r/Prorevenge OP was born with a severe medical condition that requires her to undergo extensive surgery on her leg. The doctor ordered the school to give OP elevator access, but the school pretty much just ignored that demand, leaving OP to miss lunches. One day, OP gets tired of missing lunches so she tries to take the stairs... and actually falls down the stairs! OP and her parents sue the school into oblivion!

Hi, I'm the OP of the title story. I honestly never expected the story to blow up to the level it did, just really wanted to share the lunacy of it all after almost a decade. So glad I got to see that I wasn't alone in what I went through.
Hope your leg is doing better now ^^ Sorry that school was pretty much scum to you, but you made it through and thatâs what counts!
@@Bownimations01 Thanks, and better now than I was then. Looking at a full knee replacement surgery within the next year, hopefully i'll get a sense of normal from that.
Wow, they violated the ADA as it was made a law July, 6 1990.
If you run into an entiteled parent don't give them what they want
...your choice of words made me feel old, and I'm not even remotely old. XD
Anywho, had I been a fellow student, I would've been enraged on your behalf, and would've been more than willing to help you get food when you couldn't get it yourself. I also would've happily stayed after school just to complain to someone in charge. And depending on how long that took, just found a teacher willing to let me chill until the next bus home xD (given my track record, the art teacher would very likely be a solid choice)
just imagine what you need to do to make a lawyer say: "I'm sick and tired of winning lawsuits against them, I'll do this one Pro Bono because I can use it to shut them down for good"
Especially because winning lawsuits is like a frickin' meal ticket! :O
Not all lawyers are sharks and having worked in the industry for awhile, I've seen even sharks weathered down and disillusioned enough to take certain cases free of charge as a means of getting back at very messed up cases.
sometimes doing the right thing matters most, even to those whose livelihoods are centered around what theyâre doing
A catastrophic personal injury lawyer here on CZcams literally says "Please put me out of business." on a regular basis. He doesn't want people permanently disfigured or even killed in workplace incidents. Those lawyers do exist.
The fact that the school had a lawyer who was downright tired of them, is a giant red flag and makes me wonder exactly why the last story was the last straw, and what antics they got away with in the past to think they could avoid the medical issue with no qualms.
That wasn't how I understood what was said. It sounded like this lawyer regularly sued the school board and thought this was a case with a set of facts that he had been wanting to find for a while. Thus they were willing to do the case for free to get some changes at the school board.
Most likely the other issues werenât as severe, or at least not as physically harmful
Schools, school administrators, and teachers are the worst. too many of them think the universe should obey them and not question their royalty. unfortunately their union defends these fucks that shouldnt be allowed within a mile of children, let alone the same BUILDING. we desperately need school reform, and it must start with the firing of these hags and the burning of their union. no public employee should be allowed to unionize.
@@trinalgalaxy5943 I liked the principal/administrator I had when I was in high school. She looked out for the wellbeing of the students under her charge, backed them when it mattered, disciplined them when necessary and if the teachers f-ed up or did something stupid, she didn't sit around and do nothing. She let 'em know that what they did was not okay, to say the least!
Granted, most of the teachers I had in high school were easy going, friendly people.........I had regular run-ins with one in particular, but they were usually straightened out.......That same teacher later told me during my senior year that I was her favorite student, which left me puzzled and constantly questioning how she'd treat the students she *didn't* like!
Why does no-one seem to remember âif theyâll cheat with you, theyâll cheat on youâ? And then get offended when it happens.
Maybe she thought he was single
People are stupid. Period. However, since they want to see ONLY the good things they did, they "forget" or "overlook" all the negatives. For one, he was in a committed relationship and he went searching 'cos he felt unsatisfied with his relationship and met you. Then he fell "so hard in love" for you, and now he has you as his...he'll start to look elsewhere as soon as things get hard for you two. That's why they say "once a cheater, always a cheater." Not due to lack of impulse control, the people who cheat do it as a way to fulfill a primal/carnal urge that most people with self control tend to ignore. (for the record, the you isn't you Kathryn, it's more the general you)
I never understood the logic of "I'm different! He will never cheat on me!" Like no your not and they will do it again!
A man who marries his mistress leaves a vacancy in that position
@@NerdAlert-bx9jz The "Wizard's First Rule" is "People Are Stupid."
With the second story, the fact there was a lawyer *specifically* for dealing with that school board and *constantly* won speaks volumes of that place.
And that the lawyer was so tired of their shit that wanted to work pro bono

Wow, people suck
Yep
*rSlash:* "Are you _trying_ to get sued? Because that's how you get sued!"
Apparently, they are since they've had prior lawsuits against them!
A lawyer with a history of wins against the school board, taking cases pro-bono because he's tired of the school board's bullshit.
I figure that lawyer and his firm got a LOT of good publicity after this latest win. Advocating for people with disabilities is a good image to set up and maintain, especially when there's actual demonstrable harm done by the targets of the lawyer's litigative skills.
Those who only work in a certain field for the power they can exude upon others lives in the illusion that they're untouchable, especially when surrounded by like-minded crooks. It's no wonder why you see some employees in public schools and law enforcement consistently getting away with the disgusting things they do, because they can use their positions to make up BS stories and/or bully their victims into silence and just have their superiors cover their butts in case of opposition or legal actions being taken against them.
@@Ragehunger This is why "Internal Investigations" shouldn't be a thing. If it's a complaint with merit, an impartial third party should have carte blanche to investigate the specifics and hand down a judgment, and should have the fangs to be able to force the guilty party or parties into submission and enforce due consequences.
The only thing an "Internal Investigation" does is give the offender's colleagues a chance to cover their own asses as well as everyone up and down the chain.

A person who displays a lack of loyalty, integrity, and fidelity, will never accidentally stumble upon the capability to be a loyal, faithful, decent person. A liar will lie, a cheater will cheat, and only hard consequences will give them a chance to either think about what's wrong, or try to blame everyone else for their own actions.
Most cheaters won't stop cheating. Most liars won't stop lying. For most of these people, consequences are the world being unfair to them, not them being unfair to everyone else. It takes even an ounce of integrity to stop, think, and recognize that the problem lies within rather than without, and focus on change. I don't believe in "Forgive and Forget", I believe in balancing the books and always keeping a record. Never forget past actions or transgressions, but allow future corrections to balance the books and build a more recent transaction history. A history of dishonesty can only be balanced by conscious effort towards honesty. And ALWAYS have a point where you're willing to cut them off if they're unwilling to balance their ledgers and get back into the positive. If they're determined to run their reputation below rock bottom, don't let them be the anchor that pulls you down with them.

Heavily agree with this. Vermont schools are especially shady with disabled individuals because that cess-pool of failure attempted to take my rights away behind my back as soon as I turn eighteen. Duck them.
I was punched in the face by a teacher during lunch break in year 2 (aged 7) because she didn't believe I was hearing impaired when I was having trouble understanding her, most teachers speak up when they were talking to me. I was fussy about hearing aids so I wasn't wearing them, I used a headset while the teacher wears a mic during class. The teacher that punched me was fired that same day after my mum went to the principal's office when she saw my black eye during pick up time. I never asked my mum what went down in that office. I tried telling my story on reddit but some people downgraded me and one called my experience a fake story. There's a lot of mean judgmental people out there.

actually kinda easy, just look at the states and search for some sort of hate crime type thing supposedly happening and the minority "affected" crying out for no reason. or look for another George Floyd type situation. those happen a lot i guess.
The mom in Story 2 reminded me of this fun little one my mom (rest in peace) loved telling me about (usually with a mix of triumph for us and anger at the teachers involved.)
When I was in middle school, she'd been to more than a few meetings with my Non-Special-Ed teachers, all of whom had ZERO interest in making even the tiniest changes to accommodate my Autism and kept basically trying to convince my mom to put me on various drugs to "control my bad behavior" despite side effects of said drugs including things like _epileptic seizures and suicidal thoughts._ It likely didn't help that I had just stopped taking Dexedrine, which had been seriously affecting my appetite for the worse to the point that mom was legit scared I might just simply _not wake up_ one day, so we were already pretty iffy about trying any other meds.
Anyway, these mostly one-sided meetings kept happening until the day she walked into a meeting with a portable tape recorder (borrowed from a coworker), pressed the record button, and calmly placed it on the meeting table, just informing the ladies that "well, you know, it's so hard to keep track of what everyone's saying at all these meetings, so I figured I'd just use this to keep a record to play back for myself later!"
And suddenly, as if by magic, all the teachers _never again_ spoke of trying to put me on questionable medications. It's almost as if some unspoken, implied threat had caused them to suddenly care about actually figuring out how to teach an Autistic kid instead of treating me like a nuisance that needed to be "corrected"! Fancy that!
I also had a "jeff" in my life. Wish i also had someone to enact a Pro revenge on my behalf. Kudos to the OP.
I think we've all had a Jeff or two.
They suck.
Didn't that story sound just a little suspect? The person who's email she was trespassing in never got any notifications about the old computer suddenly being active again? Not to mention the interstate two places at once aspect. Ignoring all the crimes for a second this person happened to the luckiest sob that ever was. If I haven't used my tablet for a few weeks and then log in on it I am bombarded with warnings that some bastard is accessing my email.
There is a slight ASMR quality to the recordings now.
Yeah, I like listening to these. They are almost always interesting and RSlash really goes the extra mile with him acting out the EP, or just going across the room to make it sound almost exactly like someone was just yelling or speaking from far away.
(Especially since most of the channels that do these stories tend to just use text to speech for their stories, which can end up just sounding robotic)
I hope not. I don't like asmr. But I can't really tell a difference
@@Twinklethefox9022 neither do I, but I hear it.
I used to be really close friends with a girl who was in a wheelchair due to a spinal condition. Our middle and high schools had similar disability protocols, and similar failures to follow them. The middle school was better, since they actually gave my friend a key and allowed her to hold onto it for all three years. The sucky one was our high school.
The elevators in the high school were for disabled students and teachers ONLY. Thatâs what it said on signs and in the handbook, but nobody listened. There were times that the elevator was completely full of able-bodied students when she tried to get in, and these assholes wouldnât even move for her! Given the fact that her mom is a bit of a karen, iâm surprised they never complained to school admins about the abuse of the elevator. Either way, our high school was definitely full of assholes who werenât even nice enough to let the girl who literally canât walk use the elevator that is specifically for her and people like her. Smh.
Hearing the disability story reminds me of when I had THREE knee surgeries in high school and they ignored all my accomodations. I wish my mother and I would have known my rights.
When i was in highschool, i had an accident splitting wood and cut my left(dominant) thumb off with a maul. My gym teacher diddnt like that i wasnt doing the state fitness test. So he made me carry out and set up all the chairs in the little gym for the pep rally later that day.

I can see Oprah on her show saying, "You get a lawsuit! You get a lawsuit! You get a lawsuit! Everyone gets a lawsuit!"
It's unfortunately very normal for big schools to absolutely fail at meeting the needs for students with disabilities.
I went to a school that had elevators in all multi-story buildings for students who had physical disabilities, like they were in crutches, wheelchair or walker. They knew how to accommodate physical or short-term disabilities pretty okay. But anything internal, they knew less than nothing.
A classmate was Diabetic, and he would keep having raw sugar taken from him as though it was drugs.
Speaking impermanent, the teachers would yell to get you to speak properly.
But my favorite example was when teachers would leave me in an office over lunch break because they didn't want to babysit a seizure prone epileptic kid who was on healthy doses of meds to prevent epileptic seizures.
Schools suck when you don't fit their expectations or risk damaging their reputation.
As someone that needed a prosthetic to walk again, discrimination against people with leg problems fill me with rage.
I'm surprised it took them this long to be sued! I doubt OP is the first disabled person ever in that school...
Iâm not discriminating, I think prosthetics are badass, your normal leg couldnât handle the heat so you became the ultimate human being!
Install a hidden pistol compartment
I knew a girl in high school who was an amputee (I think just one leg at the knee, maybe both at the knee, idk), but we only noticed when it was close to summer time and she was wearing shorts instead of jeans.
I showed some fascination, and she voluntarily explained to me the circumstances, and I responded that I love how she's never let anything slow her down and asked her if they were ever uncomfortable to use or anything.
This was over 12 years ago, now, so I forget most of the conversation, but I'm in awe of modern medical technology as far as surgical correction and prosthetics that can allow people to live unhindered by an amputation or significant limb injury.

This so called lawyer just admitted to wiretapping, computer use crimes, and other crimes. I guess this person hasn't attended more than orientation at this point. They just opened themselves up to both criminal and civil liabilities. If the guy ever finds out about this, OP is beyond done. This is a federal law and they don't play at that level.
Every single time they accessed the accounts, that's a separate offense. Now, I started listening to this, had to stop and came back 2 weeks later, so I may have missed it if he's in a different country than the US. OP is beyond stupid. Not only did they break several big time federal laws, there is a clause in law school degrees and law licenses that specifically address moral integrity. You will never be allowed to obtain your law license if anyone brings this up to the board. I can't believe this story was true, based on how bad this is and any half decent law student would never post about if it were true.
My thoughts exactly.
Though I nurse a small hope deep in my heart of hearts that this story is a load of BS, fake through and through, as Reddit folks are known to do.
From a professional perspective (I'm an inhouse lawyer right now, moved to inhouse after six year of civil and administrative litigation work), even though here in Russia we have a certain gray zone regarding privacy protection and personal information legislation - even with this premise the shit OP allegedly pulled would not fly. Even if - and that's a huge 'if' - OP would've been spared prison time by the court, they'd be fined all the way into the ground, six feet under, with some additional penalties to boot.

Got a love getting up early to listen to rslash:))
Its 8:47 in my time zone so its great for sleeping
@@djpvp9086 it's 13:53 for me
It's 9:13 pm in my timezone, so good for a before sleep vid
audio sounds perfectly fine!
unless weâre used to hearing echoy audio but upgrading equipment is a must!
Iâm SO GLAD the last OPâs family stood their ground!! Itâs so hard and heavy to fight a giant beast like a school system, but it changes history for every kid who comes after you! â€ïž
I legit started to laugh with the way you said "silky smooth voice"đ that made my morning!đșâ€ïž
lol these stories remind me of my gym teacher in high school who got fired because of me. I tore a ligament in my ankle my freshman year of high school which required my leg to be in one of those big boots. I had a doctors note excusing me from gym class for the semester because of my injury. My gym teacher had the bright idea to make me RUN the mile lap in my boot which resulted in my ligament tearing again which required me to have to undergo surgery as a result. My parents sued the school for the cost of my medical bills and that gym teacher was fired as a result of the lawsuit. Since that incident though my right leg has always been weaker than my left and I walk with a semi-noticeable limp now. On bad days I have to use my cane and/or my walker because the pain in my leg is just too excrutiating. Thanks high school gym teacher, you literally fucked up my life and gave me a permanent disability.
most E-mail platforms now notify you when a new device logs into your account. This usually includes a text to designated phone number(s) . Even though Jeff was a major jerk hacking into someone else's account is really stupid and a crime. OP could have gotten some of the information legitimately from public records.
weâve seen worse, if youâre a regular rSlash fan.
Remember the one where a person described murdering their grandma in detail?
And the person that broke into the account is in the law profession path, they completely destroyed their chance of reaching that goal. Lawyers need to be of good character and that is proof they are not.
@@moony2543 - I donât remember that one, because I stay FAR away from r/nuclearrevenge. Those people scare me.
@@moony2543 I know the story you're talking about, but I didn't know rSlash covered it. I've heard a different Reddit CZcams channel read that story.
I guess that Jeff by sheer luck of OP either signed into his new email on that device before or assumed that it was a technical error because a hacker being in that location made no sense and nobody should know the password to get in without hacking.
Teacher: OP got hu- OPâs mother: *Agressive door removal in record time*
I DIED when he began the "siIiIiiIiilky smooth voice", hahahah!
So the law school friend committed a felony by logging into Jeff's accounts sounds about right đ
Never piss off a lawyer. They know tricks you and I may not. And I'm a former paralegal.
But he logged into all his accounts which isnt good.
@@josi4251 As a lawyer, never do something that will get you disbarred.

rSlash: My voice
"She physically went after the vice principle!" THATS A MOM WORTHY OF AN AWARD!!!
IT worker: itâs not fraud. Jeff left his email logged in, left his passwords in an easily available location. Via these open emails, the other email and the dating website were discovered. Using the unprotected password data, OP gained access to the accounts. Through these accounts, they used information they found to locate relevant parties via publicly available information.
OP didnât break any laws. Jeff was just absolute pants at basic computer safety.
I hope that everyone is having a good Wednesday!
UUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Damn, it's already Wednesday?
Got my baking class right as these release, so I listen while I bake :), new audio is awesome, and honestly I donât see any mis steps! Thx rslash
I remember starting having seizures back in highschool. The school had ALL the teachers (and bus drivers) learn medical aid for me...I went to a school of only 200 students and I was the ONLY ONE with a seizure disorder and to be the cause of those aid courses was a little embarrassing for me. I never had anything medically wrong with me up to that point so I was really hating myself for it (I hated how I lost out on things and having to take medication...I really hate my medication but I learned my lesson when I just stopped taking it...my seizures came back with a VENGEANCE) and everyone at school thought my seizures were contagious (which hurt a lot because people didn't want to share things with me...like food or pencils...) And when my friends acted the same way (thinking my seizures were contagious) it hurt...only one friend wasn't scared to be around me!!!! She became my BAFE (best awesome friend ever) at least the teachers were more understanding and told me not to worry about it. (Turns out only ONE teacher had experience with seizures before (like bare minimum like protecting the head and turning a person on their side) and he litterally bruised up his hands (like dark purple and nearly broken fingers) protecting my head from the concrete floor of the computer lab. So I had the school looking out for me unlike Op school!!! (Even though the students in the school were bunch of dumbassess!)
Not even joking your voice is the only one I love to listen to at work for all these juicy stories. Every other account when they talk it sound very robot and monotone
The audio is amazing! It sounds like youâre right behind my head reading this!
I totally agree, I listen to it on I heart radio, it sounds like hes literally in the room with me.
Actually I am waiting for more Yugo.
18:56 NO WAIT THATS LITERALLY 50 PERCENT OF REASON WHY I LOVE THIS CHANNEL
He's onto us! He knows how silky smooth his voice is!
That first story though, isn't hiding assets in a divorce illegal? Depending on if they had a prenup or not, the ex could have been forced to give her a lot of money if that got out.
Sounds like fraud to me.
I clicked near the top of my screen and accidentally clicked this. Subbed!
Welcome :)
You won't be disappointed

Woo that Jeff story was a wild ride. What a beautiful work of art.
I once had a liberal college professors who chastised me for an hour after class because I asked a question "that set a negative environment" because someone else said something bad after my question and she blamed it on me rather than the student who made the comment. She talked about my dyslexia Wich unfortunately she had to know for my accommodations and kept insisting that was the reason. Then at the end of the semester when she asked for honest feedback about her teaching I told her what I thought of this and she condescendingly defended her harassing me saying she was just trying to help me. I only tried to go out of my way to call her on her BS since that day even anoying her on every office hour just to get back at her and remind her I can and will fight back from now on and I'm allowed a voice recorder in class so if unfairly harassed me again I'd take my proof to the Dean.
At around 4:40 (when rSlash gets louder) you can really hear the quality of his new set up.
The audio is already really good, you donât have to improve it anymore unless you want to. Donât let random people on the internet stress you out with stuff like this!
THat first story.
As someone who's goin into networking and network security?
Oh boy...OH BOY. That hacking work was a work of art, bravo.
The first op actually stopped midway of pursuing a degree in law realising that's not what they want so people don't need to worry about him having a bad career.
Rslash! How's Yugo doing? We haven't heard from him in so long!
I really like your new sound setup. Hugs for Yugo and kisses for Lily!
It's funny you say that, I literally cannot watch any other Reddit videos because your voice is the most iconic of all of them and it's just easier to listen to
The sound is no dramas for me, I listen every day while Iâm in the shower haha
I want the guy in the first story to handle revenge on my ex and the bimbo he's with
A law student thinks it's totally OK to commit crimes in order to take revenge on somebody else's behalf. OP stuck his/her nose where it didn't belong and misused Eileens trust while housesitting. And didn't even ask Eileen if she wanted revenge. OP has the same ethic as other criminals. For shame. Please excuse any fault in grammar and/or spelling
