- r/Prorevenge In today's episode, OP has to deal with an incredibly obnoxious boss who tries to exploit OP for free work. OP eventually gets tired of his boss's terrible behavior, so he calls him out on it, and from there things quickly escalate. OP ends up reporting his boss to the authorities, who quickly find out that the boss is committing multiple crimes! Because OP was livid
Is this rhetorical?
If not then, in MY PERSONAL OPINION (I know you didn't ask): I believe it's because of intensity, and the image that the word 'livid' would typically evoke. It has a bigger effect .

I had the BIG ANGER
gotta love parents that turn a blind eye to abuse then become shocked when CPS shows up after the out cry happens at school or when school officials notice things. Honestly Op didn't go far enough with the revenge of taking everything.
I like ur profile
2:33 "If you're going to kill yourself, do it outside."
At first I thought this was a maliciouscompliance post, and I freaked out.
Personal story ahead, everyone.
When I was still in secondary 3 (15Y/O), I had a friend who was raised in an abusive family. She would show up in school covered with bruises and cane strokes on her legs, face, back, stomach, etc. (If you're wondering how I know this, female classmates reported so.)
Teachers would constantly ask how she got the bruises on her face and legs, but she always dismissed it off as injuries from being reckless. Teachers in my school weren't paid enough to find out, and nobody in our class wanted to expose her secrets. (She begged the class not to tell any teacher. Why? We never knew.)
On her 15th birthday, she didn't show up in school. Red flag. Everyone in my class who were close to her panicked, some suggesting that she was beaten to death by her family. This took place during the quarantine period, and going to someone else's house was against the law in my country. Everyone sent her messages to check up on her, but she never responded.
Eventually, we decided F*ck the law, and visited her. Her house was empty, no peopel at all. The door was seemingly forcibly broken. At her room, a piece of paper sat on her bed.
"Tell my friends I'm sorry."
Chilling.
We called her cell phone. A woman picked up, in tears.
Her-"Who are you?"
Us-"Where is [Friend]?!
Her-"I am her mother. She committed suicide."
Silence. Pin drop silence.
Her-"She took my instructions literally, and wanted to scare me. Unfortunately...
Click.
So that explained why she never responded to our messages. She couldn't.
[Friend] had taken her mother's instructions and in the process of doing so, accidentally handed over her life.
My take away from this experience is, please take note of what you tell and treat others. If you treat others terribly, one terrible thing after the other, another terrible thing is enough to push them over the edge.
Please, I beg of people to be self-aware of their relationships with others.
Im sorry you went through that and im even more sorry that your friend felt as though she didn't have any other option. You are exactly right if everyone was just a little more careful with what they say or thought about the consequences then there would be a lot less cases like this.
I'm so so sorry for your loss and I'm sorry your friend went through that hell thinking of you xx
I honestly don't know how to feel about the mother in that story. On one hand, she did something very bad and caused a very preventable death. And initially, I had no sympathy for the mother. But then I realized that she admitted it; she didn't deny what she told her. My god... maybe, just maybe, it was a wakeup call to her. Maybe she said something she didn't mean to, and maybe that was true of the entire situation; she didn't think she was being abusive. Maybe her past was similarly terrible, and she never was taught that wasn't normal. I know that sort of thing happens, and I can't tell for sure, but she does admit just what happened. I... I'm quite terrible when it comes to sympathy, but I am very... very sorry knowing how your classmate died. Her mother was terrible to her daughter, and I will never forget that. But for owning up to it, that's what allows me to hope for the real possibility that, after facing justice, she sought an intervention and changed her ways to be better. Because nothing would sadden me more than to be disappointed after seeing a chance for redemption. What I hope is that she helps use this experience to discourage abuse.
The cardinal rule of pranking; if the target isnât laughing about it afterwards, then itâs just bullying.
Agreed that was vile and not equivalent. The cousin threatened her with spending time with someone she dislikes so it is somehow equivalent to make her think she is about to be murdered and have a terrified traumatized breakdown.
Jack Daniels âDislikeâ is an understatement if weâre going off of OPâs statement.
Ok say she hates him it is still not the same and you know that.
Jack Daniels Hates him and is triggered by him.
Also realize that OP is reacting like this to her cousins father which is probably pretty insulting and why she ribs her with it.

First story: No sympathy for the father, even less so for the soulless monster of a stepmother. Hopefully life will treat her as poorly as she's treated OP, and then some. Bullying someone to the brink of suicide, and then calling them a liar and attention seeker is beyond disgusting, and she should've been charged with attempted manslaughter of some form on top of losing out on the inheritance.
Second story: I was hoping that the lying tweeker ex would be the focus of the revenge, but I suppose living in an empty apartment with nothing but her lack of wits and hopefully a major drug withdrawal is punishment enough.
Third story: Not everyone who runs from a war-torn country comes with good intents. It's just a shame that it's people like Ken who gives racists a reason to hate all people of his nationality.
Fourth story: Goes to show that some people have no sense of sympathy until they've been taught what it feels like to be put in other people's shoes. At least she's not at the same level of heartless and rude as her dad seems to be.
Third story: ONLY those who can run from an economically-destroyed war-torn country already have the resources needed to live comfortable on another country, and if said country is only accessible by plane, then they don't have any "good" intentions.
@@MalekitGJ what about refugee doctors who bring their families with them? They have the means to leave due to their profession and their intent is usually to have a safe place for their family. Would you say that this person doesn't have "good intentions"?

The prank is the simple "Don't dish it out if you can't take it". I've pulled pranks all my life and actually hated it when the person I would prank someone and they wouldn't do anything back to me. It showed the person had no self respect. I would then tell those people and helped train some to not be bullied by anyone, especially me.
7:50 iâm glad this guy got his stuff back but I seriously would not mess with a drug dealer like that, I am worried for his life now, for real
Exactly! When he said he gave the dealer's mom the "irreplaceable stuff", my first thought was "Welp, you're dead". The smartest thing he could have done was chuck that shit and keep his mouth shut. Let the dealer suspect the friends who initially confiscated his shit. But by giving the box to the dealer's mother, he confirmed he took it, meaning in the dealer's mind, OP just robbed him TWICE. (For the price of the drugs and all the dealer's shit).
@@Original_Tenshi_Chan Not all drug dealers are violent. In fact, most are not. The majority of drug offenses in prison are non-violent.
@@sierrasouthwell9237 no, not all drug dealers are violent. A drug dealer saved me from an abusive bio mother, however, some of her other dealers helped with the abuse/joined in. I've unfortunately spent more of my life around drug dealers than I would like to admit. I have a friend who has a HUGE fear of clowns but hers is from the fact that she was almost kidnapped as a child by a clown! If her father hadn't noticed he was walking off with her, who knows what he would/could have done to her! I never had a fear of clown and thought it was a silly thing to be afraid of till my friend told me this story! Super Creepy!
OP from the first story should've turned to the people who were giving them disapproving stares and said "And that's what we dealt with every single time we went to stayed at my Dad's house. See why we're claiming our inheritance from his estate now? Anyone think we would've gotten a red cent if we waited until she also passed away?" and just walked out of court victorious.
I mean I'm terrified of clowns and if anyone would come at me, I'd run them over. I was terrified during those psycho clown prank trends a while back. But this is also the best revenge ever.
Some people in the comments is claiming that what op did counts as assault
@@trappersshadow9751 Well what the cousin did could count as psychological torture, so all is fair when you play nasty games.
That "disgust" they got to op will be disgust shown towards the stepmother.
That first story hits home to me, I had an emotionally abusive stepmother. Thankfully she was not nearly as bad as the witch in the story, and my dad and I havenât seen her in years.
wow, that first story, that step monster literally got exactly what she deserved, I hope op is feeling mentally healthier and safer now :(
No op is faking it
Holy actual shi- the first story sounds like an exact replica of the situation I was put in at my dads when I was younger, except I didnât get suicidal, I just ended up befriending one sibling and not communicating with the other and then finally stood up to my dad and left with only a backpacks worth of stuff
I feel so bad for OP and what they had to go through and I wish I could hug them
Here's how I hope the last story eventually goes; eventually, the cousin does finally mature and realize that it is indeed wrong to make others feel scared without provocation... but also realizes that they need to teach the uncle a lesson too. So after apologizing, she offers to make use of her talent on her cousin's behalf instead; turning her dad's phobia against him. And so they team up, scare him a fair amount and explain to the big bully that he hopes he now understands a fraction of his own nephew's fear after everything he went through. And it would all be in front of the family, who would be rational and take OP's side. Definitely a stretch, and quite unlikely, but that would be interesting.
That last story would have been better with: "I just drove over the hill to where she couldn't see me... and that's when my cellphone rang. It was my 6' friend, calling to tell me he had to cancel tonight and the prank was off! They never found my cousin... or the clown..." *Halloween theme song plays*
With the first one if I were op in court Iâd have a smile from ear to ear also good for op he didnât go through with his discussion
For what it's worth; in the United States if a person dies without a will all descendants have the option to sue for part of the estate. My step-grandpa died intestate (without a will) and we were worried that the children from his first marriage would sue for part of his estate, as it was. It didn't happen but we did advise that if they did sue, my mom's half-sister should as well with the idea that she would then give it back to my grandma.
Moral of the story if you have anything left to leave behind HAVE A WILL! Also, if you want to leave specific things to specific people, such as your oldest grandchild gets grandma's wedding ring have that written in your will as well, possibly as an addendum.
The last one op over stepped some boundaries. I agree op could have pulled a prank, even one that had to do with clowns. However op never faced the actual fear of seeing her uncle. Op over stepped in two areas. First she forced her cousin to actually face her fear of clowns. Second she drove off. Op not funny this was not a "if you can't handle a joke don't dish it out" situation but rather escalated to bullying.
StepMonster: Where am I going to live now?!
OP: I missed the part where that's my problem
13:41 I have a huge idea bro
When she's sleeping, wake up like 10 minutes before her, print the picture of gunzo (it's a really scary clown like character in CODM and he grins like a literal maniac) or penny wise (u should choose gunzo because ur sister might have never seen his face) then stand behind her, put the picture in front of her eyes (make it look completely visible) oh and don't forget to put some scary AF music. THEN WAIT FOR DA MAGIC TO HAPPEN!

With the first one, the only ones I felt bad for were OP the half-sibling and the dogs
Thank GOSH you are making content. Giving me entertainment everyday especially in the morning cause I am NOT a morning person!

For the StepMonster in the first story, she should get a job if things are so difficult for her now. Then again, "bEInG A SiNgLe mOm" is the hardest job in the world for a Karen.
Nothing sweeter than seeing a prankster getting punked.
In the first story I hope that OP and her sister and mom was doing better in life after that whole tragic ordeal. Also I wished that when she was younger the mother would have stopped them from going to the dad when the bullying started and had went to court to let her tell a judge what was going on in the house with evidence of it so the dad and the stepmonster got arrested and sent to jail for child neglect and endangerment cause it is NEVER okay to treat any child like that under no circumstance. The stepmonster losing everything is what she and dad deserve and more.
