Don't EVER lie about rape. Its both damaging to women and men, as women won't be taken as seriously, or men can be falsely imprisoned. Prison/jail isnt just some place. It can be a place where someones life can end and it changes people. Anyone who lies about rape is the worst

Dear gods, that one story with the OP who went to the army and his ex-girlfriend. I started off being sympathetic to both of them because of course going to the army is going to change things, but that was just vile of her. How can people be that vile?! Kate absolutely deserved what she got and probably more.
Even her own parents were implied to be horrified by what she had done, and likely remorseful that this happened despite their best efforts to raise her better than to behave like that.
This doesn't excuse them from what they had participated in against OP at all, though at least they know the truth and regretted it.

During one of those work days she and him slipped out to his car and did the deed while I was working in a different part of the facility. Not long after she started becoming cold to me and really friendly with the other guys at work. A few days later I finally got curious about her hiding her messages from me which she never did during the 5 years we were together, we always knew what the other was saying and doing. Didn't hide anything. Saw tons of messages between her and the other guys at work laughing at me because I didn't know what was going on, which I did but didn't want to believe it. A few days later she broke up with me and wanted me to keep living with her. I just couldn't take it anymore after being cheated on a 3rd time in the few relationships I've had and the fact we were trying for a child. I packed my things, put in my 2 weeks notice and after the 2 weeks were up I left toledo Ohio and moved back to Washington state. Now I'm happily married and back on my feet.

Ever heard of a "dependapotamous"? ;)
This happens so insanely often in the military, it's actually a trope now.
I can only speak for the US military, but I'm sure we're not alone in this.
@@RedT...TheOriginal.NotANumber uh what's that
@@geekylad8400 Not sure if you're being sarcastic or honestly don't know.
Assuming the latter. Sorry, this is a bit long.
A dependapotamous ("dependa", for short) is a certain type of military spouse - usually the wife of a servicemember, but is occasionally a husband.
She is a thoroughly unpleasant person. Demanding, greedy, vindictive, lazy, rude, and entitled. She does not have a job, and no intention of getting one. She sits and watches TV all day, doesn't help around the house, and only leaves the house on the 1st and 15th (payday in the military) to splurge his paycheck. If she's feeling generous, she MIGHT bring back some groceries or other essentials for the house.
Despite never having served in the military, she assumes her husband's rank, and can often be heard saying something along the lines of, "Do you know who I am? My husband is a(n) [insert rank]! That means I outrank you, so you better do what I say!"
Most dependa's are able to ensnare servicemembers by being attractive or... accessible. These being their sole enticements, the relationship usually sours quickly, leading the dependa to become a Jody in order to begin leeching off her next victim. That victim, entranced by her above-mentioned assets, is all too willing to believe her previous victim wronged her, so the new victim takes on the role of his predecessor.
Hopefully that clears things up a bit.
@@RedT...TheOriginal.NotANumber yes it does. I know this things were common but i didn't think it was actually real wth.
@@geekylad8400 My husband and I are both prior service. We've seen a few dependa's. A good friend had the misfortune of marrying one. They're woefully real.

Yeah, it really makes me wonder: OP has all this damning, incontrovertible evidence, and yet they figure he duplicated exactly ONE Grubhub receipt? Sure. It's not like you can ever order the same thing twice.
This reminds me of a real case (saw it on Court TV) of a guy who was wrongly convicted of robbing several banks. He had the misfortune to look like the actual robber. At trial, one of the tellers who was robbed didn't think he was the guy, so the jury acquitted him of that one robbery and convicted him of all the others. In that last story, I get the feeling there was more behind the scenes going on. As someone in a relationship and with some mental illnesses of my own, I can see how hard it is for my fiance sometimes.
