I'm for the realism 100%. We have too many open world games with characters jumping around. Implementing this degree of realism in a game with such a huge scale would elevate Rockstar above everybody else even more. I hope they have the balls to do it.

I play a GTA5 RP server and it has things like fuel stops for your car, lots of interiors for buildings etc etc. For me realism makes the world more real. I have no urge to play GTA online where people are shooting rocket launchers and playing it like a CoD game. I am buying a new pc that I hope will run GTA6 when it finally gets a PC port so I can jump into the RP servers ASAP. I was more excited to see the hair and characters more than I was the combat in the trailer.

Thought that too but modular models are still not usual in game development. Car models usually have one body with extras being bumpers and such. But seats are part of the model body. Meaning they intend to do something special with the seats

it hurts a bit seeing these higher effort videos not getting recommended well enough but what can we do, right?
I don't like the idea of fuel, while it's cool for roleplay type players it's just another bothersome thing for normal gameplay. Just like long animations that they seem to be putting everywhere they can, which get annoying after the 10th time you've seen them and only slow down the gameplay. Also while the gun restrictions may be cool in story mode, I'd prefer having access to all the guns I set up as my loadout like in GTA 5 online. And I'm torn between wishing cars have more impactful damage and wanting to go offroading in my Zentorno during custom races. Also, a lot of races in GTA 5 online rely on the stupid physics, I'm afraid that if they fixed the cars to be more realistic they'd make races and even just messing around resemble Forza Horizon
I predict realism in game play and narative. As in alot of people might not get the game they expect.

Gta 6 driving will be so realistic that the right trigger with act as the clutch peddle, the accelerator being the A/X buttons and the brake peddle being the left trigger
If you have played any racing games they have already been doing that since like late PlayStation 1 or early PlayStation 2
I don't want all of this in a gta game. I'm not saying that realism is bad (I loved rdr2) but it just doesnt fit in a gta game if you can't drive off the road.
I hope rockstar doesn’t go soft and still has the old offensive gta and rdr2 vibe

When they say they re changing the culture in their games... I understand inside the company but removing the edge to GTA games is like taking eggs away from a cake. Its probably gonna be a bad idea
