❤ you guys! I'm Gen X . Converted LDS from Pentecostal 20+ yrs ago. I have stories 😂 Also❤ Ballerina Farm. All of you keep up the good work!
I am not wealthy. We live in a small homestead… homeschool… and we aren’t rich. She’s a great role model!
Brittany was spot on in this episode! 🔥 The "traditional" women, the stay at home moms, the homeschoolers, catch a lot of flack these days. There is a lot of hate and it's mostly coming from other women. 😔
Left Alex Clark for you guys 🩷✨👀
@@lukev483 yes, but luckily she's off it now.
@@lukev483Thankfully people leave the antichrist Kool-aid that you are drinking for accurate information. Still don't know why you waste your time here since your comments reflect the antichrist talking points and nothing that is discussed.
It turns out, when you actually follow Jesus Christ in deed instead of just word, your life tends to go better.
Man, if only she were married to a rich Protestant and lived in Oklahoma and lived on a big ranch and started a cooking show and sold her products at Walmart.
Exactly! My wife visited Oklahoma and the thing she wanted to do was go to Ree Drummond's restaurant and store!
@@CatoELYounger THAT works based woman!?!? I'm appalled.
Alex is very gossipy, and has a “mean girl” way about her. I’ve noticed that a lot of my past favorite female conservative commentators have reduced themselves to bullying like leftists….and I find it funny when a woman like ballerina farm is actually LIVING a conservative lifestyle and simply documenting it that bothers the female conservative commentators. It must definitely stem from insecurity, and jealousy.
she was always like this because she was never conservative. you think a conservative runs cocaine and weed stripper after parties for tpusa?
@@CaptainChurrrgood point. I remember her saying something about going out to clubs to find a relationship, and guys not talking to her or something…and I was like “Why would you go to clubs for a husband?”
Not necessarily jealousy or insecurities. Perhaps it just seems unrealistic for most women. Especially because she can afford to be so idealistic. I don’t even know her so I can’t say. I just know that we shouldn’t put anyone up on a pedestal while degrading others for how they raise their kids, or have their babies, or wether or not they eat 100% organic, or doesn’t have the money to hire Tudors for her kids education. It is not attainable for most people.
Thank you for this. I was a big fan of Alex, and she usually talks about pop culture and politics, she rarely talks about theology. So when out of nowhere she started talking about our church incorrectly I was shocked. I love your about adding the ward Jew every time she said Mormon. The hate in her voice was alarming.
Wow... Just watched the first couple of minutes of this gal... The scorn in her voice is crazy.
Who wants to join a private Ward Radio RS group? Alex can have her Cuteservatives group.
For me, when she was talking about how well the "mormons" are doing my first thought was sounds like the religion is working😂
seriously!
I also found you guys through her facebook group (of which I recently left because it's become a weekly Mormon and Catholic bashing group over the last year when it's original purpose was for politics and pop culture). The ABS Lynn Wilder video makes the rounds in her group every few months and your video debunking her video has been shared a few times in response to people sharing that video.
😂 That's great
I don’t understand why any faiths bash each other anymore! We’re being bashed by worldly society every day! We need to stand together!
So frustrating.
I like the pop culture commentary from these podcasters, but that’s about it. They’re there for entertainment.
Yup, also a cuteservative and I have to snooze the group so much.
We need to start a private Ward Radio RS group 😁
Great conversation as always! Just a point about home childbirths - The reason we have the Taj Mahal is because of a childbirth gone wrong - Mumtaz Mahal died of bleeding afterward (postpartum hemorrhage). One of the sister missionaries I knew in the Dominican Republic died during childbirth. Childbirth is one of the greatest risks for death women face in their lifetime. I am not opposed to people having homebirths as long as they know the risks. People have been having babies for thousands of years and statistically, a home birth will be just fine(except when it isn't).
Yes!!!!!!! Some women should not have home births. That doesn’t make them weak or bad. My Great grandma was a midwife for many years. When the Doc came to town, she told the women to go to him. She truly believed her time was over. However, I don’t have a problem having home births as long as the mom and the baby are healthy. My G grandmother used to warn her patients that there was always a 50/50 chance of loosing one or the other or both during birth. It isn’t something to play around with. Luckily we have hospitals close by when something does go wrong. But it’s no guarantee.
Yeah my aunt nearly died during her at home birth when she hemorrhaged. There was no indications otherwise that she couldn’t expect things to go smoothly, but it went very wrong instead. At home births are risky. The track record of women and babies dying through the centuries should be a cautionary tale.
I totally tune out when other Christians try to convert me. Whether there are days I am more faithful or not.
Evangelicals will slam works until you point out their works. And then you realize they're just gatekeeping which works you're allowed to do.
Faith without works is dead
Still watching and I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this… but Hannah’s dad *just* died. Hannah may have married money, but her dad was a very hard worker that owned a floral store. I don’t know when Alex did this video but holy crap, how unchristian can you be to attack someone when their father has been dying? Mourn with those that mourn out the window I guess?
If they didn't have double standards then they wouldn't have any at all.
This is Hannah’s normal. Everyone’s normal is different. No one needs to compare themselves to anyone else. No ones life is 100% perfect. But it’s dumb for anyone to blame beauty on LDS beliefs.
I also live on a farm. My husband and I also have cows, and horses. I have 5 kids (proudly born in the hospital). I am not perfect and I know it. Oh well. I still know Heavenly Father loves me.
Have I been saved by grace? Well, have you been changed by grace?
We don’t EARN heaven, we LEARN heaven.
Brittany the Shadow should go for Mrs. America! 2024!
The rich young ruler asks Jesus what he needs to do to be saved and Jesus says "keep the commandments."
'Sell all you possess and distribute it to the poor and you shall have treasure in Heaven; and come follow me.' ( Matt 19 v 22)
Here's what everyone misses- Paul stressed about faith over works because Saul (as a jew) REALLY put works over faith. Once he became Paul he was urging others to avoid his mistakes. It's like my father in law- an alcoholic who really really really stressed the miracle of the Word of Wisdom
That's always been my reply. I know I'm Christian, and Jesus Christ knows I'm a Christian. That's really all that matters to me.
My dad when he was on his mission in Arizona Phoenix in like ‘93, had a lady that was investigating insist on feeling/inspecting his and his companions heads for horns
The name of that evangelical pastor who said they need to apologize to us is named Richard Mouw.
"Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter..."
It gets exhausting to explain that maybe this is a better alternative to the Kardashians.
You know a family is seriously Mormon when having 5 kids is considered the minimum rather than the nightmare scenario.
We had to stop after 4 kids, but only due to my wife's health not allowing any more.
@@lukev483You are so ignorant Luke. Antichrist literature does make one a jerk.
I couldn't care less about Alex Clark.
The way to beat them in the debate is to simply ask them: Is your saved status fluid/changeable or permanent?
Once you're "saved" can you sin in any degree in order to no longer be saved? If committing a terrible sin can revoke/undo your saved status, then that means that your "works" can effect whether Grace saves you. If your evil works can make you UNSAVED, your good works MUST therefore be able to save you again. Works is how you ACCESS grace! Key to a lock. (The lock is available to all through grace, but each individual must pick up the "key")
Otherwise they must argue that saved status is permanent no matter what you do & evil doers the world over will be able to enter Heaven simply by claiming they are saved, LDS included.
Would she criticize Jesus because he's "so" good ? What is wrong with an ideal, even if most of us cannot reach it, it is still inspiring! What she is actually doing is all the more impressive given that with wealth: She is choosing this natural course. Striking contrast with Hollywood types!
Also, 'we are saved unto good works' is New Testament Scripture!
This whole thing is solved in just a few words.
We’re SAVED by grace and JUDGED by works.
I’ve had one hospital birth and just had my second home birth 48 hours ago. It’s black and white. My naturals births I feel great after 2 weeks. You have a point there 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Yup, same experience. One hospital and two natural with midwife. I bounced back so fast after the all natural births.
Also she’s like - almost all bloggers are Mormon. That’s just not true, there’s a lot for the % of population, cause Mormons are such a tiny %. If you look at all the fashion bloggers though, there’s way more that aren’t Mormon than are. She’s acting like because Mormons have this “perfection thing” they become bloggers. Also this topic has been discussed to death in women’s magazines. It’s not a new thing at all.
Well spoken Brittany! And kudos to ward for including a woman in this discussion. Also, if I hadn't been raised in a conservative culture that encouraged me to be home with my kids if possible, I never would have had the opportunity to become a photographer and writer (like everyone else😂). It comes with challenges, but I've had amazing opportunities to be creative.
Watch Cardon attempt to silence the Shadow! Typical patriarchy!
They know that works are evidence to faith. But members of the Church of Jesus Christ do so much that they cannot stand it because they'd have to admit that it's a result of great faith, but they can't handle that. Because how could evil peole have so much faith to do so much better. So it has to be fake or something evil like trying to earn heaven or whatever. We gotta call it what it is. It's pure jealousy. Really they just can't comprehend it. It's out of this world what they see members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints produce.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. (Exodus 20:17)
The talk from General Conference of October 2022, entitled "Be Perfected in Him" by Elder Paul V. Johnson of the Presidency of the Seventy explains perfectly the relationship between grace and works.
I'm old, but in my younger days I knew a family a lot like ballerina. This is 40 years past. Just a warning. That family had some extreme problems later on. Doing stuff to be seen of men can backfire.
Thing is, people can absolutely do what these people are doing. I know someone that up and moved to middle of nowhere Utah and did essentially what they've done, without being super wealthy.
Of course we can.
“You can’t win with the folks.” Who’s competing here?? 🤷🏼♀️
Wow…. I had NO idea my salvation was based on how perfect my family was. 😂 … it’s always nice to be told by someone that truly understands our faith and religion so well… exactly what our salvation depends on 😏
People are mad because she doesn't spend her money on crap.
💯
I grew up near the Neelemans (her husband's family). They area amazing people. Also, the couple's net worth is around $5 million. While still a lot, they are not billionaires by any stretch.
I live right next to many of them. My Brother in law works for David. They are good people. And I’m sure Ballerina farmer is great too. I just think that some woman look at a person who seems to have it all going on, then try to be just the same, then when they can’t, it’s devastating to them. It’s good to reach for greatness while not comparing ourselves to others. We all have our talents. Mine are different from anyone else’s. And I choose not to splash my life all over for everyone to see. But that’s just me.
How do you know how much Hannah and her husband are worth? And how much came from their hard work vs. his father?
Matthew 7:21-27 this is THE consummate scripture why works is also required , from Christ Himself. From the NIV: ‘Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who DOES THE WILL of my Father who is in heaven.”
That's me in the picture!
Rock on!
A coworker told me she wanted to convert me to be a baptist. She asked me, “Don’t you guys think that Jesus was just a prophet?” No…. “But you don’t think that He’s God.” I mean, we do in a sense.
Jesus is God. He is the Jehova of the old testament. And the messiah of the new. He is the way the truth and the life.
I think when it comes to works-based from their perspective mostly or at least also includes additional covenants and ordinances in order to get eternal life
Funny, I just unsubscribed from Alex because of her livestream rant against conservatives who criticize Taylor Swift. 12 minutes of that was all I could take. I didn't even know about this until just now.
I would give this advice from Harper Lee: "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view … Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." I'm not an individual who follows these things, but Alex Clark maybe needs to meet her.
Imagine saying that a religion that turns people into productive, beautiful, successful individuals is BAD.
You don't have to be a millionaire to farm. Jared from the Christian Homestead CZcams channel bought some land in Kansas and he has chickens and cows.
Now I’m going to have to google Alex Clark.
Why do people assume her FIL’s money is her money??
My grandma jayneanne payne was runner up to misses America she had 12 kids and was pretty amazing. Many people were jealous! Part of human emotion, lol
Beastie boys said that Cardon, not rage against the machine.😂
Yes.
Dude the into music is so hype! You need to list all the songs you've been using for intros!
24:50 Brittany the Shadow poppin off!!!
I think it wasn't Candace Owens but Brett Cooper who defended Ballerina Farm.
Ward Radio -> Stake Station(s)
I found you guys because I was watching Mike Winger, and he posted a response to you guys rebutting him
seems like a nice dude. caught up in an evil enterprise; gatekeeping salvation for cash. oof.
Yeah man, there's something sinister about those healthy happy marriages and families and self reliance and orderly homes.
Of course there are some people who put on a false face of perfection, but her conclusions are wrong
It seems like an incorrect definition of faith. Joseph Smith said faith is a principle of action. That is the definition inherent in Hebrews 11:1.
Faith without works is dead
I can't say that I'm a fan of your opening music. The spirit went right out the window as soon as that came on :)
One of my dearest friends son… just lost his wife and newborn baby due to trying to have a home birth… and her uterus ruptured … had she been in a hospital… both she and her baby would be alive.
They should be careful pushing home births… 💔
A uterine rupture in a hospital does not guarantee you won’t die. I know a sweet mama who died from this in the hospital. I came near to death in my hospital birth.
@@brightdaysahead382 …. that is true. But you have a much higher chance of survival in a hospital. Much higher ♥️
@@beckischreyer It's really awful to be treating your friend's fam. tragic situation like that. If she had died in the hospital you wouldn't be making any critical statement about them. You have no idea how things would have gone for them. (There are lots of reasons why home births are becoming more popular. If hospitals addressed those reasons, more would choose a hospital birth.)
@@brightdaysahead382 …. I’m sorry you feel this way. They knew as soon as EMTs arrived that her chances in a hospital would have been so much higher. And the stress their beautiful baby went thru would have been the indication that sent them into action.
I think it’s tragic when home births don’t address this risk properly. Their baby died in the birth canal. Long before EMTs even arrived.
If we don’t learn from these tragedies… that would be a second tragedy… 💔. I get that many have a beautiful home birth experience. I just hope they all have a strong… and reachable back up plan at a hospital nearby… ♥️♥️
It's INTENTIONAL IGNORANCE
I am offended as a Boomer...I did not start the fire...Boomers voted for Obama????
Alex Clark seems to have her knickers in a knot about the idea of a religion which thinks works are important. Apparently she believes in an occult magic based religion in which all you have to do is confess that you accept Jesus as your own personal piano teacher and you magically become proficient enough to accompany your congregation in their hymn singing.
I follow Alex and Hannah. Love them both, but I’m so disappointed in Alex on this one. She lives in Arizona and I’m pretty sure she’s been going to Jeff Durbin’s apologia church, so she’s getting bogus information on our church. She has also had guests on who criticize Catholics, Seventh Day Adventists, and Jehovah Witnesses.
The attacker sounds jealous to me.
Yo! Love you guys.
So.... I cannot find this alex clark video? Did she delete it?
So Alex defended Hannah ALOT she did talk crap about LDS folk but meh... she is ignorant. She will come around to the faith eventually. She never complained about money but again Meh.
Sad the anti LDS tropes are so pervasive... and super silly. Im shocked people fall for them.
I’m not into Instagram much. I agree that sometimes it’s not good to include your kids too much. It was big news about Rube Franke and her show was big for years as Eight Passengers. I didn’t turn out well.
I just subscribed to Alex Clark, then I canceled my subscription!! LOL
Nice product placement Cardon. I want some Chinese food now.
I love evangelicals. I despise the counter-cult part of evangelicalism.
40:36 - Dude, Luke, you forgot one of the BEST ones! 1 John 2: 3-6
Apparently "Works" works.
7:51 - Right off the bat, when she's criticizing Mormons for being some of the top influencers because they look nice and have their crap together - have these people ever considered that it's BECAUSE we set such high standards for our lives and for what we value, that THAT'S why so we have high success rates in life?
But no. It MUST be because we're a cult.
I only have one thing to say to Alex Clark: WELL! Our Hell is better than your Heaven! Nanner, nanner, nanner.
She could have said, "hmm all these influencers seem healthy, organized, and happy, and they are mostly Mormon. Maybe there's something good about the Mormon Church that I've overlooked."
My mil thought mormons had horns until I married her son 😂
Am I the only one who heard AOC whining about the harm down to her district if a certain large corporation was able to bring jobs to it.
So I watched this livestream and listened to the words of this podcaster Alex Clark who Needs Serious Help with the English language. It's always about freaking and friking and Hey like and you know and all that stupidity talk. Then I switched over to ballerina farms who I had never before heard of.
And I watched miss ballerina discuss their story, and talk about a command of the English language, no throwing arms around, no beginning sentences with" freaking this or fricking that or, Hey you like, or "you know". But a tremendous comnand of the english kanguage, easy to understand master communicator of the English language, very impressive!
So with all that said yes it's total jealousy.🎉
They worked very hard to start their farm and I love their reasons for doing so. People should listen to Hanna’s story (the Just Ingredients podcast is one place to find that story) They took a harder path so their kids could learn to work hard. Maybe they were also taught to work hard and that’s why they are successful. I’m happy for them and wish them the best. I also love Hannah’s parents. So sad for Chad’s passing. But they are incredible example of trust and faith in God through their trials.
And she is open that someone helps teach her kids. She will often say that in videos. (“The kids’ teacher is coming today” etc)
The opening music is badass
Yeah… it’s awesome. They’re called “the siege”
They weren’t all homebirths
Correction It was Beastie Boys who said " You have to fight for your right to party"
Prop 8 was hard. I’m sorry about being denied housing for your religion. During prop 8, a member of our stake who was pregnant had a rock thrown at her while holding a prop 8 sign near an intersection.
Home births are only okay if you have no complications, which you can't ever predict. We have kids that would be dead if we'd delivered them at home and that's not something we knew ahead of time, and that's true of numerous kids in our extended family. Heck, I wouldn't have survived home birth, and neither would a few of my siblings.
There's a reason mortality rates for mothers and babies has dropped so dramatically even in the last 100 years, and it's not all just "washing your hands"
I admire those who do home births. I had major complications with 2 of my births. It’s possible that hospital interventions during labor contributed to/caused those complications. Ya gotta go with the spirit when making these decisions. Hospitals births have their issues too.
Makeup is works based right? My wife has never worn makeup.
Haha, I appreciate this after being bullied for my makeup comment
They look prettier without it.
Dude Carden, you grew up in Santa Clarita? I served my mission there. Missionaries riding bikes were a common target for red slurpies flung from cars.
The ballerina farms drama is 100% born of jealousy. She's not required to disclose every detail of her life especially her financial status.
Beastie Boys sang you gotta fight for your right... To party!!!😁 Not RATM
She's living on a wing and prayer with those good looks of hers. She sounds boring and not all that bright. I hope she has a plan B.
But guess what guys. Not everyone can have a perfect stomach after giving birth to many kids, even with special exercises, Especially after being cut open from belly button to pubic bone. And some women go to extremes to attain it (2 of whom I know who died trying) eating disorders are a real problem within my own family. Starvation isn’t the answer. Surgery isn’t the answer either. I think Carden is being unrealistic, and judging women who have sacrificed their bodies to bring other human beings into the world. No one is really perfect. I can’t disagree with everything Alex has to say. I hate that so many people put their whole life all over social media. People get over your selves.
Nerdrotic? Isn’t the quarter black? What’d he say?
Don't call cops on First Amendment auditors
The one comment is the risk of having her children in front of the camera. For everything else, I appreciate her content. It looks like a very wholesome lifestyle. Now, I will say that the viewer also has the responsibility of not assigning the blogger a standard of perfection that probably does not exist. If you don't like somebody's content, don't consume it. Very simple.
100%
Alex Clark sounds jealous
