Life Without You...live at The Capitol Theatre a must!!!!💕💕💕
Thats the one i keep forgeting to do, lol i gotta write that down
Always do a live performance with Stevie! He never plays a song the same way twice. I've listened to different versions of many of his songs. It's a different experience every time. He is amazing!
"Life Without You", is an amazing song Stevie wrote after a friend died.
He hits so many notes at the same time on purpose and it sounds amazing
Life with out you capital theater, the guitar playing will blow your mind and there is a very powerful message that applies to today’s social climate.
A change of pace. Stevie teams up with his brother Jimmy to preform "Tick Toc" the Vaughan Brothers.
Yes, he's gonna take that little nursery rhyme and... 🔥🔥🔥
😎🔥🔥
I may be new here. Life Without You live at the Capitol Theater is the best performance ever, I listen to it every day when I get up,and before I go to bed, sometimes at least once in between. Pipeline live with Jimmy Vaughan is also super awesome.
Thats the next one i will do and thanks for joining us 🙌🏾🙌🏾
@@watchbizmatik I did notice after I commented that many others suggested it also. Pipeline is cool but really short. I listen to Life Without You daily, multiple times even. Thanks for the heads up
🎶🎸SRV was a BAAAD MAAAN!🔥🤘
💯 Those Texas Blues tho! 🇺🇸
RIP Stevie Ray Vaughan. ❤🕊🙏
Facts
Double Trouble rules!!!!! They were so tight in the day with all the gigs they played they could just look at Stevie and just speed up or slow down depending on how SRV was feeling/playing that night!!!! A fantastic team at playing the blues!!!!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍😎
Goin Down by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck. mind-blowing !!!
To much fire. Sizzle......Stevie Ray Vaughn in a league all his own. Loved it.
Thats a fact
Double Trouble was the perfect side dishes to a gourmet entree
Tommy gets lots of love from the fans, anyone who cut their teeth with Johnny Winter and then became half of Double Trouble!
it don't get any better than that. he kicks that Bass' ass.....check out Stevie with Johnny Copeland "Tin Pan Alley" phenomenal
Larry had a little Ma'am. Mt favorite nursery rhyme.
There’s his whole band is great the guy in keyboards the drummer and his bass player they’re all friends they started together and they played up and were gather till the day they CV died that’s very unusual I knees been sending because I got so many damn egos you know everybody’s got to show their ego they can’t they can’t be a real person and let anybody have any kind of shine makes me sick if you really want to truth and half of them that think their shine are the greatest thing on earth stink Liz the queen love you Biz
“Tin Pan Alley” Stevie Ray Vaughan with Johnny Copeland brings out Stevies vocals
I love your channel!! Thanks for a great reaction❤️. And yes, for a different version of this song, check out the Austin 1989 version. It has the keyboard added and is even better. But! Not saying you reacted to he wrong version!!! They are all great!
Thanks i will check it out
Remember that’s his best friend Steve it’s been with him all those years he doesn’t play without him Les the queen
please react to Life without you at Cpital Theatre and Third stone from the sun at El Mocambo.
love all your reaction but SRV is my love.
love from Croatia.
I will add those to my list
You are on fire tonight. Wow. You’re cranking out some of my favorites. 🔥
His "real vocals" don't necessarily lie in his studio performances to be honest. It's generally his live ones because in a few interviews, Stevie has stated that he simply prefers to perform for people rather than machines. His band mates also said the same due to the "feedback" from the crowd.
If you want peak Stevie vocals though, his later stuff like his Acoustic version of "Pride and Joy" 1990 for MTV Unplugged will show you just how much his vocals improved over time.
He plays that guitar hard 👏For something different try Tin Pan Alley
I already reviewed that one
THIS CONCERT!!! Mary Had a Little Lamb, Texas Flood, Lenny, Pride & Joy, Voodoo Child...Like you said in another video: "If you paid $100 for a ticket to this, you'd be happy..well worth the investment." I totally agree. I'd go one step further & say a person who appreciates good music would consider themselves lucky to have had the opportunity to witness such greatness for $100 or more...even without the foreknowledge of his short career.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer" is fucking awesome. It's on a compilation CD called Merry Axemas (1997). Amazing guitarists doing their Christmas thang!!! Enjoy.
Tommy Shannon on bass & Chris "the Whipper" Layton. This song was a much older blues version he's covering. Buddy Guy does do it too I can't remember who did it first though. "Cold Shot" the video please.
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Mary Had a Little Lamb Lyrics:
Mary had a little lamb
His fleece was black as coal, yeah
Everywhere the child went
That little lamb was sure to go now
He followed her to school one day
Which broke the teachers cool
What a time did they have
That day at school, yeah
Tisket, tasket, baby
A green and yellow basket
Wrote a letter to my baby
On my way I past it
Hang on before you get into the studio version. Please OH PLEASE react to this song , but do the one live in Austin Texas. As you might’ve already learned SRV never performs the same song exactly the same in every concert. I believe you’ll really like the Austin Texas version better than this one. Let Reese the organist give it a whole different vibe and the arrangement is tops!!
YESSSSSSS!!!!!
Buddy Guy does a version of this song too.
Buddy Guy wrote this one.
you should also check Stevie Ray Vaughan's sound check better then most concerts.
I beleive it
It’s so cool🤟🤟👍
The bass player is Tommy Shannon🎸
There is a later performance of this on yt with Reese joining on the keyboard that makes this song explode. Stevie is in much better form too. I think the location is Austin TX.
Tisket, Tasket, he 's does another version in the first Dusk Till Dawn, good soundtrack with the Tarantula's, the studio version of MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB, is my favorite Stevie song.
☮️💜
It was Buddy's song. Stevie just amped it up
I went thru your videos and did not see any Steely Dan. WTF? If you like the best sound play Deacon Blues, FM, Hey Nineteen, reelin in the years, peg, rikki dont lose that number, and the list goes on. Steely Dan is one of the best. You will have a new favorite. Or ZZ Top - la Grange, jesus just left chicago, and many more.
Something seems to take over Stevie when he's performing, he gets lost in his music.
