This is the biggest project I have taken on, The bike will be completely stripped down to the frame, the engine will be removed for new piston rings to be installed, the wiring harness is going to be rewired and the entire bike overhauled, ready for spring 2020....I hope.

Tanx A LOT mate.. Just have bought my intruder, Your videos making my life easier.. :)
That was fun. Interested to see how you put it back together.
Got an Intruder VS1400 for about a week now and was not able to ride it because of corona caused delays in operating procedures at the registration office... thats hard!
Thanks for your great videos!!
Hey bud just wanted to give ya a update on my build
7:46 I've been working on a 2005 Boulevard too and I definitely feel this pain.
It is likely THE most common complaint throughout the vs/boulevard community that's for sure lol. Mine is still sat in there, there will be a video dedicated to the removal :D Thanks for checking out the video Rodrigo! do you have an Instagram account? would be great to check out your ride!
I just did this with my bike but I took all the fenders and tank and side covers off to paint it
Wait, its that easy? I've been pondering about repainting some parts of my VS700. I hope its similar.
Note to self: Add 13mm deep well socket to wish list ...
Yup ... ive snapped 2 bolts putting the gas tank back on tonight
Hey man, just want to thank you for your videos. Not only are they thorough, but they're fun to watch and you have a warm presence - you've become pleasant virtual company as I try to rebuild my 1994 susuki intruder vs1400. I wanted to ask, which video shows the broken bolt solution? My bike hasn't been on the road in ten years and even with liquid wrench and wd-40, the right-side/rear cylinder head bolt snapped in the engine. The bastard's stuck in there like 10 inches down. I don't intend to break down and rebuild the engine, but I'm afraid of possible future problems that might cause. Can't seem to find a bolt-removal video in your playlist so if you have any advice, I'd most appreciate any word. Like I said, thank you for making these awesome videos.
Thanks for your kind words my friend. Really appreciated. At the moment there isn't a boot removal video. I did remove the bolt but there final product was not up to par and there was no way I could illustrate it as it would have likely lead to others damaging their cylinders, same as I. The concept however is very straight forward, if you were to search for cylinder bolt removal, there are lots of videos on what tools you'll need and the skills needed etc. If you did want to see how I resolved the issue, you can check out the video with the thumbnail "what did I do to deserve this". Let me know how it goes.
@ Thank you so much. When I get this old heap running, I'll post a video with thanks.
your tail fender will swing or become rigid. It would be nice to learn how you fix the new rear fender.
Ahh, another cat guy. Awesome!
Sorry Michael but he's a dog ;)
@ Oh, ok. I would have sworn I saw a white and black cat walk by, lower right in the video.
@@fredflintstone3956 Watch again man, Border collie ;)
👀👍🍻
What size is that bolt inside the fender beside the shock? I need to find replacements.
Do you mean the nut on the end of the indicator stems?
@ no the Alan head bolt that goes through the fender into the frame. It shows it being taken off at 6:28
Hey, are u gonna need that rear light? :)I would need it, if u don't have intention to use it :)
Hey FV, it will be available :) I'm putting everything up on my website this weekend. Where are you based???
@ I come from Slovenia, let me now how much you would want for it :)
