Avi's BASS❤❤❤ vibrates my soul
People don't often react to this one, but it's one of my favorites. You're right, of course...there's no way you can mistake his voice when it comes in...he's just so unique! :-)
♥ Mitch is a countertenor; most of what he sang here was using his chest voice. Check out the video Mitch Grassi - Vocal Range (A1-B7). It's remarkable! There's also one for Avi's low notes.
Only singer I’ve seen comparable to him is the lead singer of Sleeping with Sirens.
I would love to see all of you review as many Pentatonix songs as possible. They are a gift to the world!
👍🏼Mitch ♥️. That's his head voice so it's natural and not straining for him to sing like that. He can hit even higher notes and use his falsetto. Mitch and Kirstie both can hit whistle notes like Mariah Carey and the late Minnie Riperton.
Mitch and Avi! OMG! Two of the best singers in that group, and yes Kirstie is also a beautiful singer, but for the 'guys' no one can beat Mitch and Avi for their vocals. I now listen and watch Avi on his own channel. Avi was so needed for Pentatonix but I think his talent was superb and he had to be on his own.
My favorite Christmas song they do is "Mary Did You Know?" Mitch sounds amazing in that one too. Not sure if you've heard that one but yeah they are amazing.

Oh my God I've seen that Pentatonix reactions on several channels, but I passed right by him cuz I thought they were a heavy metal group! I've never heard anything so beautiful in all my life! I love your channel, so I trusted that it was something good cuz everything you guys post is great. I'm glad I gave it a try. thanks guys.✌❤
Check out more of them, they are incredible and have no bad songs. They do covers and original work that covers many genres. Christmas is a favourite time, they have several Christmas albums as well. Try Hallelujah, Mary Did You Know, Imagine, do you like Queen? They have a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.....I hope you enjoy their music.

@@donnagonatas3155 to be honest, PTX doesn't do covers, they do upgrades. If there's a song out there that you don't really like, and they "cover" it, you will love it, but only their version. It's not Christmas without PTX, and most pentaholics listen to PTX Christmas music all year long. If there is any Christmas song you hate, or swear you will claw your ears out to listen to, listen to the PTX version. I've lost count of reactors who swore up and down, left and right, that they hated the 12 days of Christmas, until they heard the PTX version. Enjoy 😉

Ooooh hope y’all have more! Pentatonix are the kings (and queen) of Christmas and have so much amazing music. Saw them live in Texas a few days before Christmas and they sounded just as good or maybe even better live! Great reaction guys.
You've been "Mitch Slapped!" Mitch Grassi is the one with the high mesmerizing voice. Ask any Pentaholic and they will agree with you about that. You should try some of their stuff like "Sing" or "Havana" for something a little different. Cheers

Some folks call that a Mitch-Slap. I used to call it a Mitchuation, until my teens interrupted a pentatonix video viewing to ask if I was watching "Mitch Perfect" again.

Fun fact: PTX covered The BeeGees Too Much Heaven live in 2017 for a televised Grammy Tribute. Mitch sang lead, of course, and it is one of my favorites of their covers. Hard to find the video for a reaction, though... last I checked there was a copy still on Facebook (CZcams just has a fan phone recording from the audience which is obviously not as good). Barry gave them a standing ovation, which you can see in the televised version.
Mitch's falsetto is breathier than this... you can get a good listen to that in their original Love Again.
You just have to watch Mary did you know and The Prayer!!!!!!

This is not one of their best songs, far from it. There are so many better ones from which to choose: "Mad World," "The Prayer," "Imagine," "Mary Did You Know," "Silent Night" (which they perform LIVE in a church), "Sugar Plum Fairy" (for which they won one of their Grammys), "Daft Punk" (also a Grammy winner), and their originals, the hauntingly beautiful "Run to You" and the upbeat, toe-tapping "Sing." Please don't give up on Pentatonix if this video doesn't get a ton of views. They are far too talented to abandon!
I would beg to differ. they have many great covers and originals but it is my favorite Christmas song cover. Everyone has their preferences. :)

I teach an a cappella unit to my high school humanities students -- VoicePlay, Home Free, Citizen Queen -- but of course, Pentatonix takes center stage in the curriculum. I make sure students leave my class full-fledged Pentaholics. And I make no apologies for that. LOL
