill the tea about her terrible boss. Say bye-bye to your job, boss!

@@PyroRoadScout the Union's job is to represent the workers with the company. The Union *has* to provide representation. Consider your shop steward as being similar to a defence attorney. It's Management's job to justify disciplinary action. I can pretty much guarantee that there was means for discipline in the collective agreement. Probably progressive discipline, such as a verbal warning, followed by a written, then suspe and finally termination. There may have also been grounds for immediate termination as well, but that would be outlined in the collective agreement.
Front line supervision will often let things slide, unless supported by upper management when pushing for disciplinary action.
In the story of Squirrel, stealing from fellow Union members also opened him up to Union internal discipline. If the Union had grounds to revoke his Union membership, he wouldn't be able to work in a Unionized position. Unless the company chose to hire him into a staff position, he could effectively be fired by the Union. Reading between the lines though, suspension was likely a further step along progressive discipline.

That could collectively land you in A TON of legal trouble. OP should have ignored her boss' threats and gone straight to the police to file charges of sexual harassment, and she could probably have also gone for charges involving a hostile workplace, since her own boss was threatening and sexually abusing her.
The entire reason these dirtbags try to intimidate their victims into staying quiet in the first place is because they know they are absolutely screwed if their victim actually goes to the police with any kind of proof. If you ignore such threats, your abusers will hold no power over you, especially if you can prove that they have overtly threatened you (which will likely result in them being ordered to stay away from you under all circumstances, and if they try to violate that order, they will be very quickly thrown behind bars) the police and courts will be obligated to take measures to ensure your safety.

So my mom called who you need to call and they had me come in and literally sign a paper that says I’m not dead and they had to “resurrect me” no joke that’s the words on the paper.

Disagree, but only slightly. I think it depends on what area of the country/world you live in.
I live in a very rural part of Alabama, and my dog care bill averages out to about $63/month (less in summer due to climate, more in winter), and that includes her medicines and her food, as well as her checkups and her shots. It definitely doesn’t include emergency vet bills.
Location, the general health of the animal, and the owner’s willingness to coupon definitely plays a part.
I imagine it will be more expensive as my dog gets older (she’s 5 now) and if she develops any health issues, but she just got back from her checkup today, and the vet says she’s one of the healthiest dogs that comes into the clinic.
Edited to add: my 16 year old cat is also healthy, no health problems, and he probably doesn’t cost $20/month, if that.

I can relate to the last story. I worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for BFI (yeah, I was stupid enough to work on garbage trucks, but we won't go there), and when they lost some residential contracts they laid off the low man on the pole. That was me... but I did get 30 days notice. Unfortunately my foreman, a little shit of a bastard, decided he liked my tools more than me and started siphoning off my toolbox. I caught him, and went to the union and service manager. They helped me go thru every drawer of his toolbox to find all of my tools (word of advice for anyone starting in the industry- engrave your tools with your initials!!!). That was that as far as they were concerned, even though the prick had a couple of grand of MY tools... IF anyone wants to know, the union was the Teamsters, who I found to be the most useless union (and the most expensive) that I ever was a member of.
But this was not good enough for me! I had a little one on one "chat" with the prick and told him that if one single tool went missing, whether I found it in his box or not, I would get some of my bros to come to his house and "discuss" it with him at length. At the time, I was close with several members of the local bike "club", and although I was not a member they would have been happy to help out a drinking and riding buddy for a case or two. My foreman became VERY protective of my tools for the rest of that month... seems he did not realize that the big burly guy with a nine foot long chopper and a ponytail down to his belt might be a bad person to piss off. Go figure!
Don't shit where you work, and don't piss off the guys you work with. After all, never know when a hand might "slip" and a heavy piece might come crashing down on your head...

Years ago, I used to work in a knife Shop in the local mall. I was lucky to get the job because a slimy excuse of a supervisor got me fired from my previous job. He loved to sexually harass women and would treat you rather badly if you said no to going out on a date with him, which I had refused. He did get fired before I was, but not for the reason what he should have been. He managed to get me fired for reasons that are are legal in matter, but not related to me.
Fast forward a few months working at the Knife Shop.

one slow night, I was standing at the entrance to the store talking with one of my regulars when to my suprise, I saw my ex-supervisor going from store to store where women are on shift. when he came back out of the clothing store across the hall from me, He saw me from far away standing in front of the shop and decided I was next. I could tell he didn't recognize me. As he made it two steps or so into the hall of the mall, An idea suddenly formed in my mind. a sweet revenge.
Giggling happily, a wicked smile on my face, I beckoned the regular to follow me back to the register. "Watch this." I said, hiding behind the humidor that was on the counter. He was confused, but did as he was told. Taking up position by the same humidor on the counter near where I was standing.

As expected, a few moments later, in comes my ex supervisor, a smug, satisfied grin on his face. I waited until he got past the threshold before I slowly sauntered up by the register, folded my arms on the counter in front of me, with my chin on my arms and with a very toothy, savage grin I said "Hello ___".
He immediately stopped, his gaze slowly going from me to all the swords, knives, and yes even Gimli's Axe hanging on the wall. He was Turning whiter and whiter as he realized one: who I was, two: where he was, and three: obviously what he had done to me flashing through his mind.
Finally, he mouthed an "Oh", turned, walked quickly out of the store. Heading straight for the exit. just as ___ was getting to the doors, I bellowed out "Good-by ___", which made him shudder from head to toe as he paused awkwardly in midstride. He didn't look back, just walked even faster and was out the door. My regular and I stood laughing so loudly, that one of the ladies at the clothing store across from us came out to see what was going on. In between tearful giggling, I shouted over to her what happened. I got a "Thank you" from her. "Your welcome" I shouted back.
He never came into the mall again.

See just being nice to people means you never have to suffer at the hands of a prorevenger.

A few of these felt like petty revenge, still an awesome video as always!
