  • Suzuki Intruder "Tear Down" Part 3.
How to remove the Headlight of a Suzuki Intruder VS1400.
Today, the Suzuki VS1400 put us through our paces. I had to drill out both fixing screws for the headlight to get inside. I was then presented with a huge mess of wiring that I know is going to be a pain to put back together during the rebuild, BUT it is now done, removed from the bike so that we can move on.

This is the biggest project I have taken on, The bike will be completely stripped down to the frame, the engine will be removed for new piston rings to be installed, the wiring harness is going to be rewired and the entire bike overhauled, ready for spring 2020....I hope.

Would a burned out neutral light cause a open circuit on the 1400 intruder and not allow the starter solenoid to engage?. I've already bypassed the clutch and kickstand safety switches

    •  Před 4 lety

Hey rich thanks for your comment. I haven't started the rebuild quite yet, the tear down is very VERY nearly complete with the final 2 videos due this week. I WILL however be installing a FakeMaker of which I will have a video on during the rebuild series.

I have been trying and googling for hours myself. On eBay they offer two different sizes. I don't wanna have to get a new housing. But nobody will answer that question for some reason?

    •  Před rokem

My headlight is 5 3/4 but I installed a whole new housing my friend with custom bracket to mount to the triple tree
