The 19mm on a crop will give you an angle of view equal to a 28mm on a fullframe camera. So if you put a 28mm on the crop it wil be 28mm x the cropfactor. If you put the 19mm on the a6500 and the 28mm on your a7sII then they should have roughly the same fieldt of view :) Oh and the dark ring is just the inside of the lens. The glass area is just alot smaller since it is only supposed to be used on an aps-c sensor. You could use it on the a7sII in super 35 mode during video :) But great work as always! :D - Yours truly mr. buck!
10-18 hands down for everyday vlogging. For B-Roll 16-35 or 24-70. However if budget permits give a shot to the Sony 35mm 1.4. Just got that a a few days ago and let me tell you, its insane how sharp that is.
Good vídeo! One question please? I have a camera Sony 6400. For vídeo sigma 19mm or sigma 16mm 1.4. The main use would be for residential interiors. Thanks. Best regards.

Alex Buck smartypans ;)
Great video, Tim. I'm considering picking up this lens for vlogging and photos on my a6300.
Doesn't the 19mm create the pulsing effect when in AF-C?
I thought this was a Peter McKinnon Review xD
Me too 😅
keep going! 😊 The "dark ring" an APS-C lens will create on a full frame camera is often referred to as a vignette.
Great video man! thanks

16mm has more distortion than the image quality of the 19mm is great.
Where you using the IBIS on the A6500?
Hey Tim, what were you using as a rig/gimbal for the moving shots?
